My friend and I tried Tru Pizza yesterday. While we are not GF our husbands are, so we are always on the lookout for gluten-free restaurant options. We ordered a meat lovers thin crust pizza, a veggie calzone and the GF elephant ear. Both the calzone and pizza were delicious. Ingredients were fresh, the crust was spot on, the sauce was a bit bland, but I personally like a pizza sauce with a bit of zing. While the elephant ear was tasty, it was served with vanilla frosting and powdered sugar. I was expecting the typical carnival sugar-cinnamony goodness. This would be a nice option to offer customers. It definitely had a different texture than a regular elephant ear, it reminded me more of a pastry, but was still yummy. We would definitely return. I am excited to try some of their other menu offerings; other pizza options and the gourmet french fries. While it wasn't filthy, I did think the bathroom could have been a tad tidier. I also had to wipe off our table as it had sauce and crumbs on it, but it is not going to hinder my return.

Sat down with the wife and kids within a couple hours after landing from AZ. Devin was a superb waiter and the rest of the staff we saw were so friendly. The cheese bread, loaded antipasto salad and pizza was amazing. The kids loved the Faygo and my wife had an amazing drink. Bells Two Hearted Ale on tap was magnificent, too. My wife said her gluten free Detroit Style pizza was the best she has ever had and I don't think it gets any better. Thank you Devin and staff!! We couldn't have had a better experience on night one!! #lgrw🐙🚨

We ordered carry out pizzas, but have also dined in many times. The online ordering is easy. They have a smaller size pie, so it can almost be a single serve. Their gluten free crust is good. Their regular crust is tasty. I love the options and often land on the capriciosa. They also have good salads and other Italian inspired items on their menu. Wood fired is great.

The food is absolutely incredible, as are the cocktails. The service is impeccable. They have gluten free options marked on the menu and the server took very good care of us.
