Perfect easy family vacation! Just had our first GWF Niagara experience with our 7 year old and 3 month old girls. Stayed 1 night, which was perfect. Arrived early, with our pool gear. Grabbed our bracelet room keys, scored outdoor lounge chairs, and swam until room was ready (keep texting to find out when it's ready). Got luggage from car, threw it in the room, then had a quick bite of tacos for lunch. We had the meal plan, but saved lunch vouchers for the next day, since we had a big breakfast. In the afternoon, we picked up her Paw Pass stuffy, wand, etc. 7 year old started a quest with Daddy while I relaxed by the pool with the baby. We did a character meet and greet, explored, had dinner, did the "story time", then the arcade. Good sleep - room was just "ok", but I didn't think it was worth paying more for one of the fun rooms, since we would never be in it. The pull-out bed is not comfortable, just FYI. The breakfast buffet was great, and I asked for gluten-free pancakes, which were no problem and very yummy. Did morning yoga, and at 10 got our outdoor cabana, which I HIGHLY RECOMEND if you want to stay the whole day on check-out day. I would NOT suggest an indoor cabana, which are not private, and super noisy. The outdoor one was amazing. We paid $150 (it was a Saturday) - comes with chips, cookies, veggie tray, water, pop, juice, ceiling fan, 2 lounge chairs we put in front out in the sun, and a table and chairs. We took a pool and water slide break for a round of mini gold, which is definitely better than bowling. Used the lunch coupon around 4pm, since we had so many snacks, and they serve you in your cabana. They had fun activities around the pool from 12-4, which helped give us a break from swimming with the older daughter, since we could watch her play with the staff from the cabana while we relaxed with the baby. Ended up being the last ones at the pool when it closed at 8pm! Our 7 year old was upset she missed the dance party the night before, so we changed into jammies inside of the cabana, and ended up staying until almost 9pm dancing in the lobby. Fantastic trip, super well priced souvineers, food and snacks.

Super nice place, located right next to the river in a quieter area. The food is excellent and with a little twist. The prices are still very high, though: $12 for a pie is expensive. At least it was excellent and unlike anything you'd usually get. The salad is definitely above average, my sandwich is excellent with three successive layers of flavors. I didn't regret my meal, but the person I was with wished there was more cheese in the nachos. Maybe they should have gotten the cheese option, but since it was feta and goat cheese, it passed muster. I don't know if it was exceptional because it was December 26th, but they seemed to be running out of a lot of food. Running out of fries at 2:00 in the afternoon is weird. A selection of beers and a gluten-free menu, including burgers. Their ginger ale is interesting, not the best I've ever had, but it's different. Nice atmosphere, Celtic music, and a wood-burning fireplace in the corner of the room to warm up. I had a great time.

At dinner at the Great Room. Food and service were amazing. It was our anniversary and they treated us so well. Also great options if gluten free as well as for kids.

Lovely dinner to start the weekend off right. Smooth and pleasant atmosphere, our waitress was particularly attentive and friendly! 😊 PS: really surprised by the gluten-free poutine sauce. She was really good!

We've been here twice in the last two years and very much enjoyed our stay both times. The service is great, the beds/bedding so comfortable, and the bathrooms are fantastic - you can enjoy a deep soak tub and then peer through a bathroom window that looks out over your room's view. The forest view is lovely but this last time we had an ocean view and it was especially enchanting as we could still enjoy the ocean as the moonlight danced across the water. Lots of great beach and walking paths nearby, even into town so you can get amenities or enjoy local businesses. Also so pet friendly! They even supplied bowls, bedding and treats for furry companions, and there's an easy to access dog wash station. Spa was also high quality service and the Currents restaurant was great at accommodating for celiac disease.
