Bricks & Barley in Virgil is a gem! This place was packed when we arrived — clearly a go-to spot for both locals and tourists. The vibe is lively and welcoming, and the menu is packed with great options, including lots of gluten-free choices and kid-friendly meals. The food is like upscale sports bar fare — fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Our server, Katie, was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and always there when we needed something. Highly recommend making a reservation — it gets busy for a reason. We'll definitely be back!

The food was okay, but not great. I had the gluten-free pizza, and unfortunately, the crust was disappointing—I’ve had better at Domino’s. My boyfriend ordered the chicken, which was dry and lacked flavor, and the rice tasted undercooked and slightly hard. My friend had the mushroom pasta, which she said needed more flavor, though she did enjoy it overall. The biggest letdown, however, was the wait time—it felt like almost an hour before our food arrived. On the bright side, our waiter was wonderful—super friendly and welcoming, which helped make up for some of the negatives. Overall, it was an average experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Amazing sushi! Very knowledgeable with allergies and even offer gluten free soy sauce! A great gluten free menu- was so exciting to eat new items I’ve never tried! I will continue to be back!

This restaurant and their staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. We went here for a bachelorette party dinner. I have a whole host of dietary restrictions (no soy, gluten or dairy) and I was expecting to have to bring my own food/ eat before. I emailed a week before we went and just asked if there was anything possibly that I could eat. They sat down with their chef and responded right away with a ton of options! I didn’t even have to ask about dietary restrictions when we got to the restaurant, the server Sarah already knew. The food was delicious and thank you to all the staff there for being so wonderful.
