Best gluten free pizza I've had in Italy! The pizza is so hard to tell its gluten free. Truly a treat for anyone gluten free you must try! They have gluten free bread pasta deserts and more. All homeade! The portions are huge for food and is affordable for the area. The severs are really lovely.
Excellent gluten free and lactose free selection, the pub atmosphere where you eat with your hands has been lost. Some burnt edges, but overall excellent quality

Amazing pizzas, spritz and vibe. Setting is stunning up above Taormina in the tree tops. Staff are friendly and service is really quick. But spenny but that’s Taormina. We came back twice in 3 days and worth it both times. I’m gluten free and their bases are fantastic
Best gluten-free pizza eaten in recent years.
The place is clean, the terrace overlooks the sea only in a small corner, the rest has a view of the province and the railway but for such a good pizza you can forgive everything!
Yesterday we booked a table with family members as it was August 15th and we didn't have great expectations, instead we have to compliment not only the quality of the food but also the waiters who were quick, friendly and always available, my celiac daughter had a really good time👏👏👏
Very nice place. Very good pizza, even gluten-free. An excellent alternative to pizza is pasta, also made well. The staff were friendly and helpful.
A detail that distinguishes them is the fact that they bring the children a paper placemat with a design and colours, in order to entertain them while they wait.
Amazingly tasty gluten free pizzas as well as pasta dishes adapted with gluten free pasta :) As a coeliac with strong symptoms, I was completely well!!
Great experience, excellent staff including Deborah, a very kind and helpful person, we ate the pizzas, really excellent, especially the gluten-free one, compliments to the pizza chef who creates the dough to perfection. Highly recommended place.
Great views!! Just out of town but worth the walk! No crowds!!! Got a good seat with spectacular view .. ordered GLUTEN FREE pizza for lunch , it was lovely and recieved a free dessert!!! The staff were absolutely brilliant! So friendly and welcoming !! The wine was divine as expected in Scicily!! I will definitely visit again in the future!
Very well-kept location, in an elegant and imaginative Aeolian style. Top notch service. Excellent for families and couples. A place that on paper offers the possibility of serving gluten-free seasoned bread and recommended by celiac forums...
The disappointment was that they didn't have any available because they already finished at 1pm...
Naturally we remedied this with a very respectable, rich and abundant salad...
In summary, for celiacs I recommend asking for confirmation of the availability of bread...
The Malvasia Spritz (in the photo) was super appreciated
Gluten-free pizza, great for celiacs! It had a bit too much cheese for me but still very tasty. The staff is wonderful! They walk around constantly to check if everything is okay and are very friendly. Nice setting at the beach with an amazing view.
Clean and characteristic place, excellent welcome from the staff, the table attendant Mr. Pippo kind and professional. We ate an excellent pizza with quality products. Excellent also the gluten-free pizza. Accompanied by the friendliness of the owner we will definitely return.
A very nice little place on the main street of Vulcano, it stands out for its rich offer of cunzato bread and other meat specialities. It made me happy because it allowed me to taste the gluten-free version of pane cunzato and the caponata/peperonata with gluten-free bread. The entire menu can be requested with gluten-free bread and lactose-free mozzarella. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful, really tasty. The prices are in line with the tourist area although unfortunately for gluten-free there is a surcharge on each dish ordered (+€4), a little high but we are still on an island where supplies can be more difficult. Kind and attentive service, especially available to manage food intolerances. They also do takeaway.
Pizza to try....
dough with 72 hours of leavening
large border thin center
top quality ingredients
Excellent service...kind and quick
Best pizzeria in Milazzo
I forgot gluten-free pizza that was good and safe from contamination
A fantastic lunch! Excellent and quality food, attention to the presentation of the dishes very accurate and sophisticated but simple at the same time. Kind and prepared staff, also for different dietary needs such as gluten-free. In fact, as a celiac I found an inclusive restaurant, fresh bread just for me, fresh pasta that you can't find everywhere, with a significant attention to contamination, it got many more points especially for this. We will definitely be back
Good pizza, right size, and with the option of eating a gluten-free version. A very good place, although passing cars outside gave us a bit of the smell of exhaust fumes. Reasonable prices, remember to pay 2 Euro for envelopes.
Da Giovanni offers lactose free mozzarella and gluten free pasta and pizza! What a treat. And both really tasty (the Mrs is gluten free and I tried the lactose free mozzarella). Safe to say we went twice in one day. Staff are super friendly also, including the kitchen staff and pizza oven chef. Easy 5 stars and highly recommend this place.
Welcoming place and friendly staff..... We took two sandwiches, one of which was gluten-free, both delicious.... Also the baked potatoes and the brownie kindly offered by the house....we will definitely return!!!
Absolutely FABULOUS MEAL and experience!!! This place is a gem. I can’t even understand how it doesn’t have more than 4.4 stars. 10000% run here!!! Antonio was an amazing host!!! ALSO side note we are celiac and the meal was PERFECT for us!!!
This must be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, from the moment we arrived Marcella and the staff made us feel totally welcome. We didn't have a reservation but they managed to accommodate. The views are spectacular and most of the clients were local which made it feel more authentic. As a celiac it's hard to find decent options but they had so many, I had the wild boar pasta and a side of gf bread. If I could give 10 stars I would, because after I left I forgot my phone and Marcella offered to drop it off at our hotel after she finished her shift. Grazie mille from me and Arianna 😘
First up nice location and very cozy. Also gluten free options which is nice.
However the food left something to be desired. I had the linguine with red prawns and rucola pesto. For my taste it was a bit salty, but worse, the prawns tasted a bit aged. I would not recommend this dish. Besides this we had the gluten free penne with aubergine, which was a bit too salty as well, the filled squid which was good and a fish, which was a bit dry.
Overall it was fine, but a bit expensive for the quality.
Tavola Calda restaurant, very characteristic of the Aeolian Islands, located on the beach on the island of Salina. Cunzato bread is traditional, available in a gluten-free version with a very soft and abundant base! Unfortunately, stuffed squid are not available gluten-free as they contain crumbs.
Great for an Aeolian lunch on the beach!
Small but nice and well-kept place with few tables, the menu is not extensive but there is a good choice of options, including gluten-free options. The dishes are excellent with good, expertly cooked raw materials. The service is super Matteo the waiter with his friendly attitude immediately puts you at ease and knows how to expertly advise you he let us taste some excellent pasta and potatoes but also the pumpkin caponata was no joke, the meat was also excellent. The only thing that I didn't like were the mixed mushrooms used in the dish I ordered, quality but still industrial mushrooms. Excellent value for money.
Great food, great service, great everything. Really friendly and attentive staff. I announced that I have celiac disease and I had a dedicated menu from starters to dessert. I can only recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy quality food and an excellent view! I will definitely be happy to return
They had told me from the other shop in Taormina that I would find Gluten-free Arancini. When I arrived at the shop near the Duomo I was told that they don't have the fryer on and therefore they can't serve me Gluten-free Arancini. Quite disheartening for a Celiac sufferer
I am also reporting here the review made on TheFork. I had a really great time! The dishes were special and unique: you could feel the attention and care in every preparation, all true specialties. The traditional focaccia from Messina was the best I have ever eaten. The girl who served us was very kind and affable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I also really appreciated the music kept at low volume, a detail not to be underestimated. The place stands out in everything, but above all for the way of doing things: kindness, attention, authenticity. In addition, it is rare to find in the area such concrete attention to different diets, such as vegan and gluten-free. A place I will definitely return to!
The restaurant offers the possibility of choosing à la carte or tasting menu. A refined and modern restaurant, a vast selection of wines, attentive and helpful service with a special attention to those with intolerances (I am celiac).
Well-executed dishes and truly a pleasure to taste. A beautiful romantic dinner!
I am a Leccese on vacation with my family. We ate a truly exquisite pasta alla Norma, for which we were not asked for any supplement because one was gluten-free; something that is a constant in other restaurants! The risotto alla pescatora was also fabulous. Being a Saturday night among other things and despite the restaurant being full, we did not wait long for dinner. Typical Sicilian restaurant, very clean. We were impressed by the service of plates that were typical Sicilian ceramics... truly a spectacle.
Very kind service from the staff and the owner.
Compliments.
I definitely recommend it.
Superb restaurant in the central Taormina area, with very friendly and helpful staff. Here I found the possibility of ordering both gluten-free first and second courses as well as artisanal pizza; I chose a first course of seafood linguine which was good although perhaps a little too al dente according to my personal taste. I recommend celiacs in the area to try it.
They said that it's a gluten free restaurant. If you want something gluten free you can get one type of pasta and choose between 3 sauce.
The food was ok, but I ate better for cheaper at an other place. If you go there you should bring plates and forks with yourself, because the service prize is really expensive. Owerall it's not worth it.
