I went here with two girlfriends and sat at the bar. We order the beans, the hummus with arugula and prosciutto and a gluten free crust pizza. All of it was spectacular. The pizza crust was a think crust - but texture and flavor were spot on!
The bean dish was out of this world and the sauce was excellent. Cocktails were also good and service impeccable. Highly recommend.
Amazing mexi food! The tacos were awesome and basically everything on the menu (besides dessert) is gluten free. We got a bunch of tacos to try and the guac, which was so flavorful and a decent portion size. Pork belly taco was the best imo, also so fun to try the fried fish (I was told it’s fried in rice flour/batter). Watermelon marg was delicious. They have outdoor seating, but it’s not the nicest views (street/parking lot) and indoors is a nice atmosphere, so I’d recommend going inside

Fantastic spot for interesting, creative food without breaking the bank. 1 drink and enough food we all left satisfied was only 120 bucks total for a table of 4. Our servers were fantastic and the kitchen and serving staff were very accommodating of my girlfriend's celiac concerns. Absolutely fantastic.
Always a great option for gluten-free Asian food! All GF options are listed on the menu! We had the chicken lettuce wraps, as well as the chicken and broccoli! It was delicious!

Some good options! Definitely caters towards allergies. Pancake wasn’t my favorite but everything else was good! Wait time was a lil crazy but great atmosphere! Would def recommend!
Homemade GF pasta and mozzarella sticks!!! Yes please!! My sister and I both have celiac and our waiter put us at ease right away, letting us know that the gluten-free food was prepared in a separate area. I did have my 10 year old niece with me. She was not as appreciative of the menu. There were not many options for her as a child.
Dedicated to gluten free. The afternoon tea set was just like when I went to London (before I had been diagnosed with celiac). Amazing! Expensive, but so so fun.
Great selection of gluten free treats. I was thrilled how much care the server took and my meal even had a little toothpick that said gluten free. So reassuring!
Food was delicious, server was kind and very accommodating of my friend who has celiac! She even marked up the menu with all the foods that she could and couldn’t eat to make it easier for her. We both got paellas and oh my god the portion is HUGE so if you are going with another person make sure to share it btw the two of you. Great dinner spot in the city
Candlepin is $30/5 pers/hr
Pizza are $16-$26+tax, salad is the only other option but there is gluten free dough. They natural and organic ingredients and sodas.
Environment is modern and cute.
Parking is pretty bad. 2h free until 8pm, then unlimited. There's a gym in the same block and a fancy parking garage.
Two guys working on Sunday afternoon. We walked in to a few folks at the bar and an empty set of tables. Didn’t look promising. We were pleasantly surprised from start to finish.
The after show rush filled up the place in 20 minutes and the place got busy! The guys were humping, but did a great job taking care of everyone we saw in the place, despite looking short handed.
Food was all good, solid pub fare. North shore roast beef took me back to Ipswich. The number of gluten free options was awesome to see.
Excelente!! Thank you Lulu Green staff for a warm welcome and service. We had huevos rojos, am acabo bowl, yuca fries and a chocolate cheesecake. Everything was delicious, especially the cake 🍰
Always happy to get vegan and gluten free well made food. Keep it up!
If I could give this 10 stars I would. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I have celiac and I need to eat fully gluten free and I felt safe here. They marked up their normal menu with all of the naturally gluten free items I could eat, which was about 80% of the menu including desserts. It was delicious and made even better by being allergen friendly.
They were incredible!! Food was so delicious and as a girl with a gluten and dairy allergy, I was truly blown away by how careful they were with my order. I wish I could go here every night
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Service was absolutely top notch, our server went above and beyond. I asked for cucumber for my Hendricks and tonic, he couldn’t find any so created a sad face with other garnish’s I could use for my drink. But he came through by finding me cucumber!
The food, oh so good! They brought out bread for my wife, I passed because I am gluten free and then the server said they had gf bread for me and got it from the warmer. The clam chowder my wife loved. And the mains, amazing! My wife had the crab and lobster ravioli and I had scallops with potato gratin. Both fantastic! If you are visiting Boston in the area it’s a must do!
Amazing customer service and amazing food. Hot pot is delicious and servers are the kindest people and are very patient with people who are new to hot pot. Also coming from someone with celiac very gluten free friendly, I was able to eat everything I wanted on the menu
Perfect place for great american food. It can get awfully loud especially if you aren’t sitting at the bar. Great place to please all types of eaters. Great place to bring your gluten free friends as well.
After a Red Sox loss and lack of gluten free buns at Fenway….we am so grateful to the staff here for being so welcoming to my son with his gluten allergy (celiac). Although most of their food contains gluten, they’re knowledgeable about cross contact and were very interested in helping us find something safe for him to eat. They have gluten free buns for burgers though they were a little crumbly for a kid, I think adult would be fine and my son was hungry enough that he didn’t complain. He had a burger which they cooked separate and also cooked up sliced potatoes on a separate pan. The wings were safe to eat too! The best part was that everyone seemed very eager to help us vs annoyed by the accommodations. The non gluten free food for the rest of the family was delicious too and the drinks and atmosphere were great! Thank you so much!!!
Really great experience at Yellow Door Taqueria, conveniently by the Ink Block development. They have lots of outdoor tables, bookable on OpenTable, including some under the overhang (for minor drizzle protection) but still fully open-air.
Food was delicious and fairly priced, and service was excellent. I listed out all my food allergies and Raffy handled me with aplomb – making me confident in and happy with all the food I got! There's a dedicated gluten-free frier for the chips but it does have seafood cooked in it, so they were kind enough to bring me some cute sliced corn tortillas to have with their delicious house-made guacamole for an appetizer.
I can highly recommend the birria tacos (pan-fried and cheesy with excellent barbacoa) and chicken tinga taco (delicious on the plain, house-made corn tortilla). Rice and beans were ok – beans dramatically lardy and rice a little mushy, but ok. The kitchen was thoughtful enough to sub the 'avocado frito' on the chicken tinga for some plain avocado for me.
Overall, an excellent experience for delicious tacos, with great outdoor dining and good care for my dietary restrictions.
$60 subtotal for a party of two with chips and guacamole and 2-3 hearty tacos and sides but no drinks; more like $90 for two with drinks.
I’m so happy this place is in our neighborhood! I most recently ate here for dinner with two adults and a toddler.
Highlights:
- The restaurant team were great — kind, present, but not pushy
- they are very kid-friendly — they got us set up right away with a high chair, and the mac and cheese on the kids menu was great by kid and adult standards
- the tonkatsu sandwich was great
- delicious fries
- really nicely done scallops (crispy on the top and bottom, creamy in the middle)
- gluten free, vegan brownie — fudgey and a great end to the meal
I’ve been there a couple times and this most recent visit (Feb 2024) was the best in terms of food. I think their menu is getting more creative and consistent. I was underwhelmed by the steamed veggies that came with the scallops, but that’s my only critique of this visit!
I'm a huge fan of any place that makes being a glutentard easy! This place is one of them! They have a little bit of everything without that horrible protein! I had the offal and the half chicken. The offal was great and so was the chicken. However, I would wait another few week or so before I return and get the chicken again as it was covered in butter, served with buttered Brussels sprouts, with a butter sauce. They also have a great selection of whiskeys!! Definitely go try this place out!
