Really wonderful and delicious family-run restaurant. The owner has a deep knowledge of the history of Vancouver and it was a pleasure learning from him about his experience establishing a restaurant over 40 years ago! Also some of the best Naan and butter chicken I've ever eaten! My brother is celiac and we were impressed by the gluten-free options and how seriously they took his dietary restrictions. Then they even gifted my daughter a lassi to take home with her! We will be going back soon!

Such a great experience! So many vegan and gluten-free options. Highly recommended! Still 5 star but it's a bit overpriced.

Pretty good portion on the dosas if you get their Dosa of the day. I like the lamb on Tuesdays. Pretty fast at in-between times (non-dinner time) when they are quite empty. The dosa is probably gluten-friendly but you might want to ask if other ingredients inside it are gluten-friendly too.

Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food was lovely. We had two young kids and didn’t feel awkward in the slightest. They were so kind and even brought them a dessert on the house! Also loved that the menu specifically labeled which items were dairy free and gluten free (there were a lot of options) which made ordering very seamless. They had missi roti too! Food wasn’t oily. We’re visiting Vancouver, but next time we come, I’d return in a heartbeat!
