I’d avoid the GF bun it’s very dry and crumbly but they the most celiac safe place I know! Dedicated fryers, very knowledgeable staff and amazing GF fried chicken! When you order online they even have a celiac option to check off.

Really nice place to relax with a few drinks. Didn't have any food as we had just come from a café but we did get a flight and oh my god. I need to go back to get more if that blueberry basil. Until I do it will stay in my dreams, Highly recommend checking it out. They had indoor outdoor seating. Their menu had things marked as Gluten Free although since we didn't order im not sure if they have a designated fryer or not. Thankyou for the wonderful service staff, you were all so nice 😊

Came here with my girlfriend for lunch and Jody was absolutely wonderful. Treated us with so much kindness and had so much patience for my gluten free diet. Above all, her energy was magnetic - she was an absolute pleasure. I would come back just because of her!

Pretty good portion on the dosas if you get their Dosa of the day. I like the lamb on Tuesdays. Pretty fast at in-between times (non-dinner time) when they are quite empty. The dosa is probably gluten-friendly but you might want to ask if other ingredients inside it are gluten-friendly too.

Tom was amazing. I have celiac disease and he answered all my questions, advised me what to avoid and double checked with the chef to make sure every thing was safe. Felt very comfortable eating here, will definitely go back. Great service and great food

Not celiac safe like they say they are. Had a very bad reaction after eating here. The manager is also rude and condescending. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. One of the lower scores restaurants in the area, lower than old spaghetti factory and that’s saying a lot!

One of the healthiest delicious middle eastern food I have had in a while! I was a bit hesitant to visit due to mixed reviews here and I am so happy I listened to my instincts and visited this gem of a restaurant today. The service and food was beyond incredible! The restaurant is so cozy and spacious. Ample street parking available and my sister has celiac allergy for diary and gluten, so we were also able to get customized food based on her restrictions.

I’ve always loved coming here. Today was probably my 6th-8th visit, and I can say with confidence that Hello Nori is very consistent. The yellowtail hand roll with Shiso leaf added is my favourite. The by the glass sake options are great and they all pair well with the rolls. Lisa was my server today and she was excellent. She checked in lots and made sure that the chef was aware of my gluten intolerance. Gold star for Hello Nori, I will be back!

Great place for those with celiac disease or a gluten allergy. I received GF bread and many of the dishes are or can be made GF. They have GF appetizers, pasta, risotto and GF dessert. The service was great.

Have been missing Red Robins since they closed all their Alberta locations! If you have any food restrictions, don't look at their allergen menu online, just ask your server. I have celiac and it was showing almost everything to have gluten, even the beef burger patties. Luckily that was not the actual case! Server was knowledgeable about what sauces and ingredients had gluten, and shared that fries can be made in a dedicated gluten free fryer. My meal also came out with the purple allergen stick. I do however have to take stars off for the physical aspects of the location...menu had several sticky spots, carpet looked filthy and sticky, bathroom floors were even stickier! Very unappealing and makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. We were in a booth and the back of the seat would move from both sides, uncomfortable when people are sitting on both sides and it kept moving! Service was also quite slow, especially considering it was lunchtime on a weekday and there were not many other customers present

First time here was a great experience. Nice atmosphere and window views, wonderful service from Kurtis, menu has a great selection of food, the burgers are really good, as well as the prawn laksa curry and chipotle mango chicken, some nice gluten free options! I hope one day they can have a gluten conscious option for the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni because it’s the best pasta of all time. They also have happy hour on a Friday night! Can’t wait to come back!

Had a lovely dinner for my friend’s birthday. Booking with OpenTable was easy and we chose the Granville Island location as parking is relatively easy, compared to Dntn. The food and flavours were good and the service was wonderful. The hostess double checked our seating request and offered us an alternate seat upstairs, by a window - it was amazing to enjoy the sunshine during our meal. Our Waiter was also friendly, and knowledgeable, with good recommendations. My friend is gluten-free and our Waiter made sure our orders were compliant… The food rolled out at a good pace and our Waiter checked in on us the perfect level. We were very happy with our Waiter. We shared the Shrimp Cocktail, Scallops + Bacon and the Crème Brûlée. We both had the French Onion Ribeye from the Keg 50 menu. My side was the Iceberg Wedge with Blue Cheese dressing - it’s my favourite!!! We both enjoyed our meal and experience. We’ll be back and highly recommend.

Visited Brewhall on Sunday with a group of 12, and we had a fantastic experience. The beer selection was excellent, including gluten-free options for both beer and food. The atmosphere was great, with high ceilings, clean washrooms, arcade games, and a fun photo booth. The outdoor seating added to the overall vibe, making it an ideal spot for larger groups or gatherings. Highly recommend!

I am following up from my previous review that I had left a few weeks ago. Despite having a negative experience, the staff at Browns Crafthouse went above and beyond to make sure that my friends and I had a good experience to make up for what had initially happened. The manager Matt reached out and was very kind and generous, and offered to make the experience better for us. They accommodated drinks and many appetizers for our large group, and were super sweet the entire time. I cannot remember our servers name, but she was a tall caucasian woman. She provided excellent service and took my friend's gluten allergy very seriously. It was some of the best customer experiences I had. Matt himself had come out and greeted us, apologized for the previous experience, and made sure we had a great time. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience, and it was really appreciated!

This was my first time at Earls and the service was absolutely incredible. Our server was attentive, helpful and took good care of my gluten intolerance. The food was very tasty but the amount of salt was too much. My daughter and I had to drink many glasses of water during dinner and later.

My party of 6 was desperate for food after travelling from Tacoma. The hostess was amazing and was able to squeeze us in at 6pm on Boxing Day. Our server Vinse was an absolute legend in helping us out and ensuring my gluten-intolerant family were kept safe from any gluten. Thank you. Food was great! Poutine was fantastic, they took great care of the lobster mac and cheese, our risotto balls, the jambalaya, the salmon, and the burger. Great Smoked Salmon Benedict for brunch. The coffee wasn't the best but they were able to accommodate gluten-free options. Substitute bread for more potatoes but they can't guarantee cross contamination it seemed like so if you are severely celiac just consider that.

This coffeehouse offers a wide range of options, including: - Pastries - Sandwiches - Breakfast dishes - Vegetarian/Gluten-free options - Cocktails, beer, and wine I've visited Caffe Cittadella multiple times, and it's become one of my favorite spots in the area. I've consistently enjoyed my experiences here. On my latest visit, I tried the Spinach Feta Cheese Pastry, paired with a hot chocolate. I requested a caffeine-free and low-sugar drink, and the staff made it perfectly to my liking. I highly recommend Espresso Bar & Bistro for its cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and accommodating staff.

Had a lovely dinner here on a Saturday night. Food and service was both incredible, especially the chicken of the sea. Lots of brunch options! Ordered the seafood Benny (one with crab cakes the other with smoked salmon) and shared the gluten free spanakopita and both were delicious! We were a larger group and everyone enjoyed their meal and drinks! Service was prompt and the music was perfect for brunch - funky and fun but not too loud. Definitely will return!

We often pop in to chit chat burger bar since they have gluten free substitutions. I really like their chit chat burger with the fried egg and zucchini. Burgers are moist and my sister likes the GF bun they use. She claims it’s the best GF burger she’s had. Service is very friendly and prompt to seat you but a bit inattentive, they tend to not refill water etc. That being said, it’s a great place to sit and socialize since they have flexible seating options, the atmosphere is nice, and they don’t rush you out (in my experience they’ve never even initiated getting the bill). Garlic fries were okay, not worth $3 more than the regular fries IMO. Mixed info on the frier for GF, one server said it’s a separate fryer for the fries and another server informed us that they have no separate GF fryer, so I wouldn’t order fried items if gluten cross contamination is a concern. #ContestEntry for shopdtvan

For a fast food restaurant, it is excellent!!! Everything is so fresh and deliciously made! My new go to place on Granville Street. You get to choose your own burrito or salad. They don’t have gluten free tortilla however you can get a bowl.

Step back in time to 2007 with this restaurant! Stopped in here after a few other places up Main, haven't been there in a good 15 years. Well, I feel like I went back in time, and not in a good way. Don't order the gluten free, it was just Costco gluten free bread in place of flatbread etc, no flavour or love. Not quite sure how it's still kicking when so many others have gone under in the area. Drinks and service was good, but food left a little to be desired.

Came here for my anniversary but the server did not take our allergies seriously and kept trying to push items that didn’t fit our dietary restrictions, worst of all they gave me the wrong main that had gluten in it and I’m celiac. The servers attitude was also quite pushy and giving I know better than you and acted like he knew what was gluten free and what wasn’t even tho the items that are gluten free are labeled on the menu. The server was pushing one item so hard we asked him three times to check with the kitchen if it was gluten free or not because he said it was and after we pushed him to check he came back and said yeah it’s not gluten free. The only nice thing about this place was the view but throughout the dinner I kept contemplating throwing the dishes and cutlery over the patio and into the water because of how frustrated I was with them

Big shout out to the staff at Heritage Asian Eatery! We attended an event there this weekend, and were wowed by the ambiance, the food, and the hospitality of the staff. Our friends couldn’t get enough of the veggie spring rolls, the salt & pepper prawns, and the prawn toast! Also a note- I had two delicious gluten free dishes, and was very thankful to the staff for going out of their way to accommodate & provide a safe option!
