where do I start? š
the service is chefs kiss š- Iāve always had amazing servers who try to make our experience special.
āØI could write a love song about
the wedge salad. I get it every time.
āØI dream about the thunderbird pizza. (also, all the pizzas can come gluten free! big win) Itās slightly spicy and sweet.
āØI wish I could swim in the espresso martini.. I think it's the best one in Memphis. they have a revolving drink menu and I've never tried one I didn't like.
my only complaint is it's a little loud in the center of the room so it's hard to hear if you're sitting at a large table.
Had the cauliflower and salad. My husband had the enchilada bowl. The staff seemed knowledgeable about celiac and the food was excellent. Glad to have this app to find celiac safe restaurants when traveling.
Location was clean and the staff was very pleasant! We were first time customers and they took their time to explain the menu. Everyone had a smile on their face and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The food was fresh and flavorful and prepared quickly. They also had a gluten free crust option and dairy free cheese available. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
I absolutely love Imagine Vegan and to all my sweet tooth friends. The owner is an incredible baker serving up the best sweet treats in the city! When I'm craving something sweet, this is always my go-to place, and they have gluten-free options š. Stop in. You'll be glad you did!
We decided to try outback after a year when we had awful experience. My daughter is gluten free due to an illness. They were careful with the food and kept checking on us. The food was great. The service was exceptional!
I ate here for the first time and was really impressed by the staff and the owner. Everyone was super friendly and kind. The food was amazing, it was nice being able to eat some fried foods as they have gluten free options which most resturants don't offer. The atmosphere was very laid back and peaceful. Definitely will eat here again and enjoyed it immensely.. Highly recommend this establishment!!
Always great, fresh wholesome food. Salad bar is top notch, all my favorites with hummus, sprouts, edamame, and balsamic vinaigrette. Lots of gluten free options if you need them.
They have a Gluten Free specific menu which was super helpful for my girlfriend. The bartender went out of his way to make sure everything could be prepared for her the way she needed.
Even when they are busy, they do their best to take care of you. The order is always fresh. The portions are good for the price. The atmosphere is easygoing. They are one of my favorite burger places.
Having celiac disease really sucks because most burger places do not make accommodations or offer only lettuce wraps. Their gluten-free burger bun is a good, tasty alternative for those who have to have it or those who just prefer it.
Lots of coffee options, delicious! This place has a lot of character from plants to books to the company there. There are gluten free pastry options. I had a piece of blueberry bread! It was alright, not the best Iāve had but definitely a fun treat. They also have lunch options.
Great breakfast spot! The pancakes are huge, and the breakfast potatoes are some of the best I've ever had. Today, I had the loaded grits, and they were sooooo good. Vegan and gluten-free items are marked on the menu, too.
A little overpriced in our opinion, but delicious steak! The second one that is.
We ordered a medium rare steak and were served a medium well, BUT, the staff made SURE we were happy and raced out an absolutely wonderful filet mignon- free of charge.
One big plus side, was that they offered a gluten-free/vegetarian menu for dietary restrictions.
We enjoyed ourselves and were satisfied in the end.
The food was decent but they ignored my request to keep part of my order gluten free. I ordered a few of their GF feasts and they verified that they would be GF over the phone, but when I picked up the food, there were pita chips in all the orders.
We went for Motherās Day and took our kiddos! They have kid friendly drinks and amazing drinks with alcohol. Service was amazing and food came out super fast. My wife is Gluten free and the menu was labeled with GF choices. Atmosphere was family friendly and date night acceptable.
The food was amazing! Delicious Gluten Free and cauliflower pizza. Good service and would definitely return. Sadly if you want extra dressing for your salad, or a veggie added to your salad like onions; it does come with an up charge.
Babalu East Memphis is not as loud as a Babalu Midtown, but it's still a little loud for a lot of conversation. However, the food is so good (and there are a lot of choices for us celiacs) that I go anyway, when I get a chance. I had a great glass of red sangria (made on site) and my companion had a yummy looking drink, but I forgot what it was. The service was good, and I especially enjoyed the new server who made the guacamole table side. Can't wait to go back!
I recently discovered that I have Celiac disease, which made me worried about the foods I would have to give up, like pancakes. But then, I found out that Another Broken Egg Cafe offers gluten-free pancakes on its menu, along with a variety of other gluten-friendly options. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the pancakes, and since they are prepared to order, I could customize them to my liking. Moreover, our server, Chris, provided excellent service that exceeded our expectations. I'm looking forward to returning!
The food was delicious! Cute atmosphere. They were able to accommodate my gluten free mod to the salmon Benedict. š The hot chai was ok but not exceptional.
Our first time in Memphis and we lived this place. We were greeted immediately by the staff, given a thorough rundown of the menu items with recommendations. We chose the Texas trio - ribs, brisket, and sausage. All 3 were outstanding. The mac and cheese was different, but really good. The Texas twinkie was a solid classic, and the cole slaw was cole slaw.
If we ever make it back to Memphis, we'll be back to Bains.
We had a gluten free member with us and she had zero issues.
I loved my Grilled Veggie Plate. I asked for no cheese & no sauce to be gluten free and vegan. The cashier knew what gluten free and vegan were. He told me the sides I could get to make sure there was no dairy or gluten in it.
Such a gem and always worth the wait! The flavors are incredible, they also have many gluten free options and take cross contamination seriously. The staff are incredibly attentive and provide exceptional service
This is my favorite place to eat in Memphis! Every time I pass through on a roadtrip this place is a MUST. They are so friendly and the food is delicious. Thereās gluten free fried catfish and shrimp which is my go to. Itās close to the river and downtown, super easy to get to. Thereās something special about this place and itās worth a stop in!
This place is a gem! The service is always great, and the space is gorgeous. Lots of open room, plenty to choose from on the menu, including (naturally gluten-free) maracons!
My favorite regular coffee spot! Food and coffee is consistently really yummy, and thereās a great casual atmosphere. Staff is welcoming and friendly! Also they usually have gluten free bread for breakfast sandwiches, and theyāre been super nice and accommodating about my gluten intolerance and food allergies.
Great little Italian Eatery located in Harbor Town Square. Only about 7 minutes from the Bass Pro Pyramid.
Outdoor seating available.
Waitstaff were super friendly
Gluten free Penne pasta available.
Sober friends rejoice! The Lobbyst is my new go-to for all things N/A and more. My friends and I dined there for my birthday and had the best experience. Moreover, we're a hard group to please, with some of us having various dietary needs and restrictions (Alcohol-free/Vegan/Gluten-Free), and The Lobbyst didn't disappoint. Not only did they have amazing mocktails (get the Passionflora!!!), but they carry Athletic Brewing beer and Fre champagne. As the birthday girl, I was thrilled to finally find a restaurant in Memphis that serves N/A champagne. Because I also adhere to a gluten-free diet I was pleased to find a multitude of suitable options available.
Additionally, some restaurants struggle to provide a vegan carb option, but fortunately, they carry focaccia bread and can make a pasta dish. My husband, who doesn't have any specific dietary requirements, ordered the pork chop and it was heavenly! Lastly, the atmosphere was simply amazing. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was highly knowledgeable about the menu. They were also passionate about ensuring that I had a great experience. We will surely return soon!
My Granddaughter is gluten free and she really enjoyed the gluten free French toast. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful with her gluten allergy.
Friendly, cozy place. Breakfast was amazing!
I had scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, grits, home fries, gluten-free toast, and what I think was honey butter. YUM!
All of it was delicious! I generally donāt care much for grits but these were maybe the best part of this perfect meal⦠creamy and delicious! The bacon was crispy and flavorful. The eggs were light and perfectly cooked (because the server asked if I wanted them scrambled hard or soft! )
My decaf coffee was delicious and my cup was filled frequently! Several friendly and welcoming servers pitched in to make sure I was taken care of even though the place was full, with several people waiting.
I hesitated to review it cuz I donāt want it to get too crowded since itās so small, but it deserves a great review and hopefully it will be so popular they can expand soon!
Enjoyed our experience. The food was good quality with large portions and came super fast. Waiters knowledgeable and helpful. Would come again! Had a small selection of gluten free options and lots of vegan options
