An incredible GEM for anyone who’s gluten free. I am visiting from Nashville, and I wish I could pick this whole little bakery up and bring it home with me. I will grieve not having access to this.
Absolutely some of the most delicious food I had in my life! I had the Mexican street tacos, which was not a big portion, but the flavour was immense.
I travel a lot and this place is outstanding, I will be back bringing 10 friends! 🤩🤩🤩 I only wished I had eaten here before so many times! Gluten-free by default and lots of dairy-free options. I even had room for delicious gluten-free dairy-free fried plantain for dessert with agave syrup subbed for the chocolate and whip. Yummy!! 😋
No wonder they won so many awards!
What a great find! We stumbled upon Mudsharks Coffee Bar while looking for a healthy lunch with vegan and gluten-free options — and it delivered. The Glory Bowl was packed with flavor, the homemade soup was comforting and delicious, and the gluten-free lemon poppyseed loaf was the perfect finish. So many fresh, wholesome choices. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Highly recommend!
A great place for brunch with vegetarian and lots of gluten free options. Love that the coffee is freshly roasted in house! You must try their lattes 😍❤️
It's very trendy. I had the Angela Burger with brie. Wouldn't order it again, but it was very filling, and the beef patty was perfect. The appetizers were incredible. Had little falafel balls and loved them. The staff are amazing and it's much bigger inside than you'd expect. Very poor area for parking but a nice place to pop into if you're walking around town. The bartender was very skilled. There are plenty of gluten-free options. Uncertain if there's accessible facilities, but I know the washroom I used required 2 steps to reach. The main dining area is accessible. A walker and a cane managed well. Would be wheelchair friendly.
Had the GF donuts. Best I've had in 25 years of eating gluten-free. Jay went above and beyond, made me a bulletproof coffee even though they didn't have it on the menu.
One very happy customer. Couldn't recommend Bigfoot Donuts enough. You won't be dissatisfied. Even the drip coffee is superb 👌
I love so much about this place, the people and the food. I frequent it often. Unfortunately they’ve recently changed the gluten free noodles and the result…not so good (mind you I got them to go. Maybe they hold up better if you eat them right away. By the time I got home to eat 10 minutes after pick up, the noddles broke apart into small pieces and into clumps loosing the noodley texture but also the flavour wasn’t there like it was before. I’m lucky that I’m not strictly GF so I will still go back for the odd bowl of much loved gluten filled ramen. Thought it might be worthy feedback to share from a loyal customer. Otherwise, keep doing what you’re doing!
The best value for the price in the area. My fish and chips were fresh and delicious. Everyone else was happy with their meals.and gluten free options are labeled now.
kind, compassionate, have yerba mate and gluten free! super lovely atmosphere that is like being in a tree house. amazing place to visit and eat in the area. patio is beautiful. They also sell handmade soap and creams. part of a global community of farms and community. Appreciate the hospitality so much! Pronto volvere para pedirte ese riquisimo mate latte!
Forgot to take photos (oops) but we got their BBQ duck rice noodles, BBQ duck bento, house rolls, and negitoro rolls. Took about 30 mins to get our takeout order and the person helping us was very knowledgeable. Yummy food! A lot of selection for gluten free meals as well and gluten free soy sauce too:)
This place is amazing! The best gyro I’ve had in a very long time. They have great rice wraps if you are gluten free so you can still enjoy this authentic Greek food without feeling like you are missing out.
We went through the drive-thru and the convenience was awesome! They even gave our dogs some left over meat.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Lots of fantastic Gluten Free options including calamari. Large portions and fresh ingredients. Staff is aware and truly amazing to deal with. Highly recommend.
The food was amazing. My partner and I have dietary restrictions and the kitchen did a great job accommodating us with gluten-free options. We sat on the back patio in the evening and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with a glass of wine and gluten-free Whistler Forager lager. Can't wait to come back to Courtenay for more!
We try to come here almost every with for lunch and each time we have the same young lady who is absolutely amazing. She always remembers to bring us gluten free soy. The food is always excellent.
Great place for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake or sandwich! There are keto and gluten free, sugar free options! Coffee was good, and the atmosphere is very nice and warm. Sending good vibes to your place 🤍🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Staff are so kind! Pizza is great! I'm personly gluten free so we got the cauliflower crust. Best one I have ever tasted! ❤️ lots of vegan dairy free gluten free options and our server was awesome! One hundred percent recommend this place 👌👏🙌!

Hot Chocolates made the most delicious cakes for our wedding and we’re still dreaming about them.
They created two custom cakes for us: a stunning 16" tiramisu and a smaller gluten- and lactose- free cake, and both were absolutely incredible. The flavours, the texture, the presentation, everything was perfect. You really cannot go wrong with Hot Chocolates.
The team at Hot Chocolates was a pleasure to work with - accommodating, friendly, and making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We’ve always loved their pastries and now they hold an extra special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely keep going back. Hot Chocolates forever.
Gluten-free tacos! I went for the Box with lamb that came for ~20$ and was fully satisfied - wonderful spices, great looks and the guacamole was bang on.
I’ve been going to pita pit for years and loved it, never had an issue with any of the employees making my pitas until tonight, the owner made my gluten free pita abnormally small - like ridiculously so. So I went complain, hoping to receive some understanding and an apology and that they’d consider learning from the mistake and doing better in the future, but instead they just argued with me, saying that’s how small the gluten free pitas always are, implying I was lying about the fact every other employee there stuffed my pitas much thicker than that. Their reaction made me so angry. They offered a refund but we refused. That’s not what we wanted. They’ve lost a life long customer due to how poorly they handled it. Because based on the argument that ensued I don’t have faith my complaint was heard or taken seriously. The other employee there also at the time was rude to me, saying I was the only customer to complain in years (as if they shouldn’t take me seriously) and that there’s nothing they could do but offer a refund. But actually yes there is something they could have done differently - they could have listened to me, apologized and considered stuffing them better in the future, instead of arguing with me that they did the best they could have done, when I know that’s not the case. All their other employees do a fabulous job of stuffing pitas normally. What they sold us tonight was so tiny I can’t even get over it and they had the nerve to act like it was normal.

Their gluten free lasagna was for my wife’s diet needs and perfect for my taste buds. Also the lady I talked to was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her creations.
If I could give our visit more stars I would. By far the best meal I’ve had in my life. Service is impeccable, food is incredible, and it felt cozy. They even closed the kitchen later for us as we came in right at 8! I’m celiac, and they accommodated my needs perfectly. My husband had the tortellini, and said it was 10/10. I will be a regular for sure!!
Burgers are awesome. Hardy, meaty, full of toppings. The staff is friendly. Fair price for kids meal, portions are decent size.. It replaced our old regular dinner spot Triple O's. Gluten free options are nice if you need that.
Love everything Owynn has to offer in the food truck as a celiac and lactose intolerant person! Been loving her burgers and Mac and cheese, the buns are so soft for gluten free! Can get my caffeine fix there with nice coffee which is an added bonus. Will be back to try all of the gf and vegan options
It is very difficult for me to be able to find places to eat as I am Celiac. They provide gluten free options, make sure everything is changed so there isn't contamination. I was able to eat out! The food was amazing too!

I am a celiac and there was SO many amazing food choices (that weren't just salad) for anyone who is allergic to gluten/wheat.
Everyone's food look so good and every plate went back to the kitchen empty. Looking forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu
