I have a wheat allergy and my husband picked this restaurant because it had gluten free options. They have stuffed french toast on the menu and it looked amazing, you get 2 of these giant round 2” tall stuffed french toast things, and the menu has a gluten free option for an extra $2. Of course the gluten free option is regular french toast not stuffed and I was fine with that however… after waiting 40 min. they brought out our food and all I got was one small thin piece of french toast… even with 2 it would have only been about half the amount food as the regular option and I was ok with that but, one small piece?? Definitely not worth $15. When you’re paying extra you at least expect a similar amount of food. I will say our server was great even though it was busy, the food tasted good, and if you don’t have food allergies it’s probably a good place to eat. However I definitely don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone with gluten/wheat allergies as it’s just not worth it. I’m already paying extra and I get less food than a kids meal. So if you avoid gluten I’d probably avoid this restaurant.
Super delish and allergen friendly! I have Celiacs and had their Wagyu burger with gf bun for dinner and a flourless lemon cake for dessert! They had plenty of other options on the menu (cauliflower flat bread, buns, seafoods) that are gluten free that I would love to try! Highly recommend going if you’re celiac! Also, my mom got the chicken pot pie and said it was delish; so safe for non-celiac peeps too hah.
Fantastic waitress, I think her name is Paula. Super friendly. My 1st time there as a gluten free dining experience was great. French toast was really good!
Good service. Really appreciate their attention to detail when it comes to gluten free customers. The manager came to the table after the server took the order and reinforced that they were aware of the gluten free orders and would be sure to prepare it appropriately.
The burgers were delicious. Best gluten free bun I have ever had. Tried 3 types of fries and all were very good. Also, highly recommend the deviled eggs.
Our experience last evening was excellent. Our server and the kitchen staff were accommodating of my gluten, dairy, and egg restriction. Our server, Zach, was efficient without being intrusive and a bit humorous. We were given time between courses as requested, and the food was delicious!
Great place for a bite to eat. Everything is very good. A few things were great. Nothing bad yet.
The only thing I can say I don't like is with gluten free stuff. They can make a lot GF but they use the same fryer so anything fried is assumed to be tainted. Even though they have GF options for sauce.
Dean's is amazing and one of the few places our whole family can eat together. They hand make all their sauces, which are gluten free and the food is amazing.
