I love the natural grocer. They have such a wonderful selection of gluten free and vegan treats and snacks. I can't find most of the items they stock anywhere else.
Their produce is top notch, good quality and very fresh. Their stock of certain items has diminished due to supply issues but is otherwise still my favorite store. I wish I could afford to shop there more. One small handbasket of groceries cost me $100. It's not much more than average for groceries but the specialty items often have less quantity so it can hurt the pocketbook. They also have great sales, clearance racks and a rewards program. Plus it's a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere which makes it worth the extra $ because it's safer than being in a busy, crowded place.
Wow! I can’t believe how good this place is.
Lots of gluten free options that my wife absolutely loves. I will be back again so soon even though we live in Texas.
Not your typical dessert, but so delicious! It’s so fluffy, and they don’t skip out on the mix-ins. I was so thrilled to find out they have gluten free options (I got the Cadillac OG). Highly recommend!
The quintessential hipster coffee shop experience. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere with lots of people, but not over-the-top crowded. Lots of options for lots of different types of people. Several gluten-free options, which was a nice surprise.
I ordered gluten friendly pizza and got a burnt round cracker that had toppings on 2/3 of each slice. I was starving (just got into my hotel from the airport) so I ate it but was pretty disappointed.
I was visiting from Seattle and went to SOMI. We were seated quickly. Our server wasn't the warmest, but she did her job and got us served. There was a really nice server at the table across from us and he was very friendly and even said hello to us with a big smile, so he made up for that. SOMI offered gluten free choices, so we started with the Crispy Spring Rolls and they were delicious. My daughter and I had the Grass Fed Wagyu Pho (GF) and my son-in-law had one with the meatballs and other meats in it. The broth was nice. The portions of meat and noodles were smaller than the Pho restaurants in Seattle, but it was enough. The ingredients were fresh. The garnish plate didn't have a lot of sprouts, basil, etc. to split between 3 people and there was only one lime on the plate, but I'm sure we could have asked for more. Taking a look around, everyone seemed content, the large parties were being served well and the restaurant was almost full. Our meal hit the spot. It wasn't overly loud, so we could hear one another speak. We were in and out quickly. I'll probably not be in Salt Lake City any time soon, but if I were, I'd eat there again.
Been going to this tsunami location for over 20 years. The quality has always been top notch. I'm also a mom with the Celiac kid, so tsunami is always been a safe place for us to enjoy dinner together.
Pizza is nothing special. They have a vegetarian combo pizza which we appreciated, but lacked flavor. They also have gluten-free crust and even dairy free cheeses! Tons of options for dietary restrictions, but not great flavors.
The food, service & atmosphere of any of their stores was always great! I'm sad to learn about their closing 😞 this was one of the first places me & my best friend had found that served gluten free options for people with celiac's disease before 'gluten free' became a popular thing among the public
Such a cool spot! The food and margaritas were DELICIOUS. Excellent service and we will be back for sure! Definitely recommend the burrito bowl if you're gluten free, it was amazing. Another must try is the pineapple, jalapeño margarita. My family loved the burritos, chips and salsa, and sodas.
On the positive, customer service was fantastic, and the food even tasted good. And don't get me started on the garlic cheese rules they are legendary! The reasoning for 3 stars is there poor gluten free menus and the fact they are over priced. 3 people for lunch 115$
We love Ekamai. Very friendly for gluten-free eating - we love that they are so fluent in this and can make almost anything on the menu gf. In addition, the staff is friendly, the service is great, the food is good, the portions and prices are very good. It's casual - nothing fancy, but a nice place to eat. In addition there is an outdoor patio & they even let our dog sit with us during dinner on the patio one evening. We're pretty loyal to Ekamai for Thai food in Salt Lake.
Super good Pho and a cool, friendly group of people that work there. Seems to be a locals spot for good Vietnamese food. All of the Pho is Gluten Free they said. I'm sure even more is but I wasn't asking for anything else.
Sooo good!!! Theee best tasting Gluten-free bun available on the best burger I've had in 10 years!!! Gf fries cooked in a dedicated fryer. Lavender lemonade, violet cheesecake..... yummeeeeeeee
Yellowfinn is a Sugar House gem serving exquisite Japanese food in an environment that exudes major neighborhood pub energy. I don't recall ever feeling more at home or authentically welcomed to a place on my first visit.
The menu is about 80% gluten free, so it makes it easy for diners with those issues.
I recommend the hamachi nigiri, Utah roll and tempura banana for dessert. The creamesicle saketini is perfect.
This is a place you need to try.
Just ate here for the first time. Grabbed a couple of juices next door and my girlfriend suggested we pop in. Owner took our order and was super helpful. I couldn’t decide between the two pastry empanadas so he brought out the second one free of charge. My girlfriend is also gluten intolerant and the owner made her two special gluten free empanadas. 10/10 service and amazing flavors. We’ll definitely be back!!
The best gluten free dessert ever! Always fresh and decadent, I love The Favorite strawberry waffle with crème fresh. Todays offering was a feast for the eyes and taste buds🍓
This restaurant is AMAZING! Their signature cocktails are one of a kind, won’t find anything like them anywhere else! The food is to die for! They have so many options for everyone as far as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, & non fish eaters! The atmosphere is on 10, & the location is beautiful. I’d recommend Jalapeno Hamachi, & Walu Ceviche for tapas. Saturn and Nebula for sushi rolls! You won’t be disappointed!!!
Chicken is so bland!! Flavorless really. The only thing that’s tasty is the rice and the pickled onions. The flavored punches are not too sweet, which is nice. I do appreciate the gluten free options as well.
Burger 3/5
I got the wagyu burger. The patty was small and unseasoned. The meat didn’t taste any better than a regular patty. Enjoyed the fried egg add on and the fresh toppings.
Variety 5/5
Appreciate they offer gluten free buns. Condiments are free.
Garlic parm Fries 5/5
Seasoned well and crispy
Service 5/5
Super friendly staff, patient and helpful!
Clean restaurant. Unsure if I would want to come back and order a non wagyu burger to see if the patty is better but I think I prefer smashed patties on burgers.

I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews of this place (I mISs cAfE soLsTicE sOo uNFair!). They have really good teas and a really nice seating area; well lit with plants and a good atmosphere. They have vegan and gluten free pastry options and a friendly staff as well.
Absolutely fantastic! From the minute you walk in and out.
Great gluten free menu. Starter we shared the wedge salad (it is big) and the clam chowder. For the entree we had the Seabass and the braised pork. Dessert was the chocolate torte. AMAZING!
Jeremy was our waiter and was exceptional.
Chipotle is a go to place for our family when we want something we can be sure is gluten free. Although it seems small the selection is perfect. You don't get distracted by too many menu choices.
My daughter, who has celiac, really loves the rice so we just get her a massive amount of that. The rest of us, depends on the day and mood. I can honestly say, though, I've only been disappointed that I've never had enough room in my stomach to eat it all!
My first visit and most definitely not my last. Had avocado gluten free toast w/egg and a golden milk to die for and then shopped for the first raw milk I've had since I was a child.
The first thing I did when I got home was had a glass and boy did it bring back childhood memories! Customer for life - how have I lived here for 32 years and not known?!?
The food is very good with lots of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. The service was fast at lunch time even with a decent crowd. However street parking is very limited (basically requiring paid parking at a local garage). Most disappointingly, the bathroom cleanliness was less than ideal and the bathroom lacks any changing tables.
Not gluten free friendly at all. The wings are breaded with no other options but the sauces are marked gf. Super weird. There was really nothing on the menu to eat. Very disappointing. I ate jalapeño poppers for dinner. Ugh.
My favorite sushi spot in Salt Lake City and Utah! Awesome vegan and gluten-free options. The Huge Veggie is my go-to. The staff is so friendly, the inside vibe is fun, and the take-out is so speedy! I can’t say enough good things about Sushi Groove!
The food was delicious! I requested gluten free noodles and they actually had some, most Ramen places don’t, they were very tasty. The service was fast. The menu had options everyone liked including our picky kid. We have eaten at a lot of Ramen places and I don’t always like them but this One is tasty with Modern decor and is my new favorite. We will definitely come back.
I had a lunch catering order for a work meeting. I set everything up on the website and when the meeting was pushed back I called the store and they generously pushed back the pickup time. When I came in they were busy but still provided me excellent service. The order wasn't ready yet so they gave me a cup for a free drink (buying a little time for them to complete the order) and when I got back it was good to go! The food was fresh, hot, and made perfectly. The cookies are also to die for. I had one meal that was gluten free and left a note stating such, and management had the entire crew change gloves to prevent cross-contamination. The crew was very considerate and went above and beyond on my order! Then they called a couple hours later to make sure that the order was correct and asking about ways to improve. Other fast food places should take note! I was very impressed by this store and extremely grateful to them for making this catering order as smooth as possible. The catering director was also a sweetheart and loved chatting with her. I hope to be ordering again there soon!
There menu doesn't specify which items are gluten free, but the server was knowledgeable about gluten allergies and worked with the kitchen to accommodate my allergy. They were very attentive to potential cross contamination. The food tasted very fresh and seemed healthier than other comparable Mexican restaurants. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant; it was clean and the music was tastefully sentimental and nostalgic-- very much in line with the restaurant's historical theme. I thought my server was lovely. She was keyed in to the right amount of interaction to make me feel taken care of without hovering or seeming impatient. As I usually eat lunch with a person with a disability, it is important that restaurant staff don't make my client feel like a burden or that he is taking too long to eat. I appreciate the experience of El Cholo.

Awesome meal! Stopped by on a whim and will be back again! The restaurant was meticulously clean, the food was fresh and delicious and the service was absolutely on point! Gluten-free churros and tacos for our 11-year-old!
