Coming from Verona to Catania on holiday.
I was looking for gluten-free places on the internet and I chose this one.
Friendly staff, excellent food, from savory pizzas, bread, to sweet chatter, biscuits, breakfast food. A place for celiacs to try! Thanks again
Excellent experience of both service and food. Above all, excellent experience with gluten-free, given that being celiac in the family, it is not easy to find a suitable place that is attentive to contamination. Thank you so much, for everything.. 5 out of 5 on everything!!
This place was fabulous. We went on a Saturday evening, I called 1 hour before to make a reservation and I am glad I did, cause the place was full.
After eating I understood the reason, pizza was delicious, good pasta and even my daughter's gluten free pizza was very good. I would definitely go there again, when in Riposto. I highly recommend it.
I recommend getting a reservation, available for 7:00 or 9:00. We did not have one and were seated since we showed up at 7:00, but the turned a lot of people away after us. Gluten free pasta and bread were available.
The location is wonderful, delicious food, very courteous staff available for any need and it is one of the few places in the area where you can go and eat peacefully and I am referring in particular to those who are celiac/gluten intolerant like my son
We came to this place starting from the Google reviews among the places that have an outdoor environment and we were literally and pleasantly amazed by the well-kept, clean and comfortable location both inside and outside, by the kind and impeccable service and by the quality and goodness of the food.
Specifically, we ate a delicious fried fish, two pizzas, one of which was gluten-free, 1/2 liter of house white wine and a generous slice of pistachio ice cream cake.
The bread is delicious and made by them.
Important note for those looking for gluten-free: one of the best pizzas ever eaten, with abundant, quality ingredients. The thoughtfulness of bringing morsels of gluten-free bread along with the fish starter was an attention not noted in other places.
Finally, the price was honest and reasonable, especially in relation to the quality of the food, including gluten-free food.
Already recommended to other people and certainly next and future stop.
I had lunch there for my niece's baptism. The hospitality of the staff was incredible. Having two disabled parents, they promptly helped me and assisted me in getting them to access the place easily, from a side entrance. The quality and presentation of the dishes is worthy of a starred restaurant. The raw ones are very fresh and tasty. The first ones are truly remarkable. Not being able to eat gluten, they cooked a delicious pasta for celiacs that had nothing to envy of the dishes of the other diners. The second courses were also rich in taste with combinations that recalled the flavors and aromas of tradition in an exquisitely modern way. In addition to the quality of the food, I greatly appreciated the availability and delicate discretion with which the dining room staff intervened on the occasion of an accident involving my mother and linked to her fragile state. The location is a fascinating tribute to the history of the place, as Daniele said. In short, an evocative restaurant from every point of view.
Optimal. Fixed menu on Sunday based on fish with a myriad of starters, but the raw dishes deserve a separate mention, all fresh seafood and shellfish. The cooked and first courses are also excellent. Decent house wine, bitter desserts and coffee. Good service and very kind owner. It's a shame that when there are a lot of people, the small room creates a lot of noise due to the diners speaking loudly. The bill was adjusted. The food is also good for those with intolerances such as celiac disease. We are very satisfied and will certainly return often.
Excellent dinner, all the dishes we ordered were excellent. They have a lot of really good gluten free options! Many compliments must also be paid to the staff, Marco and Albrid were very kind and helpful as well as being very professional, you can see that they do their job with passion.
Highly recommended! If you pass through Catania you absolutely must go there!
Be careful going to this place because it is not even worthy of being called a restaurant! They also put your life in danger... we ask for a gluten-free dish, it arrives at the table, reassuring us that it was absolutely gluten-free and after having practically finished eating, another waiter arrives, apologizing and saying that they had the wrong course and that it instead contained gluten... After taking 2 Bentelan and almost risking anaphylactic shock, we recommend that there is a pregnant person and that everything was cooked to perfection and that there was nothing raw... What do you think comes to the table? Pasta with raw lobster and raw parsley on top... Maybe they should change jobs since they put people's lives at risk... Instead of apologizing, the owner made us pay for everything in full and didn't even apologize for the happened.. in fact he railed against us... Donna so to speak.. very unimportant and rude.. To be closed down
Very nice and welcoming place, excellent food (also prepared for those with gluten and lactose intolerances), qualified and very kind staff. Great experience!
Excellent quality pizzeria restaurant, vast menu for all tastes according to your needs, vast choices of pizzas including pizza for celiacs, vast choice of first starters and second courses of meat, excellent anxiety meat, delicious cut of meat, You can also enjoy pizza platters for 2 people which include: three pizzas cut into wedges, French fries, onion rings, fried calzones, an aperitif based on fried fish to order, while the pizza platter is always available. Also open for lunch. Panoramic view from the beautiful veranda being positioned in the part below the access you have to go down the stairs. there is the possibility of accessing with a wheelchair from a ramp which is located from a secondary entrance, therefore suitable for disabled people with wheelchairs. Parking in front of the restaurant is along the street with valet for peace of mind. Excellent price quality. The staff is kind and friendly, they put you at ease and know how to advise you on the products on the menu based on your needs, waiting times are not long. For me and my friends it was the first time we went to this place and we had a good time, I think I'll go back soon.
Excellent trattoria whose specialty is fish. Truly excellent food, from raw to fried and excellent spaghetti with clams. The steak ordered and eaten with gusto by those who didn't want fish was also very good. Obviously there is no shortage of cutlet (breaded with ancient grain crumbs) and chips (fried in clean oil) for children. I would like to point out the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner and chef Giancarlo, attentive to the needs of the guests, who allowed me to eat the fried food made with gluten-free flour and the sgaghetti with gluten-free clams. Last but not least, the warm honey rice crisps made on the spot "home made" and the friendliness of the staff. Balanced prices. See you soon
We went to Paradise on Saturday evening for dinner, there were around 300 people but despite everything (assuming I am celiac) they served me excellently and gluten free came first, I highly recommend you go there.
Excellent location, with convenient parking attached. Excellent food, excellent service. The possibility of also satisfying gluten intolerants is appreciated. Final bill considered slightly high compared to the menu served.
We went on a Sunday and had a great time and also found a menu for celiacs. In any case, inquire first about any problems relating to contamination. Great food and polite, professional staff
Reading the reviews we wanted to try this place and we were very satisfied. Meanwhile, the choice of pizza is very vast, plus you can choose between normal, timilia, wholemeal and 8 grain dough. We ordered the pizzas with spectacular 8-grain dough! The cooking of the perfect pizza, the well-leavened dough and the quality raw materials. The service is super fast despite the confusion on Saturday evening, in an hour we ate chips, pizza and even dessert. As for the very good desserts, we tasted the almond semifreddo and the warm salted caramel heart and they truly amazed us. Excellent quality/price ratio. We will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.
Among other things, it is also possible to order gluten-free pizza
