First time ordering delivery for a Gluten Free pizza. The pizza was delicious and came in Gluten Free box as expected. Based on reviews pizza did not affect Celiac individuals. Based on reviews items are kept separate to avoid cross contamination. I hope it stays true to this so we can keep ordering it for our family. Thank you!
I could rant and rave about this pizza for hours. Their gluten free, stuffed deep dish is rediculously good. Dont even get me started on the gluten free calzones 😭 I've ordered delivery from here like 3 times this week, it's just so good!
Pretty good pizza, great service, a little overhyped.
30-45 minute wait on a Saturday evening without reservations…not bad. We were served small samples while we waited which was much appreciated.
We shared the Salsiccia e broccoletti to start which was absolutely delicious. The Italian sausage was full of flavor and rapini was excellent.
My Cafona pizza was pretty underwhelming. Tomato sauce was too watery which soaked through most of the undercooked crust. My partner loved their gluten free Fiorentina! Good GF crust is hard to find.
Love this place! They have gluten free, covered pretty well also. Food is excellent and the owner is usually hanging around enjoying his customers. Will definitely be back.
Fabulous gem of a restaurant in the Fulton Market area. Croatian theme cuisine and excellent cocktails. Great vib. Shrimp scampi, charred green beans, risotto with carrots, pork ribs and branzino were amazing! Gluten free and egg free menus also.
I am so happy we stopped here for dinner. The staff were knowledgeable and so kind to me when I told them of my gluten and dairy allergies. Service was amazing and the food was sublime. I missed eating Italian for fear of cross contamination but they reassured me pasta were cooked separately. What a lovely place! I will be revisiting when I'm back in town.
Edit: Forgot to add, my husband got an Amaretto sour and he said it was the BEST one he's had.
Maggiano was great! Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. I had the chicken saltimbocca. When seated, the waiter asked about if anyone had any food sensitivities and I’m severely gluten intolerant. He then invited the chef to come out to talk to me about my allergies/ sensitivity which was pleasantly surprising. Most chefs never do that.
Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time eating here. I’ll definitely come back again the next time I get to visit Chicago.
A fantastic Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Park Ridge! Fred was a friendly and knowledgeable waiter and everything we ate we had here was excellent. We appreciate the extensive gluten-free menu as our daughter has celiac. We had the Gluten-free cheesy garlic bread sticks, Rigatoni Napolitana, Gnocchi crema ala porcini, gluten-free mostaccioli ala vodka sauce with chicken. Really big portions so we had plenty of food for leftovers.. They also had a wonderful selection of summer drink specials. I had the peach aperol spritz and it was so refreshing!

The food is always top-tier at this restaurant! We are particularly delighted with the options available for gluten-free, particularly their gluten-free pizzas which are indistinguishable from regular full gluten. Just tonight, we ordered a pizza and a pasta to share. The pasta came out with a strange, overly smoky and very large chunks of chewy bacon which we had asked to be cooked crispy, and they very apologetically, took the order back, and at no charge swapped it for a gluten-free pasta dish of a different variety and it’s to go container to take home. The drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is really nice. Keep in mind that if the temperatures outside are very hot, the restaurant does struggle to maintain a comfortable temperature inside. I noticed this evening that the thermostat was set on 65 but the actual temperature was 83 in the restaurant. Because of the hot temperatures, I did feel some urgency to get out of there quicker than usual. The service is always impeccable, the food is wonderful, and it is worth the hour drive that we often make to enjoy this restaurant.
First time eating here. They were great about handling my gluten allergy. The mushroom casserole was DELISH, the horseradish cream with the prime rib OUT OF THIS WORLD, yes it is thin sliced prime rib. I have NO IDEA why anyone is upset about this??? The meat is great quality, cooked to the perfect temperature, well seasoned (the only dish we had that WASNT over salted). It’s a generous serving- the two slices equal the same size hunk of beef I’ve enjoyed at any other steak-centric elevated pub type restaurant. It’s like a cooler version of RPM steak. My partner loved the sticky date cake for dessert, the brown butter ice cream was mid; only improved by the “hot” fudge (more lukewarm than hot in temperature). The ice cream didnt taste much like brownbutter at all. Would have appreciated the option for a salted caramel instead of only hot fudge.
The service was really quite good, if veering on too eager. Our server was kind, approachable, made a great surf and turf entree recommendation. The shrimp scampi (about 6 large two-bite shrimp in a buttery sauce; no noodles) alongside the prime rib, mushroom casserole and the wedge. She also offered to bring a sample of two pinots and a procesco for my partner try, which we would have never presumed to ask for.
My biggest complaint of every dish, except the prime rib, including the wedge salad were 2 notches too salty. I would have enjoyed it much more if I didnt feel slowly dehydrated by the sodium. A dry wine or soda water is a good idea to have on hand.
The place is quite large and noisy, leaning dangerously close to a cheesecake factory vibe, though it’s saved by the decor which is incredibly charming and homey with bespoke touches like a vintage linenkugel, very midwest, sign and what looks to be grandma-stitched, framed needlepoint roses.
We will definitely be back and look forward to sitting in a more secluded part of the restaurant.
First issue was the lack of understanding of celiac. I get that my fiancée having a disease is our limitation but this restaurant was supposed to be good about it. We explained about how even cross contamination makes her sick and the 2nd thing we ordered was brought out and when we asked if it was fried (Brussel Sprouts) they said yes and we asked if it was a shared fryer and they said yes. So she couldn’t eat it. (When we already explained that she would get sick from cross contamination, this was a major oversight by the waiter). They also had very small portions of the pasta dishes and the prices were way higher than they should be given the quality of food being just okay. Really disappointed overall.
Always a wonderful experience. We shared a salad, pasta course, main course & dessert ; everything came already divided which was so nice. My guest has a gluten allergy and we had plenty of options, no problem
Food taste good, service is also good. The table where we were seat was kinda of small. Prices seem to be kind of high and they also charge you 20% upfront for the service. They don't offer gluten-free toast or pancakes.
Food was delicious with fresh seasonings, including tasty gluten free options. Friendly knowledgeable servers in upscale but relaxed atmosphere. Save room for dessert!
Hands down, the best gluten-free pasta in Chicago, and the rest of the menu is great too. They have a nice little summer patio and super cozy inside space in the winter. Wait staff are always personable and professional. Nice Italian wine list with some unusual offerings.
Great spot — highly recommend!
Beautiful decor and ambiance with solid drinks and food to match.
What we ordered:
Whipped feta with truffle honey — delicious
Feta pistachio pesto
Gluten-free spiced beluga lentils
Drinks were great too. If you’re into something on the sweeter side, try the Lavender Knees Bees.
All around, 10/10

We chose this dinner spot for the gluten-free options and it did not disappoint! The service was friendly, we were seated right away on a Saturday night, and they had plenty of celiac-safe food options. The pizza was some of the best I've had. We'll definitely be back!
It is very hard to find really good gluten-free pizza. I have to say for my first time ordering from here, the crust was amazing. Great job! I'll be ordering most definitely again 😊
Great food and service. The small pasta plate option is great. Some great choices on drink menu with reasonable pricing. They also have a separate gluten free menu.
We have been here a few times and had a nice time. My only complaint was that last time they provided me a Gluten Free roll In a plastic bag, but it was moldy. I do appreciate that they had an option for me, however. They have a great selection of foods and drinks and the atmosphere is upbeat and cozy.
Overall an excellent experience here. They provide gluten free bread and have a gluten free menu with a bunch of options!
I had the gluten-free Baked Penne al Forno, and it was god-tier. Great option for people with gluten allergy.
Haven't been out lately due to several circumstances. Finally had a double date with some very good friends. The food, service and cozy vibes were so fantastic. And needed. Zane was out server, and he was excellent. We spent a good bit of money, but it was well worth it.
Also had a gluten free pizza (focaccia) and pasta that was in no way less-than. That really bowled me over as a GF person. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time today. I had the best Gluten Free pizza today, fig and pig. The crust was absolutely delicious!! The guys enjoyed their sausage and Giardiniera pizza. Eveything was delicious and Isabel B was very attentive. Highly recommend.
Really glad we found this place!! We were glad for the gluten free options — best gf pizza crust we’ve had and the ingredients were super flavorful. They even let us know their pasta is corn based and their pizza is rice based - so helpful to know! We also had a gf chocolate mousse :) the whole group keeps saying this place was an awesome find!!
I love Francesca's! I hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner here about two years ago and had such a great experience that I returned and hosted my baby shower here as well. The packages are reasonably priced, the food is great, and the service is wonderful. I also had guests with dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten free, vegetarian, vegan) and they all commented on how well their restrictions are accommodated. I would definitely recommend Francesca's to anyone looking to host an event here. Or to just visit for a nice meal out!
The salmon and shrimp risotto was perfectly prepared and delicious. My partner got the Venetian Chicken Salad and it was also amazing. Presentation was beautiful and the dining room is elegant and not noisy even when busy.
Our waitress was very attentive and our meals were served quickly even though the restaurant was busy and had a large private group. Everything was wonderful.
There are many gluten free choices including pastas, pizzas, risottos, seafood, and steak options.
Beautiful Italian restaurant. They offer courses, so take your time and enjoy the food. They have delicious gluten-free options. I would absolutely dine with them again. It's an elegant yet family-friendly atmosphere. And I really appreciate that they didn't rush us out when we finished our meal, and let us wait for our Uber at the table.
Many pizzas to choose from. Old enviroment from the 20's gives it a unique atmosphere. Good service, gluten free options , dessert and drinks. Don't sit in from of the door if it's wintertime.
The service, ambiance, and food were fantastic. The one tiny misstep was how quick the main dishes came out in conjunction with the appetizer. A little more time in-between would have helped. The thin crust pizza reminded me of when I'd pick up pizza that was wrapped in a paper bag instead of a box. My gluten free friends enjoyed the pasta and pizza. The server was attentive and friendly, and after we paid the check, the bussers were almost too quick. We still hung around after for what was a lovely night.
Wow! First time dining in. Attended a KofC fundraiser, and I was impressed. Really cool family atmosphere. Place was pretty packed, service was awesome, Italian beef on the best gluten free toasted (HUGE) bun I have ever had and was outstanding, wife had the meatball sandwich, which was awesome!!! Our server was excellent! We shall be back! Their atmosphere is awesome and the food even better. Was impressed on the go to orders going out the door!
