vancouver’s cutest (and tastiest) ice cream sandwich spot! 🍪🍨
Innocent Ice Cream Parlour is such a gem — gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and absolutely packed with flavor. I grabbed a cookie sandwich with chocolate mint ice cream and it blew me away.
The cookies are soft, the ice cream is rich, and the vibe is super cozy with its pink-themed decor. Great spot for a late-night treat!
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the fact that it’s allergy-conscious makes it a go-to for everyone.
Highly recommend if you're craving something sweet, stylish, and inclusive.
Love, love, love this place. Arguably the best selection of dairy-free ice cream in town, and every flavour I’ve tried has been amazing. My favourite so far is Roseberry Ave (done as an ice cream sandwich). I shop here regularly to satisfy my sweet-tooth, and I don’t think I’ve yet to walk out the door without a double scoop of nice-cream in a gluten-friendly cone and a freezer bag full of pints and sandwiches.
Thank you for making pizza that I can actually eat that tastes amazing. Finding a gluten-free/dairy-free pizza that doesn’t taste like chemicals and sadness is a true feat. ❤️
So many gluten free options, including cones!
I couldn’t decide what I wanted and the helpful and friendly staff member behind the counter suggested a hojicha affogato 🤤 so good! Will be back.
Definitely a go to ice cream place when in Nelson, I got the birthday cake and a delicious surprise of birthday cake chunks came with it. Way to good to skip . The owner and workers are all really nice and if your gluten free or vegan they have options for you as well
Easily the top ice cream in Vancouver! All the flavors are so good and their waffle cones are truly the best I have ever had! The lines always move super quickly and staff are super sweet. This time around had the seasonal almond + sour cherry and brookie dough, which was actually from May’s menu. The brookie dough was UNREAL and it was also gluten free as well which is great that they were considerate of that. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Some of the best ice cream in Victoria! A great variety of vibrant flavours for those who need vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free... and full flavour of course 😘 we love stopping by to get a gluten-free cone to go. We also take pints home, and if you bring back the jar, you get a dollar off your next pint. Perfect in the summer, but really, amazing any time of year.
Decent price for food and coffee, about $14 for their breakfast sandwhich and a 12oz Iced latte-- a good selection of Vegan & Gluten Free options too. I loved the taste of their espresso, and would suggest ordering their Americano if you want a nice, smooth, cup of coffee to pair with a baked good of your choice. Overall, the place is amazing, and the staff are always so friendly and inviting.
I was very impressed to get a gluten free vegan ice cream bowl. They took great precautions to make sure this celiac got to enjoy ice cream with her family. 5* across the board. Thank you for being inclusive
I have Celiac disease and can pretty much never get ice cream anywhere. I was thrilled when the staff here were super understanding, told me which flavours were GF, and served mine with a fresh scoop from a fresh container in the back! Highly recommend, and thanks so much for being accommodating. (For other Celiacs: they mentioned that the gluten-free cone is only gluten-friendly and may be cross-contaminated, so definitely get a cup).

We weren't sure if it was worth the ling line, but decided to venture to try it. I have a gluten allergy and ordered off the "gluten friendly, but can't guarantee it" list. Flavors were great and I didn't have a bad reaction. Fun atmosphere and delicious ice cream! Thank you
Always a pleasure to come here - amazing service and the plant based and gluten free options are delicious! Makes for one with dietary sensitivities an easy place for a snack! Plus! They have the Palestinian flag - supporting humanity is important. Thank you Wild Scoop team!
Tickleberry’s Downtown Penticton isn’t just about ice cream—it’s also a great spot for coffee lovers and those looking for a sweet or savory treat. They serve a selection of freshly brewed coffee, which pairs perfectly with their pastries. Whether you’re in the mood for a rich, smooth latte or a classic dark roast, their coffee menu offers something for everyone.
Their pastry selection includes a variety of muffins, cookies, and other baked goods, with options for those who are gluten-free or vegan. If you’re looking for something beyond sweets, they also have grab-and-go lunch items like fresh salads and pasta dishes.
The cozy atmosphere makes it a nice place to relax with a coffee and a treat, whether you’re taking a break from exploring downtown Penticton or just meeting up with friends. The friendly staff and high-quality ingredients make it a spot worth stopping by—even if you’re not in the mood for ice cream!
My fav vegan soft serve and they're good gluten-free stuff for celiac folks too. When I mentioned it they got my sundae topping from the sealed containers to be extra careful. 💗 I really appreciate that.
I went in to ask about gluten free options (celiac disease) and they were so helpful! Everyone was happy to answer all my questions, and assure me of little risk of cross contamination. I left the shop and came back later to get ice cream, and when I went to browse the flavours again, they had been kind enough to move the gluten containing flavours to their own section (which was so considerate). I sampled a few flavours, pistachio, London fog, and stracitella, and man they were delicious. Amazing taste, amazing service, 11/10 I will definitely be going back!
This place was a gem with super friendly staff (owner). They offer delicious gluten free crepes made with buckwheat. I tried 3 of them - the salmon, cinnamon sugar and banana nutella ones - all were really good, my favorite being the nutella. I went there back to back twice. Great coffee and amazing ice cream as well (tried their raspberry flavor). Highly recommend and would definitely go back whenever I'm in town!

I love love love this ice cream shop!
The ice cream is all handmade in store!
The wild blackberry is to die for! And is my go to choice. Everyone else I go with is always happy with their flavours as well.
They have gluten free and dairy free options
It’s a cute little shop with candy and fudge as well (which can be sampled).
They have a few places to seat.

The owner was great to chat with, but unfortunately, the ice cream was not to our taste, and we ended up throwing it away. After reading the reviews, we realized that it was actually vegan (made with oats, gluten-free, etc.). Had we known, we probably would have chosen differently, as we prefer traditional, indulgent, high-fat ice cream for our cheat days.
I have celiac disease and the employee who helped me was able to list off flavours containing gluten off the top of her head! (She also double checked the allergen list for me.) They also keep GF cones in a seperate area and said there's minimal cross contact risk in the soft serve machine!
Delicious flavors and the wait time is definitey worth it!
3$ up-charge for dairy free and gluten free cone felt like the business is taking advantage of these options.. Sure having these options is nice but then I am left paying 10$ for a mini ice cream cone? Was really bummed and just ended up watching my husband eat his ice cream.
Visiting from Toronto and had to stop here after a local friend from Vancouver raved about the original location on Commercial Drive. We were not disappointed at all. The store is clean and welcoming, and the staff are super kind. We’ve been back a second time in the span of a week while visiting - it’s that good! They’ve got several vegan and gluten-free options as well which are absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to be back!
Sej helped me, she clearly told me my options of gluten free, and Vegan ice creams, and was extremely helpful, loved my mango sorbet in a cone excellent service.
Had such a fun experience here Where else could you buy cinnamon ice cream with toffee or an amazing flavour called Furry Fiesta it was delicious 🤤 quick service ice cream available full dairy vegan or gluten free options ⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️
I love this place! The gluten free vegan poutine is INCREDIBLE! I have no idea how they make their cheese curds so realistic, the first time I tried it I thought they made a mistake but nope it's just amazing. I just wish I could get it back home in penticton.
The staff and owner are super nice and friendly. Only "downside" is the place is small inside so don't plan to eat in when it's busy, but that really doesn't matter.
This ice cream is so good that I wanted to go back for a second cone! I did their “pro tip” and got hard chocolate ice cream on the bottom & strawberry soft serve on top. My friend did mint on the bottom and cheesecake strawberry on the top. Both waffle cones are good. The gluten free waffle cone is not celiac friendly (made in the same waffle iron), but the ice cream is safe. There are marshmallows at the bottom of the cones, and the one in the vegan cone is vegan! This was such a lovely summer treat in a nice environment. I can’t recommend it enough.
My daughter is celiac and this is the one place we actually travel to for food (fish and chips). We live in Calgary and come here at least 3 times a year 🤤😂 delicious, every time 👌
Very good! I got a single scoop gluten-free waffle cone with two flavors. I also really wanted the walnut caramel crunch as a topping on the cone. This is under there sundae list. I asked for it in a container with the cone upside down on top. It was amazing!!!
My husband is a mild celiac. The server took extra care by washing the scoop in the sink with soap and hot water.
He had the gluten free waffle cone with two scoops. He said this was some of the best two types of ice creams he has had. He got the mint chocolate chip (the chocolate shavings were thin enough to melt in the mouth), and the peanut butter chocolate chip.
So happy to find gluten free options. Raspberry cheesecake was good. Nanaimo bar was flavourless. When I was young they had a barely-sweet, chocolate graham cracker base, custard buttercream layer (sweet) and real semi sweet chocolate on top. Now, everywhere not just here, they have no contrast, every layer is sweer, no custard taste and the base is greasy like a keto fat-bomb. Curious if this was a change to the original recipe or new style of Nanaimo bar?
We had a late mother's day treat yesterday afternoon. We tried matcha, London fog, and lavender shortbread. The flavours were delicious!!! The gluten friendly come tastes very similar to the regular cone. The staff were very friendly as well.
