We arrive but the man who is supposed to take orders stops to talk to two customers for a long time about the history of the place, so after 10 minutes I go to the cashier and ask if someone else can come and take the order. I order a gluten-free Sicilian, thinking that a pizza with anchovies would arrive (I didn't read the menu because in all of Italy the Sicilian has anchovies) instead I get a white pizza with a pistachio pesto, therefore sweet, the mortadella, therefore sweet, which I don't know what it has to do with Sicily, and the burrata, therefore sweet and also has nothing to do with Sicily. My mistake, I didn't read the menu but they didn't even dream of asking if I wanted to change it. The whole thing, if you can make this combination worse, was raw. The pizza underneath, in the center smelled of raw dough. A great shame, I used to go to this pizzeria, and I was happy until last year, for the "gluten-free" but I will have to change destinations.
Not recommended!!!!
The place identified via the AIC app turned out to be a very pleasant surprise thanks to the hospitality of the managers and the competence of the service provided. The quality of the gluten-free pizza is excellent. The pizza dough with conventional flours is superb. Special mention also to the dessert: almond and fig spumone. Not to be missed.
Delicious frittino and pinsa, even gluten-free of excellent quality, beautiful, large and very welcoming location with excellent and always available staff
Pizza & Sfizi in Brindisi: a guarantee for those looking for taste and attention to intolerances
As a regular customer and intolerant to both gluten and lactose, I can say with certainty that Pizza & Sfizi is one of the few places that combines quality, variety and attention to special dietary needs.
Their offer includes delicious gluten-free pizzas, prepared with a light and well-cooked dough, which does not make you miss the traditional versions. The care they dedicate to the preparation is evident, with fresh and high-quality ingredients, avoiding cross-contamination. The possibility of enjoying a truly good gluten-free pizza is a rarity, and here they manage to exceed expectations.
Even for those, like me, who must avoid lactose, the staff is always ready to recommend the best options. Although they do not have an explicitly dedicated menu for lactose-free products, they are available to eliminate unsuitable ingredients or suggest alternatives.
The environment is welcoming, with fast service and a kind and prepared team, always ready to answer specific questions about ingredients and preparations. This makes you feel comfortable and safe, which is essential for those with food intolerances.
GREAT selection of diverse and interesting combinations!! The best gluten-free pizza I ate on this trip. I definitely recommend the black brunda and don brunda as well! Very child-friendly, they immediately offered a coloring page and markers! The only thing I would say is to add a note that you pay an extra €5 for a gluten-free pizza. You can expect an extra fee of €2-3, but €5 is worth a note beforehand + we sat outside with a music band next to the place that was sound checking so it was a bit too loud to talk to each other.
Being Neapolitan I didn't like the pizza very much. The place is discreet, but the problem is the staff. We were precise with our order, but when they brought the pizzas one was different, that of my celiac brother. The pizza was gluten free but it was very strange and my brother felt sick eating it. After a while we realized that the pizza was different and my brother went without food that evening because they made a mistake in taking the order.
We arrive late, without a reservation, they welcome us with a smile (the owner or manager) and say we'll seat you within 40 minutes if that's OK... they kept their word! TOP SERVICE... to be praised by Alessio, the ultra-correct waiter in communicating that he had to ask for gluten-free potatoes in the kitchen given that the stoves were all occupied by many orders and it would have taken a long time to wait. Excellent food, right portions and everything well cooked, from pasta to meat, ending with the exceptional pizzas!! They no longer had GLUTEN FREE pizza dough, they do this too! The little girl ate safely and tastefully (Sausage from Norcia). Average prices, above average service, congratulations!! #glutenfree #glutenfree
Cozy place but a little poor service, clean glasses but they smelled of bleach, good frying but the waiters don't know all the names of the pizzas, the weizen beer on tap arrived at the table without a trace of foam and having a different flavor from the usual weizen, on the other hand the pizza is good even the gluten-free one
Sea and land appetizers different from the usual, well made, crispy and dry fish, just enough salt, exceptional raw seafood. Balanced sea and land first courses, with real fresh pasta and well cooked. A millefeuille birthday cake, loved by everyone from children to adults... never happened. Excellent choice of wines. The gluten free offer was greatly appreciated. A thousand thanks
Magnificent restaurant in the heart of Ostuni. The food is spectacular, and they have gluten-free options since they have a separate kitchen. I tried the mushroom and bacon pizza on recommendation, and it was incredible. The service was excellent. They served us an olive oil tasting with bread and a cherry tomato tapa with rice and delicious spices. I give the restaurant a 10/10.
I have celiac disease and I found a gluten-free alternative for every dish on the menu.
The quality of the food was excellent as was the service.
I highly recommend it!
We were there for lunch last Sunday, what can I say? Except that the cuisine is amazing, the staff attentive and scrupulous, the service excellent. There were also two celiacs in the group and, by notifying them the day before when booking, they made us find everything from bread to gratins and even gluten-free desserts. The chef Loredana was excellent, as was Massimo and all the dining room staff. An experience to definitely relive.
We went to eat pizza this evening. Excellent service, very kind and quick in bringing the pizza, and the gluten-free one is delicious, thin but not dry and seasoned well. Congratulations indeed 😀
A warm welcome, good music, friendly service, and fantastic food!
Hey Michelin Guide, consider visiting the area. Restaurants of this quality, in such exceptional locations at affordable prices, are few and far between.
Many gluten-free options.
Impeccable service, quality raw materials and excellent choice even for celiacs like me! If you pass through Oria you absolutely have to go to the Osteria Luce!
If there was an extra star I would have given it. 5 stars more than deserved, EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT staff, EXCELLENT owners, I celebrated my daughter's baptism and they made us feel at home, surrounded by affection and without worry for two celiac guests and a pregnant guest. They are very attentive to everything.
Thank you
Excellent service and food. The pizzas are excellent and there are a couple of gluten free options. If you want gluten-free pizza, you must notify a couple of days in advance.
A gem in the historic center of Mesagne, the food is always fresh and of excellent quality, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about gluten-free cuisine
