If you are gluten free and vegan (or one or the other) this place is phenomenal. I got the chicken and waffles and the flavors were spot on! Their pimento is delicious here too.
The servings are quite large, so you will definitely have leftovers if you don't spilt your meal.
We love our Mellow Mushroom, this was our first time at this location. I had the custom burger with bacon mushrooms and onion. It is a double patty smash burger style. Slamming good. Service was good the waitress was training and serving several other tables we went during the lunch rush. My wife had the steak and cheese calzone. Good could use a little more cheese. My sone had the gluten free pizza he has severe food allergies and this is the only place he can eat pizza other than if we make at home.
Ms. Rose’s Fine Food is a treat in Charleston! The food was absolutely delicious—highly recommend the avocado burger with the gluten-free bun, which was sturdy, flavorful, and a perfect match. The meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans was another standout. Don’t leave without trying the brisket fries—mouthwatering! The restaurant is spacious, the staff is warm and welcoming, and our waitress Raven gave top-notch service with great recommendations for us first-timers. We’ll definitely be back!
We stopped by for a quick lunch. The food was really good! They have a gluten-free menu with multiple options. Unfortunately, they do not have gluten-free bread or rolls, so no sandwiches, but everything else was great.
Great brunch spot. Been here a few times now enjoyed it ever time. Great menu, great food, great service. Highly recommend. Oh and great gluten free menu available.
“Big salad” is a must to try. I was obsessed with their green olives on salad. For pizza I ordered mushroom with added bacon. Tasted so good. Next time I would ask them to do gluten free crust maybe which is thinner. I love thin crust. The only downfall of the pizza was excessive amount of grease which I think came from bacon and caramelized onion. Other than that, it was just perfect.
Definitely try your own favorite pizza. You will love it.
This has to be the worst experience I have had in Charleston and we eat out A LOT. I honestly rarely write reviews but this has really stuck with me and I don’t want someone else to waste their money like we did. This place is close to home and we wanted to grab something quick. It was also a Monday and a lot of places are closed, which is how/why we wound up deciding to try No Bull. First of all, the service was beyond terrible. I asked how the chicken fingers were, hoping to get some feedback to help me decide what to order and her response was “I don’t know, I’m gluten free and never tried them”. I was in the service industry for yearssss, so I was hoping she could at least let me know if they’re popular or if people tend to like them. Second, my boyfriend asked if he could change something on his burger (which was an easy change), and she said, “I’m not sure, I’ll ask”. She never got back to us about it, and when we got home to eat it, the change was never made. Lastly in regards to the service, after we gave her our card to close out, she came back and said that she closed out our tab on someone else’s card that had already left and asked if we would mind paying their tab so that she could close it out. Meanwhile, she didn’t give us an itemized receipt, and we definitely wound up paying a more expensive tab than we would have if it was our own tab. It was so odd. By the way, she literally only had 2 tables the whole time we were there. Us, and the other table we paid for. At that point, we just wanted to leave. Now for the food. We eat out at least 5 nights a week, and this was the worst food I’ve had yet in Charleston. The chicken fingers were quite literally flavorless and all of the breading was falling off. The fries were the worst fries I have ever had and we even tried putting them in our air fryer to make them better. Didn’t work. My boyfriend, who will even eat McDonald’s, couldn’t even finish his burger and wound up heating up leftovers we had in our fridge. Needless to say, we won’t be going back and I’m just all around frustrated by the whole experience.
We weren't sure what to expect, but the space was big enough to not feel crowded and we were seated right away despite being pretty full. The menu is huge and has gluten-friendly (for obvious reasons, they can't ensure gluten-free, but my dietary restrictions aren't that strict) items clearly marked, plus a separate section for vegetarian options. Lindsey did a great job taking care of us and everyone was friendly. We will definitely be repeat customers.
