Look at these pizzas and decide for yourself if it was worth $41.50 plus a 15% tip. 🤦🏻♂️ Gluten Free dough added $8, so non GF = $33.50! Not enough toppings or cheese to justify that heavy price tag. Roughly 14 thin slices of pepperoni, a handful of shredded mozzarella, 4oz of pizza sauce, a pizza dough and a splash of ranch or pesto. Damn!
This place is awesome. I've been here for dinner as well as a business breakfast networking thing. The food and beer are amazing. There are a ton of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. I had the king pao tofu lettuce wraps and they were delicious. The building is super cool too.
Taylor and the rest of the wait-staff were efficient, prompt, and delightful. Taylor was easily able to guide us through the menu to ensure that the one (of six) guests was not excluded because of her gluten sensitivity. The meal was beautifully presented, clearly very fresh, and delicious. Thanks for making it such a lovely evening for us!
Have been here multiple times and never had an issue with the service, but the other day I went in with my friend who has celiac disease and she ordered the corn tortillas when my other friend and I ordered flour. When the food came out it seemed like me and my non celiac friends tacos were on corn tortillas and my celiac friends looked like it was on flour. Having already verbalized a celiac disease to the waitress, we called her over to double check and make sure that the tacos were properly plated and she said that they were rang in and brought out correctly. My celiac friend later had a reaction and I find it hard to believe that the tortillas she got were the correct corn ones. I understand an honest mistake on ringing in food, but even when we clarified with the waitress she didn't seem sure that they were the correct tortillas despite saying that they were, and she did not offer to double check either. There would be nothing else that could've made my friend have a reaction other than those tacos.
The food was amazing. 2 of us shared the family style 3 course meal and every piece was phenomenal. My partner got the salt cod and it was also amazing.
They also accommodated my celiac amazingly and did it all gluten free.
Service was notably good and the restaurant is so cute. Our server asked if we wanted refills when we had one sip left of our drink, was very friendly and professional.
Also, first restaurant in my experience to read the OpenTable comments area, and asked about the holiday I noted and my celiac.

I am so glad Campio has landed in Ritchie! The atmosphere and plethora of beverage offerings are awesome. The only thing I would give as feedback is that it is extremely hard as an individual with celiac to eat here. Their menu is rife with GF and GF+ items, which excited me at first, however, there is an absolute risk of cross-contamination due to the lack of separate fryers or prep space. I appreciated the staff's confirmation of this, but it makes it really hard to go here now. Liquid diet it is!
Ordered delivery through Uber. Gluten free (popular according to the restaurant), Margherita. The crust was soggy and a really strange consistency. Toppings slid off because of the weird plastic like crust. Cheese was also strange, like it was fake. To top it off, there was a hair baked into the crust. I get those things can happen but on top of the terrible, tasteless pizza it was pretty disappointing.
Sophie was immaculate thanks very much for adhering to my food allergy requests of no dairy and gluten!!! Had a great night, great drinks. Kitchen staff was laid back, very cool vibe.
Tried the beet salad bowl and it really wasn't anything special. Was also quite expensive for just a salad with some beets and carrots. I found the tahini dressing that came with it a bit too bland and not enough dressing came with the salad either. The sandwiches sound good but unfortunately they don't carry gluten free options for those so I couldn't try one of those instead.
The staff are helpful and kind (and also always have amazing sense of style), the neighbourhood is cute, great place to stop for an iced coffee or lunch with a friend.
Some gluten free options are available.
Kenya and Bithania made my experience so very special. They were so incredibly welcoming and friendly, and made me feel super comfortable throughout my time there. Bithania was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding my gluten intolerance, aswell as any other questions I had for her. I ordered a warm potato salad and a grilled chicken breast, which was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning to this location:)
We have been coming for our lunch most of 2022-2023 (summer happy hours). My girlfriend and I have gone through so many delightful menu items and we cannot tell you one favorite, because we have multiple.
I have food sensitivities but they have never failed to accommodate me. They've gone many extra miles to do so. My girlfriend can have all their delicious spicy and garlic menu items and loves them.
Thank you to Ariana, the amazing manager who treats us like family. The chefs who recognize us when we walk in and are ready for my "special requests", no problem. They are the best. Rui the head chef in particular!
Some of our Favs:
Maple Old Fashioned
Ceasar & Beet salads (no beets, cause I can't eat them - but OMG maple vinegarette)
Lobster Roll or Chicken & Brie
Beignets and outrageously chocolate sticky gluten fee Chocolate Chip Brownie
Focaccia is amazing too....but that's just this week's review.
Just come and decide for yourself. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I always find Boston pizza just average. The pizza is decent but it's a bit pricey. If you want a good gluten free crust, my friend says they have one of the better ones.
I was quite disappointed with my experience having lunch here last week. I went with coworkers and picked CSH because they seemed like a decent choice in the area for gluten-free food. I asked multiple times if the food was gluten-free and about cross-contamination. They reassured me it was safe. I ordered chicken wings and fries and was told they have a separate fryer. It was not safe. I got sick for 5 days after. The symptoms of gluten intolerance and mild allergy began less than 1 hour after eating. I had to take a sick day from work the following day. I don't recommend that anyone with a gluten sensitivity, intolerance, or allergy eat here. The food was delicious!
I now have more evidence that I'm developing an anaphylaxis reaction to gluten, so that's good - right?! 😆
The service was terrible.
They put us at a crappy table by the door and basically forgot we exist 😅 I am not high maintenance, but do appreciate the bare minimum, which we didn't get.
I hope they stop saying it's safe for gluten allergies or study-up on how to avoid cross contamination with gluten before someone else goes through what I did. And, there are other pubs in Edmonton I go to often and have never been glutened.
Our first time, and it was nice. We popped in for a pre-game cocktail & snack. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table by the wall. Our server was lovely and helped us choose the perfect cocktails. She also was very aware of the gluten free options etc.. We did find the music a bit loud (Though we are two ancient over 40 year olds ha), but I could see how the younger crowd would love this place, and we will come back too. I'd recommend the Korean popcorn chicken, delicious!
Delicious mexican food and even better margaritas! This is a great place to hit up before going out downtown!
The vibe is super cool! I really liked it! The green enchiladas were absolutely amazing!
Lots of gluten free options!
Food was delicious. My celiac friend was really happy because of the many gluten-free options, including beer. A bit loud because it was packed on a Thursday night, but worth it.
Incredible food! Our group of 7 tried nearly everything on the menu and honestly loved everything and it was the perfect sized family-style meal. A lot of gluten free options—most of the menu was GF. They are an excellent pillar of the community and a fun spot to check out! Oh, and awesome drinks too!
The service here was outstanding!! The food was delicious as well. My husband is celiac and there were plenty of options. Definitely a great place for a date night.
I had a really good experience here! I’m celiac and they have lots of gluten free options which they pointed out. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good! Best pad Thai I’ve ever tasted. The salad rolls were delicious along with the peanut sauce! Very impressed and I will be back!
I've been here twice and ordered a gluten free pizza. Bar none the best gluten free pizza I have ever had in a restaurant. In my opinion, the crust tasted and had the same consistency/texture as regular pizza crust. The Amore la Carne pizza is awesome!
I was here for dinner with my girlfriend. This place has a very dim light ambience with just one candle on the table. It was funny to see people around me using the phone flashlight to read the menu.
There was literally one server seving 10 tables. Service was pretty slow. Like I saw our pastas ready since they have an open kitchen counter. The server picked it up and handed it to us after 10 minutes.
They have a lot of gluten free options if you have an allergy. Food was average. Great portions though. We tried the Salsiccia for appetizer and Tagliatelle con pollo and the Rigatoni verdure. It tasted decent.
Excellent food, if you come here you have to try the brussel sprouts. They are fantastic.
Server did a great job and took allergy concerns seriously and was able to make a substitution for us.
It's expensive, but worth it for a nice night out or a special occasion.
Lots of gluten friendly options.
Been coming to Tony's for almost a decade. The food is good, service is good, but the portions are a little small and the prices are high. They charged me $9.50 for this tiramisu 😭 (see pics). I don't do well with gluten so I can't visit all the time anyways but it's good to come here once in a while if you want to splurge.
Wok Box on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton delivers a flavorful, fast-casual dining experience with a menu inspired by a variety of Asian cuisines. With its customizable bowls and quick service, it’s a convenient option for those looking for a satisfying meal in the downtown core. I'll rate it a solid 4 stars.
The menu is one of Wok Box’s strongest features. Offering a wide range of dishes—like Dan Dan noodles, butter chicken, and Korean-style beef—diners appreciate the bold flavors and ability to tailor meals to personal tastes. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-friendly options are available, making it accessible to a broad audience. Portions are generous, and most dishes provide good value for the price. Service at this location is often friendly and efficient. Staff are generally welcoming and helpful, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Orders are typically prepared quickly, which is ideal for lunch breaks or quick dinners.
The ambiance is great, but there's also room for improvement. The dining area is basic and functional but lacks character. Its location on a busy stretch of Jasper Avenue means that outside noise or foot traffic can sometimes detract from the experience. This is great if you are into the hustle and bustle, and if you are not, then no.
Wok Box offers quick, flavorful meals with friendly service and a menu that caters to diverse preferences.
This new iteration of Spice Kitchen is awesome! The Biryani was to die for! Quiet and classy atmosphere, kind service attentive to details and fresh big portions dishes. The menu indicates clearly gluten free items and cashews. I love menus with pictures, so this was a nice bonus to make sure we ordered what we thought we were. We, for sure, will be coming back many times!
We stopped in for a quick drink and some appies, and were not disappointed. Interesting cocktails, including a nice Old Fashioned. The salmon crudo was awesome, and fit the bill as gluten and dairy free. The truffle grilled cheese was definitely not gluten and dairy free, but was delicious. The hogs in a blanket were very tasty, but I expected the dough to play a bigger role. The mustard dip was awesome!
All in all, a great pit stop on a busy day - love to spend more time there.
Bodega always impresses! One of our party has gluten intolerance and dairy allergy, and these guys understand how to ensure a safe and tasty meal.
We just had tapas, but each was fantastic - grilled octopus, scallops, and huge shrimp were all gluten and dairy free. We also had Portuguese bread and a mixed mushroom dish that were incredible!
We’ve been to Bodega and Sabor a number of times, and will definitely continue to return.
Not many gluten free options. I Had the Matcha Latte with a gluten free biscotti. The latte was as good as anywhere else and the only gluten free stuff they had was bread for a sandwich, a breakfast roll and the biscotti. Also I asked for my latte in a mug to stay and he gave it in a paper cup, so I had to ask twice but he fixed it quickly no problem; very friendly. They have a long counter facing the window designed for laptops and students but it seems like they gave up and lined it with plants, because I had to move a plant to make space for my laptop 💻, I like plants but maybe some hanging ones or have some bigger ones on the ground. There was also cold air blowing up from the vents below, but it might have just been where I was sitting.
🚗 All paid parking. Why business don't petition the city to have free parking is beyond me, they lose untold number of customers who don't want to deal with the parking...it's a problem when my parking costs more than my lattee. And Ide rather than money went to the business, not the city.
💲 Prices were reasonable for that part of the city with my latte and biscotti coming to about $9. But when you add in the parking cost, it comes out to about the same as the more expensive places.
