Love this little country diner. Serving up all your fave diner food plus some unique options like the tower of power (a French toast-ified cinnamon roll) and thick cut bacon. Reasonable prices and plenty of gluten free options too.
Just recently moved to enfield and ordered pizza and it was fantastic. The pizza was very tasty and cooked well. The gluten free pizza was one of the better ones I have ever had. My beautiful lady friend is gluten free and is always happy to find a place with a good gluten free pizza!
First thing that you notice is the restaurant is very clean. Wait staff was very attentive. We had the fish and chips fish was fresh wish they made their own tartar sauce. We also had the ravioli sandwiches were very large we had a gluten-free guest with us and they were able to do a lettuce wrap for her. All-in-all would go back good experience
Authentic Mexican food. I have celiac and am super sensitive to gluten. I have eaten here a handful of times and have never gotten sick. It is nice to have a local business I can support. Their food is amazing, and I have always had a very pleasant experience with staff.
Website helped me figure out best gluten free options and the wait staff was excellent at making sure/double checking for me to be sure what I saw was accurate. Everything was delicious.
Maybe you should tell someone that you ran out of the ONE gluten free pasta you had before you have the entire table order!! We would have left! Your servers should know this before you put in the entire tables order. Also not gluten free friendly at all, there’s hardly any options as it is
If you have a severe gluten intolerance as I do this is not the place for you. I had reactions each time I ate here. Not mild reactions either someone heavily neglected handling my food each time. This occurred each time I went a total of 4 times. Each time I told them it was a gluten allergy (pretty much is how my body reacts to gluten) swelling, hives, bp drop the whole nine yards. If you have other allergies/intolerances I wouldn’t eat here just due to my experience because it wasn’t taken seriously. Only once I received an allergy label. I even had better luck going to Taco Bell (shockingly). Most don’t take gluten allergies/intolerance serious because they believe it’s “made up” this has been my experience. I also ordered off the gluten sensitive menu. I hate to say it but Maggie Mcflys is better overall in their handling of allergies they take it serious I haven’t once gotten a reaction there if you truly have an allergy it’s worth the drive and price just to avoid that pain later. Hopefully 99 can improve id love to eat here again maybe once they have better
Control on how they handle allergies
Being a guy with a Gluten issue, I am always a bit worried about Asian cuisines, but being a Asian cuisine lover, this place is amazing. Gf foods are clearly marked. The food was amazing, well made, good char on the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken as it should be, the Fried rice was great, and the vegetables were delicious. I was highly impressed.
The staff was Friendly and happy.
I'm only sad that I haven't stopped in sooner.
As a person who can’t eat gluten, I appreciate all the things your chain and staff do to keep my food free of allergen. It makes it easy for me to find food on the road and I frequent a few shops. This location is really doing it’s level best even when supply chain and staffing issues take a toll, they remain cheerful and accommodating.
The gluten free bun for the burger was better than average, and that's the most important part of this review. I do not tolerate gluten so I am always on the lookout for good buns. And I don't gatekeep, so if you are gluten-free they have good burger buns and spinach artichoke dip. Their barbecue sauce is gf too! Decent prices and great drink and food menus! Patio, trivia, and sports galore!
SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS! This was the BEST gf mac and cheese i’ve had in forever. Got their food to-go since I was in a rush and had such a craving!!! Go check them out ASAP!
On Sunday March 9th at approximately 7:40pm, I ordered a gluten free hot sandwich. I arrived to Jersey Mikes at about 8pm, and still had to wait 10 minutes for my sandwich to be made. The excuse was that they had many online orders and unfortunately because my sandwich was gluten free, it got pushed back because there was cleaning involved to prevent cross contamination, which is understandable. That being said, the Enfield shop in particular has very disorganized service and everyone seems to run their mouth constantly instead remaining productive and focusing on customer satisfaction, poor communication in my opinion. At the end, I was handed a regular sandwich and it turned out that the person who made the sandwich, didn’t even know who it belonged to. They should be on top of which sandwich belongs to who bottom line. A regular sandwich should have NEVER reached my hands if they were well organized. Shameful service.
