Ordered delivery from here on Sunday. The food showed up and we were missing 3 full meals, and one burger which was ordered with a gluten free bun and noted a gluten allergy was on a regular bun. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times and they just never picked up the phone. Finally I called the Cambridge location and spoke to a manager who said he’d get in touch with the Davis Square manager and someone would get back to me, but I have still heard nothing
I think we caught them on an off day. While the place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly, I just didn’t meet expectations. We went for bottomless Sunday brunch during what was supposed to be a special “Dia de Los Muertos festivities” week. They did have a beautiful ofrenda at the entrance. Other than that, all we got was a 50 min wait for food to come out. Some small plates we ordered never came, others were missing ingredients/toppings, one we started eating, no one checked if we needed more drinks. Now they did ask about and accommodate a gluten allergy. I greatly appreciate that. Would have been even better if it was marked on the menu. All in all, the people were nice and the food was very good, but on this day, when it wasn’t packed, we waited a long time for nothing all that special.
The staff is very knowledgeable about which items on the menu are gluten free. I recommend the curried goat stew, which is very nice. The staff is friendly, despite being in a busy environment on a Saturday night. The drinks are good and the drink menu has a nice variety.
This extraordinary piece of Venezuela attracts a beautifully diverse demographic while tucked away in the heart of Somerville, Massachusetts, within the entertaining Aeronaut Brewery. The lovely and talented owner, Carolina, prepares the most authentic Venezuelan cuisine you will find. Succulent and savory, decadent and delicious are only a few words that describe the menu here. She also offers gluten free, vegan, and meat lover options. The chefs are charming and delightful preparing tasty treats while the crowd laughs over an amusing game of trivia. Apex highly recommends stopping in and trying a renowned rice bowl, enticing arepas, and tempting táquenos! This is time and money well spent!
Stopped in before a movie with my boyfriend, Stephanie was a great bartender super friendly and knowledgeable and took extra care of me with my gluten allergy. Extra points to earls in general for havin gluten free calamari!!

Came in around 7 pm on a Saturday night and got a table for 3 right away! It is not too fancy and I would describe it as more of an upscale casual restaurant. As a gluten free person, this restaurant has tons of options and all of the fried foods are already made naturally gf so there’s plenty of dishes to choose from. They also gave me gluten free dinner rolls when they brought the bread by!
I ordered the lobster roll and had it on a gluten free bun (you can also ask for a lettuce wrap). The waitress felt like my gf lobster roll looked smaller than my brother’s regular lobster roll (even though they said they weigh out each portion), so they brought me an extra portion of lobster to make up for it!
All that to say, we really enjoyed our experience at Legal Sea Foods and will definitely be back!
Awesome spot! Our server (Luisa?) was fantastic - very kind and attentive. The menu is marked for all different allergens and they have a separate fryer for gluten-free (the pit-spiced fries are so good!). Great vibes, great drink selection, and really good food.
Loved the food. Quick service
Food is very tasty. They do have vegetarian and gluten free options on menu. Bento box is only lunch menu till 3pm. Paid Parking on street side or garage just around the corner.
March 29 (Saturday), 2025.
We came here for lunch to execute our previous night's unfulfilled desire/plan to eat gluten free Indian flavour pizza.
And we did exactly that by ordering a gluten-free 10'' crust paneer tikka masala pizza, with extra topping of capsicum/bell pepper. I also requested the waiter to "go generous with the tikka sauce and paneer pieces" and asked her to count it as an extra topping if needed (the menu doesn't have paneer or sauce in it's list of available extra toppings).
I am sure she graciously obliged as the pizza that arrived at our table was so rich in the sauce/gravy and the paneer cubes.
It smelled so good, tasted even better, and is arguably the best Indian flavoured pizza I have eaten. The paneer had a good burn/char in it's edges and was still soft and moist. I guess paneer is a legitimate pizza topping option.
I couldn't really distinguish the gluten-free crust, it felt normal.
I would've loved it even without the (mozarella?) cheese, but then, it would've been a stretch to call it a pizza.
The price was around $23 (they counted only the bell pepper as extra topping) and it was worth it, my gluten-free friend pounced on the final unclaimed slice! And I would have if he didn't!
This cozy eatery delivers an impressive dining experience that goes well beyond expectations. The food is undeniably delicious, with a wide variety on the menu to suit different tastes and dietary needs. Daily specials add a creative twist, offering diners something new and interesting to try with each visit. Service is another highlight—friendly, attentive, and efficient, making guests feel welcomed and well cared for.
The restaurant also earns points for its thoughtful inclusion of gluten-free options, catering to those with dietary restrictions without compromising on flavor or quality.
However, the decor leans toward the modest side and may not appeal to those looking for a more upscale ambiance. The bathroom, while clean, is quite small, which might be a minor inconvenience for some. Additionally, the lack of decaffeinated tea is a surprising omission for an otherwise well-rounded menu.
Overall, this spot is a hidden small gem for those who value great food and excellent service over flashy interiors. A must-visit for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
As previously stated, I am a sucker for subterranean spots. I dig the basement vibe, the extensive beer list, the range of sauce choices and the no-nonsense waitstaff. My eyes are usually bigger than my head at Redbones (especially with the afforable pricing), but that is absolutely not the restaurant's fault -- good thing ribs tend to hold up as leftovers! Pro Tip: Gluten free options are available if you ask :).
Server was very good, except she didn't know about Celiac. Steak wasn't done right and she got it corrected quickly. She was good on drink opinions. The host was not very engaging.
The food was great, we tried so many things but somehow I only managed to take a picture of the deviled eggs. The fried rice and cochinita tacos were my favorites. I really appreciated their allergen marked menus, made ordering with Celiac a breeze.
Dali is a busy, quirky, restaurant with very good food and great service. We've eaten several times and have always enjoyed it.
They have excellent Gluten Free and Dairy Free menus (and vegetarian dishes are clearly marked on the main menu), which makes it quite pleasant for those of us with a dining partner (my wife, in my case) who has food intolerances or allergies. Our server was extremely helpful in ensuring everything we ordered was allergy "safe."
We always get the tapas, which range (and another review said) from exceptional to just "good, but nothing special." There are some nice little touches as well. For example, they have a sherry flight that comes with a detailed description of each offering.
And I love that they provide a little sign that maps-out the meats and cheeses on the Plato Mixto, so you know the TYPES of each sample. Also strongly recommend the Gambas al Ajillo (a classic, really) and the Pinchitos Morunos de Pollo (chicken kabobs) which are super great.
Definitely recommended; Always fun. Get there early (like, before 6:30 on a Wednesday) and you can walk-in and grab a table. Otherwise, reservations are strongly recommended. You CAN sit at the bar and order food if there's space and you don't want to wait.
French fries in an omelette?! Yes, please. This breakfast was the bomb, and the cocktails were equally as amazing. The menu doesn't label their GF options, but they do have a designated gluten free fryer and quite a few safe options for brunch. The lemon chicken wings were also SO GOOD. Really enjoyed the vibe here, hope to be back soon!
First time trying this! They have gluten-free options for the most part (pupusas and tacos).
I ordered the 3 pupusas dish, 1 bean and chesse (plain, nothing special), 1 Birria and chesse (better in tacos I guess. Not that good) and 1 revueltas (OK flavor) It was very mediocre, nothing special honestly. You can go to east Boston for better pupusas or cristians in Somerville. 15 dollars isn't worth it. I'm sorry. Maybe come get the pupusas here for convenience of location. I wouldn't recommend.
My husband order the chicken and fries. He said the fries had a nice crispy crunch but the portion was small over all rating is 4/10. The chicken wings a 1/10, no flavor and tasted freezer burned.
Anywho! I like writing honest reviews to save people money and time. They may have other items that are better. We did take-out, the guy at the counter was super helpful and nice. 3 stars for the customer service!
It was my first time trying Detroit-style pizza and I really enjoyed it. The staff accommodated food allergies and dietary restrictions well. Loved to see non-alcoholic and gluten free beer available too. Vegan cheese is available for the pizza. I’ll have to come back and try some of the other veg-friendly options they have.
