At first glance, the cafe is really lovely and unique, with pretty pictures, lots of plants and a very pleasing overall aesthetic, which made the experience extra nice. The service was amazing, the ladies who served me and my family were so kind, patient, vibrant, and accommodating. They were super quick to attend to us and made us feel super welcoming. When it came to ordering, they were super patient and understanding when they had to cater to some of our dietary requirements (being that some of us can’t have gluten or dairy), the variety of options available for people who are gluten free, dairy free, and/or vegan was great, as the majority of the menu had those options available. With that, they made it clear what we could and could not have considering those dietary requirements which we really appreciated since not all places we have gone to have clearly communicated that. When ordering they even went as far to let us know that the meal we were ordering was quite large and therefore suggested the smaller side dish than the one we chose, which was greatly appreciated when we eventually got our meals and realised we definitely wouldn’t have been able to finish everything had we gone with the bigger side. In terms of the food, it looked, smelt, and most importantly, tasted, incredible! We got the Vegan Nachos (which were also gluten free) with a side of Vegan Apple Slaw (like a coleslaw with apple) which we ended up adding to the nachos for an even better flavour. The vegan beef made from soy had a really nice texture and flavour, I didn’t even realise it wasn’t real beef until I was half finished, the mixture of beans, corn chips, guac etc. was perfect, and was a real delight to eat. Along with the overall taste of the whole meal, one thing I particularly loved was the vegan cheese that went with the nachos. While I’m not vegan, I am dairy free, so I have had various vegan cheeses, and unfortunately a lot of them are really unpleasant, because they often are way too strong, don’t melt or crisp like real cheese and sometimes straight up don’t even taste like real cheese. However the vegan cheese we had at this cafe was soooo good. It wasn’t too strong, it melted perfectly and crisped, it didn’t smell gross and it tasted just as good as real cheese. We actually liked it so much we asked one of the staff what kind of cheese it was, and lucky for us, they not only told us, but also informed us that they actually sell it too. So we of course bought some. Additionally, other people in my family had ordered a side of fries, which I tried, and I can say they too were super delicious. Light, crispy and flavoursome. Lastly, I had a drink before my meal, an almond milk chai latte (which doesn’t really seem to go with nachos now I think about it, but I got it anyway). This was also amazing. Super smooth, great flavour, smelt just as amazing as it tasted, and as a nice little bonus, it came in a really cute cup. Overall, I can say that my family and I truly loved everything about this cafe, and will 100% visit again. Thank you, Two-Bit Villains😊

A massive thank you for the wonderful service we received tonight for our daughter's 12th birthday celebration. The staff were extremely friendly, and made sure they provided us with everything we needed. We had two children who had gluten-free requirements, and the restaurant provided delicious options. It was especially lovely of the staff to prepare our birthday cake with candles, and then joined us in singing 'happy birthday' to our daughter! Overall, a great experience.

Really enjoyed my experience here ! This building had been a kiosk from 1925- 1990 , ( there was a brick outside that I read on the wall ) so it had an old feel overlaid by a modern makeover . Community has both indoor and outside seating- the inside was light and airy but this time my friend and I opted to sit in the open air . Coffee was Five senses with the Dark horse blend , which was quite pleasant, but our lovely sever Nick told us about their filter brew from Kenya and offered us some of that to try as well . I’m fast becoming a convert of filtered coffee as all the slight bitterness of the beans disappear- it’s very interesting to experience the difference. There was so much flavour in this brew and it was also slightly fruity, but not overwhelming so . They obviously know about coffee here ! Thank you Nick for your advice and recommendations! I had a basic poached eggs, with bacon and tomato on gluten free toast . The toast was round - quite unusual but it was quite nice ( much improvement on most gluten free offerings ) I also liked the addition of the salt and pepper grinders on the table - it refreshing to able to season to your own taste ! It was a simple breakfast, but everything was cooked well and was most enjoyable. The pastries looked good as well if you just want a light repast . A relaxing place to sit and watch the city traffic go by …. Definitely worth coming if you’re in the city .

Truly shocking experience. Attended with a group including a celiac vegan. Rang the day before to advise of dietaries out of courtesy, which were acknowledged upon arrival. First course included sourdough rolls, with a separate item for our guest which she double checked with the waitress was gluten free and was assured it was. After taking the first bite, the waitress rushed back with a substitute item, saying the first one wasn't gluten free after all. By this time our guest already had ulcers in her mouth in allergic reaction, which ruined her and our evening. The restaurant's response was simply to apologize and remove drinks from the bill and bring a plate of cookies, still charging our guest for her meal. Didn't follow up after to see if she was ok despite her physical reaction in the restaurant. Didn't respond to a voice mail I left asking to speak to the manager in the days following (will still take this call, if you're reading this). Generally arrogant attitude throughout the evening. Negligent and lacking accountability. Separately from the incident, we needed to share two plates of the main course between 5 people (was supposed to be a main between two), with the 3 course "degustation" for $95 leaving us all hungry and angry.
