I wish I could afford to shop there more. One small handbasket of groceries cost me $100. It's not much more than average for groceries but the specialty items often have less quantity so it can hurt the pocketbook. They also have great sales, clearance racks and a rewards program. Plus it's a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere which makes it worth the extra $ because it's safer than being in a busy, crowded place.

Well, I like their pizzas but this is disappointing: I couldn't get them on the phone so I ordered online, and made sure to leave my phone number just in case. Only when I picked up the pizzas I learned they were out of gluten free dough (and I had to ask) and basically just substituted to non gluten free (quite the inconvenience for my celiac friend, it's not like we requested it for fun). They didn't even ask me if I would prefer a refund and not get a pizza I basically did not order. Probably a good place to eat at, but they need to figure out their online ordering system or answer the phone, and just stop offering it if they can't get it together... I want to be considerate of how hard it is to run a restaurant, but this didn't feel great.

Flower Child is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I first tried it in Las Vegas, so I was excited when I heard there was one coming to SLC! The vibes are always wonderful, and I haven’t had anything bad on the menu. My go to is the Mother Earth bowl and I add steak or chicken and it is so good every time. I will say, for the price, the portions aren’t very large, but I still am satisfied afterwards and I don’t feel weighed down by my meal at all. They have the best gluten free Mac and cheese (even if you don’t need to eat gluten free, I would still 100% recommend it!), and the best chili glazed sweet potatoes. They have new items on the menu frequently, so I love going and trying new things.

I initially chose this place because it is wheelchair accessible. It did not disappoint. It is a lovely and spacious cafe. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Coffee is great! I wish they had a slightly larger baked good selection but they did have a gluten free and vegan option. And what we had was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

I have tried their Philly cheesesteak, The Hawaiian, BBQ chicken and ranch chicken without going to the hospital (which happens when I’m contaminated). We love Ekamai. Very friendly for gluten-free eating - we love that they are so fluent in this and can make almost anything on the menu gf. In addition, the staff is friendly, the service is great, the food is good, the portions and prices are very good. It's casual - nothing fancy, but a nice place to eat. In addition there is an outdoor patio & they even let our dog sit with us during dinner on the patio one evening. We're pretty loyal to Ekamai for Thai food in Salt Lake.

They were having g trivia night on Thursday when I was there and it looked/sounded like a lot of fun (I didn’t play). Must be 21 to enter. They have a full vegan menu too!
