I have a hard time finding gluten-free, dairy-free food. Ima Noodles checked all the boxes for me! Not only was it delicious but it was healthy and pleasing to the eye. One of my new favorite places!đ
Absolutely the best bakery for anyone with allergy restrictions or food intolerances. They are prepared to show the ingredients in every item. Try the cheesecake and cinnamon rolls!
Tried the brownie cake today and it was so good! 10/10 recommend! Everyone who tried it agreed and not everyone usually likes a gluten free dessert, so it won over a tough crowd! Lol. So excited to keep coming back and trying more things!
This place is amazing! My server Paulina was super nice and helpful! The drinks were great and the food was amazing. So cheap for food of such amazing quality, I will definitely be back! Also I noticed they had quite a few gluten free menu items!
WOW. Guys, you need to go here. The cinnamon rolls blew me away. And on a whim I got the cinnamon raisin loaf to take home â it was like a cinnamon roll in a loaf pan and Iâm so excited I can freeze it and have a slice whenever â it was a splurge but sooo worth the price, better than any cinnamon bread Iâve ever had â gluten or gluten free! Coffee was awesome too. So sad we live 400 miles away haha so if you live close, take advantage (and I will gladly have it shipped to me :)
We were blown away with the quality! Super delicious. TONS of gluten free options!! We got a gf charcuterie board and dip for ~$50, which I think is fair for the quality.
We have dined in many times and ordered take out. Lots and lots of gluten free options! I love getting the Caesar Salad with Crispy Tenders!! They have a dedicated gluten free fryer.
This is a great spot with a lot of options. Itâs hard to find gluten-free options in the UP, but they had gluten-free bread with vegan options. They made sure to ask what my dietary restrictions were so they could prepare the food separately. Highly recommend. There is a very fun book selection, too.
Frosty Boy was my go to spot for gluten free ice cream. I was extremely disappointed on my last visit. I asked for a gluten free cone and the employee told me she needed to check to make sure they had enough gf cones left. She told me they only had 1 more box but I could not order it because they were âsaving them for later customers.â She was rude and unaccommodating. What happened to a first-come first-serve policy?
We brought a challenge to Babycakes of creating a gluten, dairy, egg and processed sugar free cake for my wife's birthday. They experimented with a couple options and finally created a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting using local honey as the sweetener. It was delicious and a huge hit for the party. We were especially grateful because finding that kind of dessert is pretty rare around here and they were willing to expand on what they'd previously offered. So if you have something out of the norms for baked goods, they should be the first place you check out.
Great service and even better food! Food came out fast and was hot upon arrival. Good spot if you have a gluten intolerance/allergy, as they have gf buns and the fries are gluten free as well!
Actually, really good, gluten-free cookies. Gluten free bread is still Gluten free bread, but this is about the best I've had. Guys that run the bakery are super friendly. I can't rate the atmosphere as it's a store.
It was amazing here. It had those cozy, chill vibes where it felt like being in your own house I stead of being at a coffee shop. Staff was super friendly. Gluten free and dairy free pastries there.
Flint Crepe Company is a gem. Every crepe is made from scratch with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that you can actually taste. The coffee is top-notch sustainably grown in Costa Rica and roasted in-house. The menu is flexible and genuinely thoughtful, whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or a full-on carnivore. You can tell they care about quality and sustainability without compromising on flavor. Highly recommend.
I have celiac so finding a place that understands how to prepare GF foods is important. They were well educated, had several options, and everyone was so kind!
We had breakfast and coffee and it was delicious. Will definitely return again when in the area!
Thank you for doing gluten free right so that patrons can trust your food!
Went to Cooperâs Hawk for a date night with my wife. Our server, Paradise, was EXCEPTIONAL. She was extremely attentive and ensured our food was taken care of (we are gluten free). Kinga, the manager, ensured our experience was top notch and we never had to wait for anything. The food was fantastic as well. Based on our service, we will be back!
Thanks Paradise and Kinga for a great experience!
My wife has celiacs and had no problems with the gluten free menu, even got bread! Staff was great and food came out quick, would highly recommend going here.
Love this place, this has become our "go to"! Our family members that are local took us here when our daughter was transferring to U of M and we must go back every time I visit. They have yummy gluten free options too! Highly recommended!
Gluten Free & Handicap Accessible Review:
I've been to Leila multiple times & have always been very satisfied.
Food: The food quality and preparation is exceptional. The menu is marked with gluten free indicators, making it easy for myself (and the kitchen) to order. I have not ordered one item I haven't been happy with- definitely recommend sampling multiple dishes off the mezze menu.
Service: The service has been consistently good during my multiple visits. This last visit, I ate with a friend who utilizes a wheelchair for their mobility. I notified the restaurant when booking my reservation that we would need a handicap accessible table. Upon being taken to our table close to the doors, we noticed they already had the fourth chair of our table removed to make room for the wheelchair. We eat out all over metro Detroit and this is the first time the table has been properly prepared with the chair removed to make room for the wheelchair. Huge thank you to the team there for thinking ahead & making the seating experience seamless just by providing one simple accommodation. It may have seemed liked a small measure to the staff, but it was huge to our group. We will definitely be back!
Atmosphere was amazing, such a cool place. Unfortunately my filet was WAY overcooked, shells in the lobster bisque, and cocktails were all sickly sweet. Still a good experience but for such an amazing location I would hope for a better dining experience. Also some confusion about gluten free options which left me nervous as someone with Celiac but luckily I ate the filet, bisque, and Panna Cotta and was fine after.
Refreshing, authentic & quality food.
Weâll be regulars here when in town.
Definitely better then continental or regular classic breakfast.
The products are organic and produce are fresh.
They have gluten free options!!!

I have to eat gluten free and my waitress, Nicole, was able to recommend food and drinks for me that kept me safe while also appealing to the rest of my party so we were all able to have and share appetizers, shareables, main dishes, and dessert. Thank you for such a wonderful location to dine at, with wonderful staff like Nicole to expertly advise us on the best dishes and drinks for us all!
Great food Great Service Great atmosphere sat by fireplace. . Great options for people with Gluten Allergy! Will definitely be back. Had the Reuben Fries
Been living in the area for years and this place is amazing, I have eaten food from all over the US and outside the US and the quality of pestos food is on the top of my list! The shrimp bisque was amazing, creamy, lightly salted, and chunky! I had the Turkey BLT and didnât need a thing! My wife got the Gluten Free Salmon and she loved it, and my mother in law got the stroganoff, again was amazing. The desert are all home made and are cheap for the size and taste amazing. Everything about this place was great! Will probably be back tomorrowđ
Clydeâs is a must In Manistique. Service is great, food is great and you can tell they just pay attention to little details such as the way they fold your to-go bag so items will stay warm but let the moisture out so things stay crispy. Burgers and chicken tenders are awesome. They have dedicated gluten free fryer and know how to handle celiac due to the owner's daughter being celiac. She was also very sweet.
My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town for the weekend and decided to try this place out. Both of us really enjoyed our experiences the two times we came in. What genuinely makes this place 5-star worthy is the fact that thereâs MULTIPLE gluten-and-dairy-free bakery items. I visit lots of coffee shops and keep seeing that thereâs (typically) either a gf item, or a vegan item. Never both. The fact that Lemonjelloâs had not one or two, but five different bakery items for me to choose from that were freshly madeâ not the pre-packaged, overpriced options you see at other placesâ that won me over. I understand itâs hard to accommodate my two dietary restrictions simultaneously, but Lemonjello 100% executed, and itâs something I appreciate greatly. I tried the gf/df apple almond muffin and chocolate chip cookie one time and the gf/df berry muffin the next, all of which Iâd get again. My boyfriend and I also enjoyed our lattesâ as baristas, we were impressed with the staffâs skilled latte art, especially considering I got mine with oat milk. The atmosphere was totally fine. I could personally just go without the music playing as it seemed a little all over the place, and the tables are fairly close together, but itâs evident theyâre trying to utilize the space they have and provide as much indoor seating as possible for customers. Iâm looking forward to coming back to this coffee shop as itâs very accommodating and overall very pleasant.
I was on a short road trip to Northern Michigan and found this gem! My first visit was on the way up and the second visit was on my return home.
I am gluten free (celiacs) and they have an entire menu dedicated for us gluten free folks.
I had jambalaya, crawfish and corn chowder, and the shrimp boil over the two visits. Each meal included a gluten free jalapeño corn muffin. All food was delicious and I ate safely. No adverse reactions.
I had a cocktail on my first visit and a soda on the second. Cocktails were good.
Service also was very good. My friend and I sat at the bar both times.
I just love this place! The atmosphere is sexy yet casual. Great for a girls night out or family dinner. Valet available- Open table or CALL 1st for reservations- otherwise you may be turned away. Great selections - my favorite is the appetizers. Want to be wowed!? Try the Brussel Sprouts, new Salmon dip, and Country Rigatoni (gluten free with extra sauce) they prepare their own gluten free bread that is excellent too. Shaved Brussel salad and Wedge is also my favorite. I am a wine club member, I find the wines to be juicy - try the Blueberry AçaĂ! DESSERT- Key Lime hands down with the buttery crust!
Happy Hour $10 apps menu is a great value.
Got the gluten free crust for the Hawaiian with vegan chorizo. They clearly cooked it for the same amount of time as a regular pizza so the crust was quite burned, I was far too hungry to wait an additional twenty minutes for a remake. The pineapple bits were so tiny I couldn't really taste them. I've been wanting to come here for over a year now and I was so excited but the pizza was ultimately disappointing. However the bartenders were so wonderful, friendly and thorough.
