I have Celiac and this place was outstanding. I immediately let the server know I have Celiac and asked about the dedicated fryer and cross contact and she confirmed and said everything can be made gluten free except for the mushroom 'escargot'. The food was absolutely incredible. We got the slow cheetah drink, sweet corn hummus, moroccan onion dip, Big Eye Tuna & Summer Melon, Feta & Olives, Crispy Potatoes, and Lamb & Beef Kefta. All amazing, and I think our favorite of the lot was the moroccan onion dip. They have house made gluten free crackers for the hummus dips that were very delicious and crunchy. I always wait to write my reviews until the next day when I know I'm not sick from being glutened, and can confirm I did not get glutened here. Wish I took more pics of the food!
Chase was amazing! Made my sister’s bday dinner special & gave special attention to the gluten-free choices to make sure the dishes were gluten-free. 10/10! Highly recommend Aba!
Service was wonderful. I have celiac and when I asked our server Ryan to explain what menu option I couldn't have, he wrote right on the menu for us so I didn't have to memorize everything he explained. Every dish we had was simply wonderful flavors!
I do NOT recommend for gluten allergies. They have an amazing menu. However, transitioning from no gluten allergy to allergy dining here post diagnosis they have super limited options and their Andros seasoning contains gluten! Why?! It’s not necessary.
Avli brunch never misses, my boyfriend and I have become regulars. Wait staff is amazing, Dimitri and Alekos always take great care of us. Recommend the dip trio and breakfast sandwich! Also has gluten free pita
Call in an order to go for four people. Got home and realized the labels on several of the trays were wrong so then had to do a mix and match to figure out if we actually got what we ordered. I'm come to find out that we actually had the food we ordered they just mislabeled the lids. Thank goodness we didn't have to walk the 25 minutes back to the restaurant from where we live. The food was good that chicken was amazing it was a tender and soft my husband's snake was great on his bowl it just seems that they put quite a lot of rice rather than the vegetables in order to make the bowl full. It would be nice if there was more vegetables in the bowl than just so much rice. I was thankful for the gluten-free naan it was rather hard and even microwaving it with a soft wet towel did not bring it back to life. The yogurt sauce on the side was best rather than putting it all over the salad. Would eat here again. is a bit spendy.
Wow! they really have the best vegan gluten free pancake🥞!!!
tofu scrambler-eggless was delicious and wholesome. Big portions great value of your money.
Amparo managed to take care of many customers with a very kind attitude, calm, charming, knowledgeable and extremely good on what she does. Eric and the rest of the staff are so friendly.
My absolute favorite place in town to eat!! Every dish I have tried is 5- star worthy. The service is quick & the owners/staff members are very friendly & ensure every meal is satisfactory :)
They also offer gluten-free options, which many restaurants do not. I could eat here every day & never get tired of it!
10/10 recommend
Can't knock them. I typically do not like these types of concepts, to make your own bowl or whatnot, but hat being said, meats are juicy and flavorful. The selection of toppings was fresh, and sauces plenty. Their gluten free pita has changed since it was more rice-based. It is now an excellent gf pita and one I would definitely question if served to me without knowing. I also like their teas and the ability to mix.
I liked it. Our experience was enhanced by a great server, Erica. She was personable, helpful, and attentive. The food was excellent! There were many gluten free options also. That's a plus in my book.
My favorite thing about roti is how clean the food tastes. I get the chicken bowl with saffron rice. And it never disappoints. The gluten free pitas are surprisingly good.
The place is always clean when we come in. Parking is free and plentiful.
My kids love the fruit punch drink and falafel.
We come here about 1-2 times per month.
I had an amazing experience at Mezé Mediterráneo! I tried their gluten-free lamb flatbread, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender lamb with a great balance of flavors. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. The live music added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere, making the evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for great Mediterranean food with a welcoming ambiance, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back.
The best dinner i’ve eaten in Chicago. Gundis’s food, atmosphere, and service are second to none. Before dinner, my friend and I were feeling stressed and looking for a nice dinner. Upon entering Gundis, I instantly felt my shoulders relaxing. The chairs we sat in were so comfortable (!), the menu super clearly labeled (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan), and our dinner (newroz pasta & salad with chicken) was delicious. highly recommend the Kurdish tea and Turkish coffee, too! Can’t wait to come back!
This was my first time here, and I was so impressed! They have many dishes that are clearly làbeled gluten free. I had given up going to Greek restaurants many years ago, because they usually don't mark their menu and then we have to spend a half hour asking a ton of questions. I really appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to go through their menu and label what I can eat. We started with Saganaki, that was made specially for us without a breading. It was delicious! Then we had a Greek salad and ordered a gluten free pita to go with it. The dressing was mostly oil, but was still good. I ordered
a combo - Greek chicken and dolmades, which was very tasty and not overly salty, and cooked perfectly. For dessert, I had their rice pudding complimentary since it was my birthday. I was surprised and glad they had the option for gf pita bread, though would be nice if they served one piece complimentary like they do with bread - it never seems fair when they don't! I do understand that gf bread tends to be more costly than regular, but the size of it is small compared to what they bring to the table, so it should equal out! It's probably a service issue, since it has to be heated, whereas regular bread just gets brought out. Anyway, I would still go back there to support them.
I have celiac disease and loved eating here. Food is excellent and more importantly totally safe because staff is knowledgeable about gluten allergies. I ordered fries without thinking and put gluten allergy in the notes. A waitress came order to let me know the fries are cross contaminated to clarify if it was okay. I told her had celiac and she took the fries off. Honestly so nice to know that staff are knowledgeable enough to clarify and the food being excellent is just a bonus knowing I won’t get sick!
Tony and lithia (I believe that is her name and I apologize if is not the correct spelling) gave my mom and I, exceptional service. We felt very welcomed. Not only that but the FOOD IS AMAZINGLY FRESH AND DELICIOUS!. Great for Vegan , gluten-free free eaters and meat eaters . All healthy and amazing . Location Vernon hills in the plaza 😊.

Decent food, many gluten free options. I was told that everything was gluten free except the pita bread, the fries and the falafel. Also vegetarian and vegan options.
Caitlyn is an amazing
Waitress. We were a little nervous being away from home and dining out for the first time after my son was diagnosed with celiac disease. Caitlyn explained to us what gluten-free options were available and how cross contamination would be avoided. My son enjoyed his meal,
and we all enjoyed a
Wonderful meal out. Thank you so much
First time here! I really enjoy the meal I had. The baba ganoush was pretty tasty. The rice with a little Bland but everything else was pretty fabulous :-) very colorful very well-rounded meal. Quick meal, very happy there was gluten free and vegan and vegetarian options. I would definitely recommend it to those people looking to try something new.
I finally tried this place for the first time! It was a bit challenging to order online.. the website was glitching and we had to reorder about 5 times before we were successful. The gyro plate was good. I was disappointed by the gluten free pita - it was hard as a rock by the time I got home. Good Gluten free items like this are hard to come by but it was worth a shot. Can’t wait to come back!
We recently returned to the area and the first restaurant we wanted to visit was Kabul House. Still has excellent food, HUGE portions, and the renovated space is beautiful! Our waiter was very attentive and food arrived quickly. Kabobs are excellent - our favorite, Kadu, (stewed pumpkin) is now available as an entree. Several options available for gluten free and vegetarian diners. Open for lunch and dinner - ample parking on the side of the building.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and great for pictures, my friends food was good, but I ordered the avocado toast and asked for the salsa on the side and it’s still came out smothered in onions so be aware of that if you hate onions like I do. Also they could’ve been more gluten free friendly.
I am never one to write reviews especially for restaurants, but I have to say Zabaadi has really great food. As someone who has tried virtually all the Middle Eastern restaurants around Norridge/the surrounding areas, this is the only place that has actual fresh high quality affordable food. For example, it was probably the first time I tried Baba Ghanoush from a restaurant that tasted like it was made with actual fresh eggplants and not like it came from a can like every other place I've tried. The food was really great and frankly I was surprised with how fresh everything was. I look forward to eating here again. Plus they have a lot of Gluten Free and Dairy Free options that are healthy and made with wholesome ingredients. They also have the menu items labeled as gluten free, vegan, vegetarian etc which I really appreciate.

The food was delicious. If you're Celiac or Gluten Intolerant... don't eat there! The menu shows GF available meals but we got gluten in the chicken dish. We even spoke with the waiter and ordered what he suggested. Like I said...the meal was delicious.
Olive Garden is a good brand and their employees work hard to maintain their reputation. Four of us had dinner to celebrate a birthday. Salads, soup, and bread were plentiful. Drinks were pretty good, if not festive. We benefitted from an incorrect order that resulted in an extra mixed drink. Our main courses were excellent. They even had a gluten free menu for my wife. Victory for me! I like my lasagna thick and cheesy and I was not disappointed. Everything looked delicious. Our server was exceptionally pleasant and continuously checked on us. I would encourage them to learn when to clear items off the table. That said, we had a very enjoyable experience. Everything was so delightful, I couldn’t take pictures before we decimated the dinner. You can’t go wrong here.
Food is pretty good and serving sizes are generally generous. Being Muslim, I also appreciate that the meat is all halal certified. I also have celiac disease and they have lots of labeled gluten free options . Only downside is that it’s little pricey and the mall is very busy so it’s not really nice to sit down for a meal since it can get so loud and bushy
6 female friends celebrating a birthday. Good service, reasonable price a.d a free dessert for the birthday group. They had gluten free options. We had no problem conversing. Fun time.
Love this place! I have celiac disease and order a bowl. All of the choices to put in your bowl are clearly marked for allergies. So many gluten free choices. You can’t beat the flavors here either!
There were only a handful of items that were not GLUTEN FREE, so I was able to eat there safely and did not get sick. They have a list of items at the register and can tell you what’s not safe. It was very yummy! I got the shish kabob chicken, rice, and falafels.
Honestly everything is amazing, the chicken, the fries and sauces and the little balls of goodness.... ugh so yummyyyy and all is allergy friendly I believe all is gluten free and a lot is dairy free and lots of dairy free sauces
One of the best restaurants for Middle Eastern food. The staff and owners make you feel comfortable and welcomed and there are many dietary friendly options (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). Lovely restaurant!
Went there to celebrate an special occasion with family, they are vegetarian but my son and i aren't, I have gluten intolerance and there we found dishes in their menu for everyone in our complex crowd. Loved the food, the service and the overall experience.
I’m always happen when restaurants have vegan options. And they even have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free prominent on their digital menu inside. It was nice to see so many vegan options. I ordered take out, the food was mostly good. I’m not a fan of their style of fries with the extra coating. Also, it would have been nice to see ketchup packets available. (I may have missed them which is why I had to ask for them.) I still recommend this place for anyone who needs vegan food.
