Very fine dining befitting its reputation and price.
My wife has celiac disease and they were able to accommodate nearly anything to be gluten free. Host and server were wonderful. All food was delicious. Plan to spend at least $50 a person.
As a Battle Creek local with a gluten sensitivity; and not the oh my tummy hurts a bit, and let me tell everyone how Im Gluten free, but a actually it trys to kill me and quick get me my epi pen! 🤣 finding a pizza place that caters to my dietary needs can be a challenge. Enter Pennfield Pizza—a true gem for gluten-free pizza lovers, and as my kids and wife teased me with the delicious-smelling “ normal “ 🍕 a master of that as well.
I tried their 10” gluten-free pizza. The crust was delightfully crispy on the outside and just soft enough on the inside, providing the perfect base for my favorite toppings. I went with a classic combo of sausage, onions, and green peppers, and each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors.
What impressed me most was their attention to dietary restrictions. While they note that their kitchen isn’t a certified gluten-free environment, they take precautions to minimize cross-contamination, which I greatly appreciate. It’s comforting to know they care about their customers’ health and well-being. As a business owner myself it's attention to the details that matter, and I take note of that.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish, and gave me the small town feel that I know and love and is also why we located our office in Pennfield as well. So whether you’re gluten-intolerant or just looking to try something new, I highly recommend giving their gluten-free pizza a shot. Your taste buds will thank you, and your community as well as its all our jobs to support our local establishments! 🇺🇸
I am celiac and their GF pizza was good and didn’t make me sick so yay!
Their GF pizza is okay, I’ve had better, but I’ve had worse. Their regular pizza I was told is VERY good, so my fiancé and family enjoyed their regular pizza very much. Service is good and staff is very nice. I’m glad they have a safe GF option.

Our first visit to Station 66 was wonderful! The owner was warm and friendly as she gave us a brief overview of the history of the space and made us feel welcome…She gave us food recommendations, and went above and beyond to make sure my wife, who is gluten free, had a delicious meal that fit her dietary requirements. I had a Chicago Dog that was outstanding and perfectly and accurately created, and my Wife had a bacon cheeseburger on gluten free bread, and it was some of the best gf bread ever! The ice cream was great, and the dozen house made donuts we took for the road were absolutely phenomenal! Don’t miss a chance to visit this gem, even if you don’t have food in, you will surely find something in their large selection of all Michigan made items to take home.
This place is very inviting and very clean I'm there every almost every Friday. They have great food and gluten-free food as well. I'm on the first name basis of the owner. He serves my whole family. This place is truly something better.
Stopped in for a late lunch. The sushi was delicious. Great quality and price point. Lots of unique special rolls to choose from. They also provided gluten-free soy sauce upon request.
I cannot say enough about Finley's! We had them cater our backyard wedding of 200+ and they were absolutely AMAZING! Did I mention it down poured during our food service and that the catering crew stuck it out and was still amazing despite all the rain and getting wet? Seriously cannot recommend anyone better. Was an extra bonus that the food was absolutely amazing and was super accommodating for people requiring gluten free, dairy free and special food allergies. If I every need Catering for another event it will for sure be these guys!
Culver's is always a great experience. I have an 8 year old autistic son who has issues with gluten. They have a gluten free hamburger bun that allow him to eat his favorite food, a hamburger. Beyond that the service is always great and the employees seem like they want to be there and enjoy their jobs.
I've been eating Subway everyday for a month. Because of a gluten and dairy allergy, I'm quite limited. They have been about all that I can eat. Here I come to Qdoba and I get tons more options of vegetables and protein including vegan. The food was off the chain. I probably got twice as much food than what I'm typically able to get at Subway because of the restrictions of my diet. Absolutely worth the trip and they can suit anyone's diet apparently because mine is terrible LOL. The price was also comparable because I spent the same amount and also ordered extra protein. Thanks Qdoba!
I LOVED this experience. I am gluten free, and the inclusion of gluten free cones, along with lots of gluten free ice cream options, made me feel extremely happy and included. This is the best ice cream experience I have ever had.
Awesome place. It's like a Subway, but with noodles. Pick you noodles, your broth and a protein (gluten free and vegetarian options available) then top it off with garnishes (and there are lots to choose from) and enjoy. It was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our experience greatly. Would recommend and will definitely go back...many times.
Un-professional and rude! We are gluten-free, it’s a food allergy and everywhere we go we made sure and to let the server knows or we don’t go in. We don’t eat processed food. The owner lady in her forty’s about 5’4’’ tall brown hair took our order and recommended the supreme and the McGoniles, which we can’t eat. How silly. We decided on the margaritas with three added ingredients; feta cheese, mushrooms & spinach. 15 minutes later she made a regular crust 16’ pizza then reassured us in a loud arguing voice that she is right after I let her know. I kept my mouth shut after that. I’m won’t eat there ever again. Didn’t offer to remake the pizza. Didn’t apologize. Bad resolution. The behavior is unprofessional. I am an easily agreeable person, super non-confrontational and don’t ever leave review unless it’s absurd and overly rude. This is the case. I just hope that she is more careful because food allergy causes severe gut problems and/or stomach pain. She didn’t give us a receipt but asked us for our receipt then abruptly threw a $20 bill saying the $20 is overcompensating us. I’m just want people to be more aware!
Went to my work holiday party here 12/1/23. I have celiac and have a special dietary needs. I told the staff and they went ABOVE and BEYOND for me to make sure I could eat safely. Thank you so much for helping make my evening safe and special!!!! I am very impressed.

I had the blackened mahi mahi with spinach and shrimp, and it was fantastic. I did have them leave off the cream and Sherry sauce since I do not easy dairy. I haven't had it made that well since canal inn closed 25 years ago. Cooked to perfection, seasoned just right and the wild rice on the side was yummy. This is also a gluten free meal. Arranged well on the plate. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. Meat is Cooked to order. Had a good flavor.
It was not my favorite pizza, but it was one of my top 10. I consider myself a kind of pizza connoisseur. We decided to drive out to dine in rather than order dominos again. I'm proud to say I'm not disappointed. We will definitely be taking the extra time to drive out again. The best part was they had a gluten free option for my son. That's so hard at most places and really makes me happy.
