Ordered delivery from here on Sunday. The food showed up and we were missing 3 full meals, and one burger which was ordered with a gluten free bun and noted a gluten allergy was on a regular bun. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times and they just never picked up the phone. Finally I called the Cambridge location and spoke to a manager who said he’d get in touch with the Davis Square manager and someone would get back to me, but I have still heard nothing

Great spot--especially for those with dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, Jain, gluten free all have tons of fantastic options). Very authentic food, cooked fresh from real ingredients. The Spring Dosa is a go-to for us, and the paneer Tikka masala is decadent for a cold day. Most things on the menu have a low but noticable level of spiciness (and some things are truly hot)--and not just on the Boston scale for heat.

We had a large reservation, but there was only one waiter, which caused each step of the process to take about an hour—from placing our order to receiving the bill. I’m not sure if this was intentional or an oversight. While we enjoyed the food, nothing stood out enough to be memorable a week later other than one of the mocktails. I mentioned that I have celiac and was directed to specific items labeled as GF, but I still had a reaction toward the end of our visit. I’d say the restaurant is gluten-aware, but not truly celiac-friendly, likely due to cross-contamination. Additionally, there was no kids' menu, so I’m guessing it’s not intended to be a family-friendly environment. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, which I appreciated.

i’d say a hidden gem but its not really hidden so just a gem. Cozy wine bar with delicious, inventive food. Dishes that are more than just wine bar snacks or tapas portion plates. The staff were very kind, attentive and knowledgeable. My husband is dairy free and there were plenty of options for him. The place was buzzing even at the early hour of 5:30. I only wish we had come sooner because we’ve been missing out on some tasty food and wine. The cocktail list was tempting and I love a good cocktail but I felt that I had to start with wine at a wine bar. Clearly Spoke is not “just a wine bar” though. Can’t wait to come back and try more if everything. I have now been back as often as I possibly can. I have brought my child who is vegetarian, my husband who eats no dairy, and my friend who has a severe gluten allergy and the staff from front of house to the kitchen have been extremely diligent in letting us know what items on the menu would be ok for each dietary restriction. They don’t just bring out pre-made alternate gf options they make crackers that are gluten-free in house to serve with the cheeses and dips. Much of the menu is already well rounded so that it fits in with people’s needs and the kitchen is careful to swap out the grill when needed for gluten allergies.
