Having visited this establishment on several occasions, I have consistently found the food to be delightful. My nephew and I often encounter challenges in locating dining options that cater to our dietary needs, as he has a gluten allergy and I have a dairy allergy. However, the staff here have always been incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. The food is consistently served promptly and prepared to perfection. I would certainly recommend this place for a quick and enjoyable meal.
Great selection of gluten free treats. I was thrilled how much care the server took and my meal even had a little toothpick that said gluten free. So reassuring!

My husband thought the seared seafood scallops was amazing. I was really looking forward to gluten free dishes I can't have all the time. However, I thought the gluten free mac and cheese was less than desirable. The noodles were not quite done, the cheese was melted in and that was it. No spices or creamieness to the dish. Lobster is always good. I'm sad that I paid $38 for that dish. My son had a good burger with a gf bun.
I recently dined at Boston Ale House and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, offering a diverse range of options, including impressive gluten-free choices. The ambience was welcoming and enhanced the overall dining atmosphere. A special shoutout to our waitress, Juliana, whose exceptional service and attentiveness added to the enjoyment of our evening. Highly recommend this place for a satisfying dining experience.
We eat here two days for breakfast. Lovely food and great atmosphere..my son is Gluten free and had a good choice in food..thank you. and all your staff ..
This place was amazing especially for people with gluten and dairy allergies. It's like a Chipotle styled home-cooked meal is the best way I could describe it. Staff is friendly food is great overall and awesome take out spot.
Coming from Chicago, we've been struggling to find a proper brunch experience in the Boston area (meaning elevated breakfast dishes, with interesting ingredients that are both delicious and well made). The search is over! This place is excellent with great food, a marvelous atmosphere and great service. Plan for reservations, though, as this place is popular! They also did a phenomenal job accommodating gluten free with a lot of care for cross contamination.
Stopped in on a Saturday night, expecting it would be packed. It was, but we were still seated very quickly. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff was friendly. Despite several large parties seated near us, our food was also brought out quickly. Since we were going to a show after at the House of Blues, it was an added bonus that they had tablets to check out with on the table. Convenient walk to the House of Blues from Yard House. Normally, eating out without plans to head directly home is a risk for me (gluten sensitivity). Food from Yard House was fresh, had a ton of flavor, and the BBQ chicken Salad gave me no stomach unrest at all. I will likely make this a regular stop when I go to shows.
Went here for a lunch-dinner date after a hospital appointment and got steak to celebrate some good health. It was so good! Shoutout to the dedicated gluten free menu, which was very helpful. It’s not cheap — if you order apps and mains you’ll find yourself racking up a bill. I split an app (the gf buffalo cauliflower for $16 I believe) with my boyfriend and we each got an entree and a drink and the bill was about $100 after tip. But damn was that steak good
If I could give this 10 stars I would. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I have celiac and I need to eat fully gluten free and I felt safe here. They marked up their normal menu with all of the naturally gluten free items I could eat, which was about 80% of the menu including desserts. It was delicious and made even better by being allergen friendly.
Our server was amazing, super sweet and accommodating to our party with gluten allergies and beyond efficient and knowledgeable…will definitely be back and will definitely request to sit in Tess section again!
The food was food except they need to be schooled on how to make beans. The beans tasted like they came out of a can. Not saying that's terrible but coming from the Midwest and being a BBQ country, beans also have to be on point. They can't be an after thought. 😁 Other than that, the burgers we had were great. Their homemade chips were good. They were able to accommodate my gluten intolerance needs. Service was excellent.
Perfect place for great american food. It can get awfully loud especially if you aren’t sitting at the bar. Great place to please all types of eaters. Great place to bring your gluten free friends as well.
the staff here is so nice and funny- food was amazing and so well priced. my gf got three tacos for $9 and i got a bowl for $12 i think. amazing!!

A fun place to have dinner with nice ambiance. We really enjoyed listening to the good live jazz band. The Gluten free fish and chips were delicious and the fryer was celiac safe. Our waitress was attentive and helpful when asked about the gf menu.
Lots to like about this eatery. Loved sitting at table by open window. They are gluten allergy aware and the food was good with the exception of the gluten free bun. They need to explore other vendor options. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Dig is a great fast casual option if you’re looking for food that’s isn’t super processed and filled with veggies! As a gluten free person, I feel good eating here and appreciate their attention to detail. The workers are also the friendliest and always brighten my day!
The Westland had great service, a nice festive atmosphere, and decent food for a no frills brunch. Chose to go here for given the cozy and festive decor that was perfect to catch up with friends just after the new year. The food was nothing too fancy and decent overall. Seems like a few dishes can be hit or miss, e.g. the cinnamon bun was a bit over toasted and not great. Might have been a mistake with the one. One of the best gluten free buns I've had dining out and had no issues with gluten exposure.

Living in the South End all my life, I’ve been blessed with so many unique restaurants nearby. We even have a seafood boil restaurant! Bootleg Special’s seafood boil is amazing and the garlic noodle is a must! The drinks are super fun and the vibe, NOLA speakeasy. Love it.
Yesterday was the first time I stopped by for brunch and it has to be Boston’s best brunch spot! It is great for dates, girls outing, friends and family gatherings. Let’s just say it can accommodate any occasion because it’s such a fun and unique experience.
I really enjoyed their brunch menu which include soufflé pancakes, bootleg Benedict, and brunch garlic noodles. They also have MANY gluten free options.
I’ve also tried their newly launched menu item, the ConeNado and my favorite was the lobster clam chowder! Super fun and delicious!
This is a must visit!
Sully’s never disappoints. Been coming here for 50 years and it’s always great. Fast service, good food, good prices, friendly staff. Sully’s has expanded its menu over the years and there should be something for everyone. I’m so happy they have included GF rolls and ice cream cones. My grandson has Celiac disease and now he can once again enjoy our trips to Castle Island and “ Sully’s” They provide everything you can ask for plus a great setting. Great place to walk, fly a kite, let kids use the playground, etc. The area offers great views and scenery. One of Boston’s true treasures. Very little has changed over the years and that in this case is a good thing.
We absolutely love this place!!! My daughter and I are both gluten free and this is our first stop when we land in Boston!!! The gluten free pickles… are to die for! They have many options for other things as well however these are our favorite! We have had the gf Nashville hot sandwich on gf bun… the bayou pasta that’s gf… and so many more!! They are all fabulous!! They also have sweet potato fries which are the bees knees! Enjoy!!
With one burger being amazing and the other bad, it was a weird review to write. I went during lunch and things came out of the kitchen pretty quickly.
So I had one burger that was really amazing though missing ingredients, no caramelized onion- the Justin's Burger. The pimento cheese was shockingly good. Order it if you go. They had gluten free buns which is a huge plus in my book.
Then another burger was bad, the Mushroom burger that was bad and made my mouth itch, and only had a sprinkling of ingredients in one bite of the entire burger, again onions.
They use canola to fry so I didn't get tots, which was a bummer. It causes extra inflammation in the body, and because I was already eating a not super healthy meal, I decided to not push it.
Staff also did this weird thing where this guy went to go get information about something for me because I am in the allergy club, a different guy came up in his stead, then the original guy came back. They are not the same height and didn't really look alike. I let it go because I thought maybe they wanted to make sure there was no delays in help but neither acknowledged it. You can see and hear the kitchen staff, so they might want to be more mindful of trash talk. Especially regarding any patrons. There is no wall and we can hear you.
I loved that they gave me a cup to get water and the water from their soda machine actually tasted like normal water, no remnants of soap or soda. I was siked.
They have bar seating to the right, and to the left a row of tables. Many people sat inside to eat, but I took my food to go, and it remained warm by the time I got back, which was a nice plus.
Since I loved one and did not like the other at all, not sure what to say about the Roxy's in Cambridge.
I have a gluten allergy and my fiancee does not. This is a great compromise because she can get all her sandwich and pasta fixings and I can grab a very tasty Gluten free alternative! Gfree buns and pizza crust. Missing fifth star because it is sometimes hard to find seating.
Sat at the bar, was a pretty slow Monday evening so service was quick. Bartender was very friendly. Ordered a gluten free pizza and some drinks. GF dough is marked, not sure about other GF items(have to ask). Overall it was tasty! Just know that (personally) 1 GF pizza is enough for one person. If it’s more than one person I’d recommend getting one each. Delicious nonetheless! Would go again
Haven’t shut up about it since I left, hopefully you can track my servers name from my reservation because I don’t remember what it was, but he was phenomenal. From personality to service he was exquisite. The branzino was phenomenal and my date had the Lemon Ricotta Ravioli which she enjoyed. The gluten free options were delightful, including the Creme Brûlée which was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful night. It was a great spot for a first date. I may not know for sure if “we’ll” be back, but I know “I” sure will be.

This place had plenty of options that are made gluten-free. The cocktails and dessert were great. We had the tea service!!
Dear Sonsie, you’ve never let me down but today was a bummer. My mother has a severe celiac allergy, highly highly sensitive to gluten. As in she will end up in the hospital if she has contaminated food. This was explained to the waitress. It was clear the waitress didn’t fully understand because she asked if my mom wanted to sub in wheat toast. She cannot eat bread period. None the less we saw she made a note about the gluten allergy and submitted the food. Her meal came out with toast on the eggs. We grabbed the food runner and told them we said very clearly no toast. He went back to the kitchen and they came out less than two minutes later with the meal minus toast which showed it was clear they just pulled the toast off. This is unacceptable. You could have put her in the hospital. When we sent the food back it then came with a side salad instead of the potatoes because they said those had gluten. So not only did you put toast on her meal but you were going to serve her contaminated potatoes until you were heavily challenged, twice. I don’t blame the waitress. I blame management and hold management accountable. You put her health at risk and what’s worse is the waitress said the manager would comp the meal, they didn’t not, and the manager NEVER came over to acknowledge anything. Issues rot at the top. It rots with management not training staff. Honestly cannot come back after this and I would warn anyone with a celiac/gluten allergy to stay away. This was scary.
Chili was mostly tomatoes and peppers. Caprese sandwich was good, but soggy. Mediocre GF bread. GF macaroon was good, sugary, and right next to the gluten brownies.
The service was not good as our server was unfriendly and tried to push the more expensive items on us. It was also very slow and the food was overpriced for the quality. One person in our group could not have gluten which was voiced to the server ahead of ordering. We were then served food with gluten unbeknown to us and only told by the restaurant after it was eaten that it did in fact have gluten in it.

Super cute, historic tavern. Really really music which isn’t my favorite but other than that, the food, drinks and service were great. We got gluten free chicken tenders, which were good. They do not have a separate fryer just fyi.

Clam chowder was good and it was gluten free. Service was slow. Glad we had a long layover. They took a long time to come take our order. Didn't even refill our water.
We hosted a jack & jill baby shower for our daughter and son-in-law on Cunard Tavern's roof deck. Ours was the first roof event this 2025 season. The weather was great, food & drinks fantastic, and service top notch. You couldn't ask for a better venue for a small private party (we had 30ish people but their capacity is a bit more). Emily and John met us in advance of the party to talk about the set-up and food options. I could go on and on how good the food was (stand outs were the mortadella boa buns, shrimp cocktail, Mexican street corn, brussels and the freshest veggie crudité than I've seen in a long time... but there was so much more good food in addition to these!). Emily staged the food so that the buffet-style table was constantly replenished with more food and options. Our daughter is a vegetarian (and a few guests are gluten/dairy/nut free) and the staff were incredibly conscientious with these concerns. The bar is just as awesome... they have a roll-up window so your guests are not waiting on drink service as it is "manned" full time for your event. Sam did a wonderful job, and my guests loved their beverages (both alcohol-based and mocktails). Finally, the view from the roof is beautiful as you can see the water from their location. We chose to use the retractable awning because the weather was hot and sunny in the afternoon, but you can certainly go without for a night time event. Finally, this venue is one block from Tall Ship so it's easy to keep the party going:)
Our food was pretty good. We were there for brunch, options are limited for us gluten free folks. Both bacon and potatoes aren't safe. That being said, our server did a great job communicating with me how they could adjust to make my meal safe! Espresso martinis were boozy and delicious!
Food was incredible.
Service was fast.
All good was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. Drinks were on point and our server was so kind and hospitable. Bonus- gluten free!
Best meal I have had in a long time and a must stop if I’m the area or staying at the Collonade Boston!
Lovely brunch. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend the grilled banana bread with maple-Orange butter. And the chicken benedict. Very accommodating for gluten free too. Skip the latte that has cardamom.
