This is my favourite ramen place ever! The food is delicious, and so flavourful! The eggs are to die for! It’s especially great as they offer gluten free ramen options that are safe for my celiac husband!
The service is always super fast and friendly as well!
One of the best gluten free breads I’ve had in a while. It’s like a slightly denser, nuttier flavor than a buttermilk biscuit would have. Very filling but not overly so. I didn’t try a sandwich although the salmon one looked so good, they were a bit pricey for my budget right now. Just the bread with butter and jam was perfect.
Safety: they said they use different starches to substitute the flour and have a designated cooking space for the GF breads. The potential cross contamination comes from the shared kitchen where they prep things which is why it’s referred to as gluten friendly. I have celiac disease and am being moderately careful (traveling internationally is hard), if you’re being 100% careful you may react but I feel okay.
Oghathy always serves us with a smile and great service. We love our Friday night visits to have our burgers and zoo sticks. Our allergies are always taken care of ( gluten and shellfish). Thank you for always being our favourite weekly night out.
Great gluten free light pizza as it’s on flatbread. Husband and I shared 2 one a chicken pesto( excellent).. the other a veggie option (just good). Shared a house salad as well.
As a severe celiac I felt looked after and the red wine served as a house option was excellent. Will be back as we often have connections in Vancouver.

Some of my favorite Fairmont rooms, having stayed at many different Fairmonts the rooms are spacious, the bathtubs are amazing!
Restaurant was a bit of a letdown in comparison to other Fairmont Hotel, restaurants and lounges, the restaurant could use a facelift. It seems very dated. Food was just okay for dinner. Everything seemed to have an overly charred taste to it. Cocktails were also a letdown in comparison to the other Fairmont locations, cocktails were uninteresting, and poorly balanced in flavor. Also enjoyed breakfast. Breakfast was more enjoyable. Things were well cooked and they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer.
Attended the afternoon tea.
One of our group members required gluten-free pastries due to an allergy (which we alerted the staff to in advance when both making and confirming the reservation). While our (glutinous) pastries were fine, several of the GF pastries were frozen in the middle. The staff took the frozen pastries away when we told them about the temperature and seemingly microwaved them to rectify the situation.
I'd pass on this high tea.
Chefs review- The cook here poured his heart and soul on the plate. Limited people for service in the restaurant, still floated a great Friday night service.
The chicken korma was excellent and the only place in Canada I have had proper naan and roti which wasn’t stretchy (usually Baking Soda,
Gluten extract added) The chicken in the biryani was first cooked in tandoor and then mixed in added a much layer of complexity. To my surprise the dine was great, and the team sent a house made water goblet pouches to accommodate the time.
Like any great Indian restaurant, you can tell a lot about a restaurant through its green chutney and biryani. Try those two, and you will always know.
I will be back, hungry for more!
Used to really like this place but yesterday destroyed my trust. I asked for a gluten free pizza, received I guess cauliflower? Destroyed my stomach. I asked for regular cheese, I got vegan which is disgusting and pretty sure contributed. Avoid
Steak with prawns was very tasty, there were four of us. Service is very nice and accommodating, even with special requests. Gluten free etc... Burgers and salts were very nicely prepared. One of the best meals we had in 3 weeks in Canada. Thank you 😉 gladly again....
P.s. As a drink I would recommend “The Brazilien”, similar to Mojito, only with kiwi🍸😋
Great spot, one of the few gluten free, celiac-friendly options in Richmond. Staff is very knowledgeable, and can make most bowls gluten free if you ask (just for you!) Outside table is shaded for hot lunch hours.
Food keeps getting worse and more expensive to boot. I’ve had guacamole made with underripe avocado for $6; now they’re charging $10 for that as a side. The meat quality in the tacos is not great, there is zero consistency to the point I didn’t know if my delivery order was wrong or if they just made me something that wasn’t on the menu for some reason…I couldn’t even tell if the meat was beef or not. I want to support local places and I know costs are up for restaurants but I’m incredibly disappointed with the last several times I’ve ordered takeout and the last time we dined in my mom was served the not gluten free fish tacos when we’d specifically asked for gluten free (she got battered fish). It was not busy. It’s a real shame
Great Breakfast cafe , coffee was excellent ( Australian opinion ) and the food delicious. Staff were able to help with gluten and dairy free variations to the menu so we had an excellent breakfast. Pretty funky cafe so a great place to get breakfast and so close to the airport which was handy . Worth going
Flavours lacking, gluten free options lacking, hostess was more interested in her phone than customers. Waitress was friendly and provided good service.
Server and host were friendly and provided fast service. The orders were correct and the food was good and came quickly. They have many gluten free options.
Restaurant failed to accommodate food allergy and almost hospitalized a family member,
Went in Sunday, everyone ordered their food, family member ordered a gluten wise meal and we informed the server it wasn’t a preference but celiac, servers acknowledge and wrote it down, runner brought food out and mentioned “gluten wise with celiac” her stomach began hurting but not an alarming amount and then hours later she was vomiting and stuck in the bathroom for an entire day and is still physically ill. She will need around 2 weeks to recover from this immune attack. We assume cross contamination because anything worse like blood wouldve resulted in the hospital for a couple days.. severely disappointed this restaurant has bed ridden her and caused food trauma, theres 0 solutions that can fix this this is an FYI to anyone who has food allergies to AVOID this establishment we can’t feel safe returning, service was also eh ontop so an awful experience all around.
I really don’t want to see a half hearted “sorry you had a bad experience let us know how we can make it better” response, have a more sterile restaurant before you kill someone.
This was also the only dining experience we had in the past week that wasn’t a safe meal at home so it was 100% white spots fault.
The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a "Before and After" burger and a gluten-free Nashville hot chicken burger. Our waiter, Jot, was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. One of us required a gluten-free diet, so he asked the chef to substitute the buns with lettuce and also prepared a special grilled Nashville chicken for the burger. Jot went the extra mile for us, making our experience truly wonderful!
As a suggestion for the future, it would be great to have gluten-free buns available as an option.

Great place! I’m celiac and they took great care of my order being gluten free. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you to everybody who was on shift today!
