Travelled down the north island with a coeliac this evening and found this place on the Coeliac New Zealand FB page. I phoned and we were told they have a separate area. Ordered and got two packages- one for the gluten folks and another for the coeliac. both were absolutely delicious and this place was super busy. it's a good hour from where we live but we'll be coming back up here for dinner. LOVE that this place is safe for coeliacs.
Not only were the chips the best I have had in a long time, I also was able to bring in my own fresh caught fish for them to batter and cook at only $1 per filet. Polite, quick and friendly. I wish I could get the lovely young man who wrapped it all up to wrap all my Christmas gifts, it was done so nicely (weird thing to note I know, but I was impressed). We will definitely go back again. They also offer standard salt and chicken salt, as well as doing gluten free (but not celiac as it is all cooked in the same, though fresh, oil).
Great service, my order was made very quickly and it tasted amazing, the pepperoni was great and they make a really good thin crust, their meat is amazing and they have gluten free options that taste great too.
Best over priced sandwiches money can buy. Yo bad there are no gluten free cookies. The staff here are great! 10/10 Avocados (Could have scored 11 out of 10 but no gluten free sweet treats is really depressing)
