Best gluten free pizza I've had in Italy! The pizza is so hard to tell its gluten free. Truly a treat for anyone gluten free you must try! They have gluten free bread pasta deserts and more. All homeade! The portions are huge for food and is affordable for the area. The severs are really lovely.
Excellent gluten free and lactose free selection, the pub atmosphere where you eat with your hands has been lost. Some burnt edges, but overall excellent quality
Yesterday we booked a table with family members as it was August 15th and we didn't have great expectations, instead we have to compliment not only the quality of the food but also the waiters who were quick, friendly and always available, my celiac daughter had a really good time👏👏👏
Very nice place. Very good pizza, even gluten-free. An excellent alternative to pizza is pasta, also made well. The staff were friendly and helpful.
A detail that distinguishes them is the fact that they bring the children a paper placemat with a design and colours, in order to entertain them while they wait.
Amazingly tasty gluten free pizzas as well as pasta dishes adapted with gluten free pasta :) As a coeliac with strong symptoms, I was completely well!!
Gluten-free pizza, great for celiacs! It had a bit too much cheese for me but still very tasty. The staff is wonderful! They walk around constantly to check if everything is okay and are very friendly. Nice setting at the beach with an amazing view.
A very nice little place on the main street of Vulcano, it stands out for its rich offer of cunzato bread and other meat specialities. It made me happy because it allowed me to taste the gluten-free version of pane cunzato and the caponata/peperonata with gluten-free bread. The entire menu can be requested with gluten-free bread and lactose-free mozzarella. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful, really tasty. The prices are in line with the tourist area although unfortunately for gluten-free there is a surcharge on each dish ordered (+€4), a little high but we are still on an island where supplies can be more difficult. Kind and attentive service, especially available to manage food intolerances. They also do takeaway.
A fantastic lunch! Excellent and quality food, attention to the presentation of the dishes very accurate and sophisticated but simple at the same time. Kind and prepared staff, also for different dietary needs such as gluten-free. In fact, as a celiac I found an inclusive restaurant, fresh bread just for me, fresh pasta that you can't find everywhere, with a significant attention to contamination, it got many more points especially for this. We will definitely be back
Good pizza, right size, and with the option of eating a gluten-free version. A very good place, although passing cars outside gave us a bit of the smell of exhaust fumes. Reasonable prices, remember to pay 2 Euro for envelopes.
Absolutely FABULOUS MEAL and experience!!! This place is a gem. I can’t even understand how it doesn’t have more than 4.4 stars. 10000% run here!!! Antonio was an amazing host!!! ALSO side note we are celiac and the meal was PERFECT for us!!!
The food was great, the menu was filled with original dishes and they do have gluten free alternatives for most of them.
The atmosphere is nice, with a sea view in the background.
This must be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, from the moment we arrived Marcella and the staff made us feel totally welcome. We didn't have a reservation but they managed to accommodate. The views are spectacular and most of the clients were local which made it feel more authentic. As a celiac it's hard to find decent options but they had so many, I had the wild boar pasta and a side of gf bread. If I could give 10 stars I would, because after I left I forgot my phone and Marcella offered to drop it off at our hotel after she finished her shift. Grazie mille from me and Arianna 😘
I am also reporting here the review made on TheFork. I had a really great time! The dishes were special and unique: you could feel the attention and care in every preparation, all true specialties. The traditional focaccia from Messina was the best I have ever eaten. The girl who served us was very kind and affable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I also really appreciated the music kept at low volume, a detail not to be underestimated. The place stands out in everything, but above all for the way of doing things: kindness, attention, authenticity. In addition, it is rare to find in the area such concrete attention to different diets, such as vegan and gluten-free. A place I will definitely return to!
I am a Leccese on vacation with my family. We ate a truly exquisite pasta alla Norma, for which we were not asked for any supplement because one was gluten-free; something that is a constant in other restaurants! The risotto alla pescatora was also fabulous. Being a Saturday night among other things and despite the restaurant being full, we did not wait long for dinner. Typical Sicilian restaurant, very clean. We were impressed by the service of plates that were typical Sicilian ceramics... truly a spectacle.
Very kind service from the staff and the owner.
Compliments.
I definitely recommend it.
Friendly and extremely helpful staff, I speak as a celiac, little choice for fried food, only potatoes and frankfurters. Be careful when it comes to frankfurters. Be careful about cooking, also pay attention to the price. Honestly, 8 euros seems a bit excessive to me, but perhaps they've made a mistake, but I can guarantee you for the pizza wow.... worth trying obviously if they charge for it but so much so, quality ingredients really excellent pizza, they should pay attention to a few more appetizers, for the gluten free, I will return for the 5 stars because the pizza deserves them.
The staff were very courteous and helpful, very attentive to the kitchen, we sat down at 2pm and left at 4.30pm. Dishes freshly prepared by Maria Prima of good quality, the peppered mussels and the platter of cured meats and cheeses were decent, the "stormy sea" appetizer a little less so, perhaps for us they were a little particular tastes. I highly recommend the first courses, all of which are excellent, from linguine with lobster to those with clams, the meat is also of good quality, the swordfish a little less so, but as you know, it's not the period. The wine list is also good, as are the desserts, especially the artisanal panettone "overflowing" with chocolate, inside, outside is in addition!!!. Excellent value for money we paid 35 per person and moreover it is possible to have almost all gluten-free dishes. Highly recommended place
If you are with a big party it’s a great place to go. Although the menu is in Italian it’s easy to figure out. The waiters were lovely and so was the food. Even better were the prices! My girlfriend had tagliatelle with ragu and it was the best dish on the table! As well as this had gluten free pasta (which was delicous) and the house red was good.
Amazing customer care, I called to ask for gluten free options and they were super honest and helpful to organize food ahead I order to reduce also cross contamination 👍really great and mindful service for food allergies. Location is top and good is healthy good 😊
Homemade style food without frozen products. Having a gluten intolerance, the waiter was more concerned than me and advised me on what I could or could not eat. The food was also too abundant, I was knocked out after the starters. Advised. The super friendly owner.
I'll start by saying that I'm celiac. I had an aperitif and they brought me a bowl with old, stale olives and two soft chips and told me that they didn't have anything gluten-free to make an aperitif.
We were really happy to stumble across this place. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating. As someone with Coeliac disease, they were aware of the cross contamination risks. I had the gnocchi which was good. My partner had a arancina which was a bit cold and stodgy which was a shame, but for the price of everything it was all good value for money so I’d recommend this place. It was cheap and cheerful.
Fantastic experience, excellent food and very fresh and high quality raw materials. Great attention was paid especially to intolerances, in particular the gluten-free dishes were identical to the normal dishes, and this is a rarity.
Congratulations to all the staff, friendly and kind and to the owner, a truly nice person.
Greetings from Reggio Calabria
So good we went back twice!
Don't be fooled by the name, it's a real restaurant with an à la carte menu
Extremely kind and attentive staff, excellent quality and decidedly abundant dishes!
The environment is also very well-kept
I would also like to point out the presence of gluten-free options - the pasta you see in the photo - and the girl who served us the first evening was very attentive and explained all the options to us well
We will definitely be back!
Review with and without gluten
Excellent place where you can savor the classic and abundant fish dinner, the food is cooked well and the fish is fresh, the staff is very courteous and attentive to various intolerances. Since my girlfriend is gluten intolerant we asked for a variation and they were able to satisfy our every request by offering valid alternatives, we took the selection of appetizers which is very abundant with around 13 courses.
Afterwards, even though we were already full, I asked for a taste of risotto, so that my girlfriend could also taste it, and they brought us a tray of rice, apologizing for the chef's abundance, which was still appreciated! Excellent service and food, forza d'agro always offers a splendid view but on the location I thought I would find it more exposed to the view, having said that a very pleasant experience highly recommended, we spent €70 for two with starters, first course and side dishes, delicious piparelle, a sorbet head and a selection of typical liqueurs. I've been coming to Forza d'Agro for years and it was a very pleasant surprise.
