As a long time customer of True Food Kitchen - for more than 4 years - what initially interested us was the healthy non GMO, Gluten Free menu that does not use unhealthy seed oils (like Canola/Rapeseed Oil) in its food preparation. Since then, True Food has made some slight changes to its menus, including the use of controversial Vital Farms products as well as changes to its gluten friendly pizza dough and hamburger buns, however the one thing that has NOT changed - and is the best part of the restaurant: its employees. Ask for Chantal, Yuyu or Aaron - those are three of the best restaurant professionals you will ever meet! Their can do attitude, combined with their amazing ability to connect with customers is the REAL secret weapon at True Food Kitchen on PostOak. My family can eat at any restaurant in Houston, but we choose to eat at True Food Kitchen on Post Oak because we are always given excellent service and shown kindness when we eat there. Every restaurant should figure out how those three team members work, and copy it exactly - as a customer you leave having had a good meal, and GREAT service. Kindness, always served with a smile - and if there is any problem at all with your order, they are always quick to rectify the situation. You will never sit around with an empty glass of tea if you are being served by Aaron, Chantal or Yuyu. They always put the customer first - which is why, as long as they are working at TrueFood, we will always eat there! Give it a try - and ask to sit in their sections - you will have the best dining experience ever! Thank you Chantal, Yuyu and Aaron!!
Nice place but not the menu for me. If your a healthy food eater who really needs gluten free this is the place. I'm almost 100% sure if you fit the description I just listed this is the place for you.
As someone with celiac disease, finding safe and delicious gluten-free options can be a challenge, but Pondicheri absolutely delivers! Their menu has so many naturally gluten-free dishes, and the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions. It’s such a relief to enjoy incredible Indian-inspired food without worrying about cross-contamination.
Everything I’ve tried has been packed with flavor, fresh, and so thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is also warm and inviting, making it a great spot for anything from a casual lunch to a special night out. If you’re gluten-free (or just love amazing food), this place is a must-visit!

Amazing food! I thought it was vegetarian and was so surprised to find out it was totally vegan and gluten-free! I truly didn’t miss anything. Packed with flavours and spices.
Cute decor. Was a little hard to find but totally worth it.
Great place. Highly recommend and we’ll be back.
Absolutely love them! Service and food is amazing. I am dairy and gluten free and love that I can super yummy crepes with dairy and gluten free options! Wish more places offered that!

We just finished celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary at The Melting Pot and couldn’t wait to leave this review! From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Our server, Andrey, was so friendly, attentive, and full of great suggestions. Once he found out I have Celiac, he made sure everything was safe and gluten-free — and did it with such ease. Honestly, the BEST gluten-free bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Every course was perfection.
The kitchen manager, Michelle, even came by to check in and make sure everything was just right, which meant a lot. The drinks were fantastic too — highly recommend the Espresso Martini and Tawny Port!
To top it all off, they surprised us with a “Happy Anniversary” card signed by the whole staff. Such a thoughtful and special touch. Thank you, Melting Pot team, for making our celebration unforgettable!
Wonderful crepe spot in citycentere with delicious options and very attentive staff! A little busy and a little on the loud side, but otherwise an enjoyable experience and worth a stop if you’re in the area. Expect to pay $20-$30 per person. They do have vegan and allergen friendly options on the menu such as gluten free and dairy free. Parking is a bit of a chore, and most of it is paid parking, but there is some free parking available if you’re lucky and willing to walk.
Great gluten free options and it is delicious. The prices are a little high and the sides and drinks are on the small side. I paid almost $3 for a bottle of Diet Coke to find out it was a mini one.

OMG!!! Amazing!!
First: make a reservation!! I did and avoided a 2 hour wait.
Second: service is excellent!! Don’t rely on your waiter/waitress, everyone chips in!
Alejandro was our waiter, excellent! Made great recommendations.
I had the Thai ribs and my wife had the salmon. Told a waiter my wife had a gluten issue. He changed her order to include a side of cauliflower instead of the wheat based grain. Everything came out hot and fresh straight from the kitchen to your table. No wait time flavors were amazing. Portions were huge definitely could’ve shared either one of our plates had old fashions to drink mixed perfectly. Had the cheesecake for dessert, light fluffy, no crust or flakes and not a sweet dessert perfect for after dinner Definitely recommend this for a date night or even a family gather.
This Flower Child restaurant is definitely a fantastic place to eat and enjoy, specially if you are into natural and healthy eating. All dishes are made-from-scratch, catering to all lifestyles like vegetarian and vegan, meat-eating and gluten-free, as well as keto and paleo. To point out at a given dish, be it a salad, a bowl, a wrap, or any of the variety of mix-and-match veggies, grains, fruits and healthy proteins would be superfluous as ALL dishes are very well prepared and delicious. Of the several Flower Child restaurants I have visited this was for me one of the best ones. Great atmosphere and great service. I’m certainly looking forward to returning to explore the menu further!
Extra $3 for gluten free options. The coffee is good, Crêpes are also good. I prefer the house coffee it’s more than half the price of the other iced ones.

Hi There
Excited to visit this place especially since they offer vegan items. Not many options but a few baked goods.
I purchased a bag of chocolate chip cookies which tasted good but I feel like the flavor and texture should be elevated in today's vegan market.
They also offer gluten free-vegan brownies along with a vegan banana bread and I will definitely try those on my next visit.
Cute place and worth a visit.
La mejor pizza 🍕 Gluten-free.. esta aquí
Las ensaladas. Y sopas fresca echa al momento 100% naturales. Deliciosas
Siempre regresamos
Gracias a Jasmine por atendernos tan bien
I tried the vegan options. My favorite was the chocolate chunk! Next was confetti. My taste buds didn’t care for the double chocolate chunk or gluten free chocolate chunk. My cookies were fresh and warm! It’d also be nice to have a dairy-free ice cream option. I’d come back for more vegan chocolate chunk 🙂.
Sweet Paris menu shows you can get a crepe Gluten-free, however the sauce is NOT gluten-free, which is misleading. I suffered the affects of eating a crepe. Management should not advertise gluten-free unless it is truly that.
I love the gluten free crepes here. They are great! This place is quiet and clean, you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I have tried a few of their savory crepes which are good and of course the sweet ones are amazing! I’ve tried a few other places and this place has the best gluten free batter.

I have been here many times for many occasions- casual dinner with friends, work dinners, birthday celebrations- and it’s always a good time. They are very receptive to my gluten intolerance and can make adjustments when needed.
Cute little bakery hidden in the corner of a shopping center. We got our order to go so we could eat in the park, but the shop was clean and had interesting art and decorations. Our treats were beautifully executed and delicious. The sachertorte was a tender and chocolatey gluten free cake that doesn’t sacrifice texture for dietary restrictions.
I'm love shake shack every time. This one was clean, staff was awesome.. Only downside is you have to pay for parking. I had a gluten free cheese burger, fries and a strawberry milkshake.
Food, service and atmosphere were all just okay. Nothing was extraordinary. I was told that the quesadilla and chimichanga couldn’t be made gluten-free. I ended up ordering the las enchiladas and chile con queso. If I was already in the area, I’d stop by and try different versions of the gf corn taco but I definitely would not drive back solely to eat at this restaurant.
My husband got me the gluten free chocolate chip cookies and they were AMAZING. Huge, crunchy on the outside, softer on the inside, & FILLED with chocolate chips which made every bite so delicious. Definitely hard to find delicious gluten free options, but these were so tasty!
The food is delicious they also have gluten free pizza, atmosphere is amazing and service is really good! I like the music too. Definitely will be coming back.
As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with smiles and great conversation. This adorable locally owned cookie shop offers thick soft stuffed cookies, decadent milkshakes with a cookie mixed in, huge cookie sundaes, cold coffee, yummy refreshers, sweet frappes, and a tremendous amount of dirty sodas to pick from. I love that you can get a box of twelve and mix and match, picking from the classics and the weekly specials. They also have an app that lets you see what they have and order that way. Another sweet perk is that they have a gluten friendly chocolate chip cookie! I recommend you use the app and order an hour ahead for this special treat as they go fast! I encourage you to shop local for your next: after dinner treat; quick pick me up snack; office party dozen; birthday extravaganza; reward for being plain awesome! They also offer gender reveal cookies with cute pink or blue centers and Pull-A-Part cookie cakes! My favorite so far.... It's a tie between the soft yet still has a little crunch on the edges stuffed chocolate chip cookie and the raspberry cheesecake! 🤤

Stopped by kind of on accident after a haircut. The cookies looked amazing and the place smelled like happiness.
The ladies were so nice to me and pleasant. It was really sincere too. A little friendly banter about cookie flavours etc and I asked about the gluten free raisin oatmeal. She said it was exceptional but I mean, gluten free right? So I said maybe I’d come back and try it if the first 4 I bought went well. If she earned my trust.
Well she gifted me a GF raisin oatmeal to try as a show of good faith. I didn’t even make it out of the door with the cookie because even GF it was amazing.
I got home and tried the rest with my girlfriend, these cookies are amazing. Much better than crumble cookies IMO and the service was amazing. It’s rare I’m in this part of town but from now on if I am I’ll be stopping in.
Crepes are good. But unless you get specific one or two people that work there except to be treated like they don't really want you there. It's a small business so I don't want to write this. The crepes are still done well and they have gluten free {most of the time}.

Great whiskey bar with an elevated menu of comfort food. Went for brunch and was not disappointed by a single thing. Service was outstanding. Drinks were perfect and well matched to the menu. Food was amazingly good - rustic, flavorful, creative and perfectly prepared. The Smokehouse Benedict was a star, but the short rib chiliquiles and gluten free flapjacks were also really really good.
⭐️ FINALLY, A DELICIOUS DAIRY-FREE ICE CREAM ! 🍨
The thoughtful flavor combination in each ice cream offering is what sets Jeni’s ice cream apart from the competition. They have a wide range of Dairy-Free, Vegan, and/or Gluten-Free choices.
Each flavor I’ve tried is fantastic, but my favorite is the Lemon Bar. It reminds me of Key Lime pie. This ice cream has an incredible mix of lemon and coconut cream with small pieces of shortbread in the mix. The coconut flavor is not heavy (the mistake other places make), so it compliments, rather than takes away from, the lemon. Whatever flavor you choose, you can’t go wrong at Jeni’s.
The best pasta in Houston, without a doubt. The appetizers, salads and desserts are also delicious, but the pasta is the real star of the show. Every time I go, I have a hard time deciding which one to order because they’re all so tempting.
What makes it even better is that they offer gluten-free pasta, and there’s no risk of cross-contamination. The staff is well-informed about which dishes are gluten-free and provides excellent recommendations.
The restaurant’s decor is charming, and it’s a small, cozy place with great service. Definitely a spot I’d recommend!
Has a plethora of chocolate selections, and many cakes to choose from, however, I wish they would have more gluten free cakes available. Out of 15 cakes, they only had one, which was a flourless chocolate cake. It tasted good, but something I could have baked myself. The chocolate on the shelves was quite expensive.
A delicious dessert customized for you! They have vegan, dairy, nondairy and gluten free offerings. I choose the coconut paleta with dark chocolate dip in and almond toppings. It was wonderful! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a dessert to end your meal or just a treat!
I have eaten there several times. I have nothing bad to say. The food is delicious. I have been pleased. On Sunday the wait has been a little long. I frequent the establishment often. I am gluten free and would like to see more gluten free items
