Regular crust pizza is okay but not remarkable. Gluten-friendly crust pizza leaves to be desired. Home artisan potatoes are soft and don’t taste freshly made at all. Customer service is great; very thorough with modifications. We enjoyed their home made lemonade.
Be love is quite literally the best restaurant we've ever dined at. We've been several times now and have never been disappointed. The quality and portions are consistent, flavors are unbelievable. Everything is so fresh, you can really feel the love poured into every dish. A dream spot for anyone who is vegan and/or gluten free but ive also dined there with friends who are neither who have said it's the best food they've had. Keep doing what you're doing, its magic! ❤️🌷🙏
In heaven. Most items are or can be made safe for celiac. Had the Yum Bowl…sooooo good. The best part though? GLUTEN FREE ONION RINGS. They were just incredible. If you’re able, come down and chow down. It’s definitely worth it.

Food was… overall very salty. Not sure if this is how it is suppose to be but from antipasti to pastas, they were all honestly quite salty. Ingredients may be fresh which we would like to appreciate but they are just too salty to be enjoyed.
On the other hand, the service was great with solid gluten free options.
I have been a longtime customer of Big Feast since it opened. I did slow down over the years just due to costs. I have gone back a few times in the last year and have not at all been very impressed (it's not like it used to be).
1.Today I went for brunch, we decided to sit outside but noticed after a bit that it was a bit chilly, so we got our menus and went back in to request to sit inside. Our server told us their heaters were not working this morning then went to get someone else with an unwelcoming facial expression who made a point of saying it is our policy we do not change tables and reluctantly sat us inside. Note it was not at all busy. I am not sure why she made a point of telling us about the policy, it did nothing but make us feel bad like we did something wrong. Instead, she could have said sure no problem and sat us inside without mentioning the policy OR let us know the rules ahead time.
2. The food was overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Thai curry. It lacked flavor and tasted of salt and vinegar. I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago at the cactus club and t was so delicious and cost the same. I had a sweet tooth and went to the showcase and ordered the pecan pie. It was not good at all hard as a rock and no flavor at all. I got my bill, and the pie was shockingly 10$ for a slice. Absurd. I can make whole gluten free homemade pie myself that tastes like something. 7$ may have been a better price. I said to the server the pie was 10$ and she says yep smugly and said it is homemade and the whole pie costs 75$. Ok thanks. If you need a good pie go to Hansel and Gretal bakery.

Had dinner with My best friend and my mother last night. Shalena’s service was exceptional. My mum has food issues that can be a challenge. Shalena could not have been more accommodating.
Mum often avoids going for dinner due to her FOD diet
Mum was so happy to be so well taken care. Thank you for the exceptional service.
They have a special deep fryers to accommodate people who are celiac and willing to adjust a dish to suit my mums food challenges.
Cheers
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We had the soup and sandwich combo, and everything was incredibly fresh. There were plenty of accommodations for dietary needs, including a great selection of gluten-free options. The atmosphere was spotless, and the decor was superb. Highly recommend!
My wife ordered gluten free, she was served gluten. She is a celiac. Unacceptable. No apology from the server or manager. The item was also left on the bill. I honestly can’t believe this is how this restaurant operates.
While it was great they had gluten free waffle options, you only get 1 Belgium waffle and if you’re hungry, it won’t be enough. An order of thick cut bacon on the side helped fill the void. Oat milk for our coffees was nice, and the coffee cup sizes are kind of small given the $5 charge. Overall, it was decent - it was a breakfast start to a busy morning - but we’d likely go elsewhere for more value and larger portions.
This place is one of the best restaurants we've been to in a while. Everything we had was fantastic: Beef tenderloin carpaccio, smoked chicken penne, pan seared miso halibut, blackened creole chicken.
My wife has celiac and they have a lot of options. The gluten free penne was probably the best GF pasta she has tried.
We also had a few cocktails and they were all well made. Earl Grey Martini was a stand out for me.
Our server was very nice and accommodating as well and service was very fast.
Great meals at a reasonable price, we had excellent service and everyone in our party loved their meal. Would definitely go back! They were very accommodating for food allergies like salt and gluten
Il Covo is a new Victoria fave for me! The garden patio is beautiful and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere. Morgana, our server, was amazing and the food was excellent. Our group was looking for some vegan and gluten free options and she was so knowledgable and made great recommendations for everyone! We will be back for sure :)
Impromptu Valentine's Day dinner
They fit us in....I gave celiac disease and ordered the chicken primevera with gluten free fusilli

Very disappointing to say the least, save your money and go somewhere else. Both deep fried dishes came cold and soggy from sitting on the pass while we waited for an entree salad and a burger to catch up. $4 for a gluten free bun is absurd but good on the bartenders for a delicious spicy marg. Kelowna local but I’ll never go back!
Best gluten free pasta ever!! Service was incredible, we came in with a party of 30+ and the food was quick, hot, and delicious. The staff was very kind and had an amazing system.
Highly recommend!
Pricey, but worth every penny. Every dish my partner and I ordered was chef's kiss. One of us is celiac and the waiter was very friendly and accommodating about the choices available.
This is one of the best places to go for seafood in Vancouver and we will continue to visit on special occasions. Please don't change anything.
Beautiful antique ambiance and delicious food - specially the spaghetti and tiramisu.
They also have vegetarian and gluten free options.
Would definitely recommend.
A must visit restaurant in Whistler Village
Easily my favourite go to restaurant for my family. Menu is extensive and reliable. My son is celiac and they take extra care always and have lots for him to choose from.
GF pasta available for all there sauces
Was really yummy and very big portions
staff was helpful and understood about gluten free
Didn’t feel any issues after eating here
This is a hidden gem in Lake Country (just outside of Kelowna). They have amazing lunch and dinner. Sicilian inspired menu. Fresh ingredients. The place smells like heaven. And the food is incredible. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service is excellent. I’ve tried many items on the menu. But you must try the house salad with their home made dressing. It’s delicious and addicting. You can even buy the dressing to take home. The paninis come with soup or salad. One of my favs for lunch. The pasta features are always one of my favourite. Fresh made raviolis stuffed with whatever is in season. They also offer vegetarian and gluten free options. The gluten free panini bread is incredible. This is a definite must if you’re in the area or passing through. Makes a great stop if you are out wine tasting. Or even lovely place to celebrate birthday dinners or romantic night out. Worth checking out.
My family and I had a great experience. With the exception of root beer, there was something on the menu for all of us. A lot of gluten free options as well as Vegan and plant based. Good healthy and delicious options as well. And then there was the burgers that were very satisfying. Really nice restaurant. Option of sitting where it's quiet or in the lounge where there's a great social vibe going on.

Location is beautiful but food was a stinker! I am gluten intolerant and the staff were not prepared at all to accommodate for my dietary needs.
I requested the salmon burger be lettuce wrapped with a salad on the side. The salmon came out with nothing but lettuce, the lettuce was not washed (I ran my finger over it and tangible dirt came off onto my finger), and the salad also had no dressing. It was just cheap greens with a small piece of salmon for almost $30.
I waited ten minutes to finally wave the waitress down and ask for mayo for the burger and dressing for the salad. The "dressing" they brought me for the salad was just straight white vinegar.
I left hungry and super disappointed, I regret not sending the food back.
I would never go back and I would recommend anyone whose toying with the idea of trying it out, to choose somewhere else.
cozy fun atmosphere and absolutely delicious, quality food! the house made gluten free pasta is a wonderful option for gluten free folk. we especially love the pasta prosciutto e zucca (squash puree campanelle) and the flourless chocolate cake. the servers are all friendly and fun, and we always leave with smiles and full bellies!
GF items clearly marked on the menu, pasta boiled fresh in clean water - takes slightly longer but that’s okay. The food is so delicious and the restaurant really has that Italian family run feel, only downside is no GF bread!
We went to riptide last week and our server didn’t know what celiac was and said the fries were gluten free but they were in the same fryer as gluten food. When I didn’t tip her because I got gluten in my meal as a celiac, she acted like a child and chucked the card machine at my friends and didn’t talk to us.

Their gluten free lasagna was for my wife’s diet needs and perfect for my taste buds. Also the lady I talked to was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her creations.

Their food is delicious as always. Just wish they would get a separate fryer for cactus cuts so I and other people with Celiac could still enjoy them. Cactus cut were always a favorite before having dietary restrictions.
Farty vibes. Sports bar for kids. Had the 'gluten free' pasta but if you'd heard my butt last night you'd absolutely agree that it did indeed contain gluten. It sounded like the Titanic lost in fog. At one point it startled my partner awake and he shouted "ICEBERG AHEAD!". Went with friends, they're cool, they get 5 stars out of 5.
My sisters drove from Saskatchewan for a short visit. All three of us are Celiac and after researching GF options and we decided to try Stonefire. Settling on the deck and identified ourselves as Celiac needing extra care with food handling and preparation to prevent cross contamination. My sister made it clear we'd become very sick if exposed to gluten. Our waiter said the crust was made from cauliflower and sauces were a safe option. He made a trip to the kitchen to double check pasta dish ingredients and orders were confirmed.
Margherita pizza, Grape pizza and Salmon GF pasta dish.
After consuming the meal my sister questioned if pizzas were GF [not marked as such on the receipt], the young lady gave an indifferent shrug.
Her severe reaction started before she made it back to Cranbrook. I'll spare the details but her night was spent on the bathroom floor. Second sister had a delayed reaction, waking in the night with her version of gluten poisoning.
Recovery after exposure can take days, and she lost the better part of a two day trip confined to the hotel.
The next day I phoned asking for the manager. He didn't take my call nor did he return it despite the message two patrons became ill at his restaurant. I'd hoped to discuss how this might have happened so staff could be better educated in food safety.
Total disregard and indifference!
I'll add one sister travels extensively around the globe and this is the only time she has experienced gluten poisoning. Good job Stonefire!
I hope this review alerts people about what goes on behind the scenes.
