The workers were lovely, and the banana chocolate chip gluten free muffin had to be the best I’ve ever had. It was so moist and flavorful— I will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!
Pro’s: Great options for Celiac Disease + good GF bread. Coffee keeps flowing, it’s $5 for unlimited self serve. Central location next to Capitol.
Con’s: Slightly underwhelming portions. Lox bagel does not come with cream cheese. Not a ton of unique / strong flavor for an $18 meal.
It generally felt like a restaurant that used to be charming in its origins but has commercialized.
I can’t say enough good things about this bakery! Everything I have tried has been amazing, you’d never know they’re gluten-free!
The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable! The shop itself is cozy and inviting, with a delightful aroma of fresh bakes in the air.
Whether you’re gluten-free by necessity or choice—or just someone who appreciates quality baked goods—this bakery is a must-try!
My wife got SEVERELY cross contaminated to the point we are concerned the “gluten free” bread they served was not actually gluten free. Food was mediocre on top of that
This place is currently not even open, until July as we were told. You need to inform people if you are closed and remodeling. I am Celiac, and drove 2 hours to come to this place. An absolute waste of my time and gas, and I won't waste my time coming back. I would give you a 0 if I could for keeping people informed.
Gluten-free friends, rejoice. I have a gluten and egg allergy, and their vegan/gf chocolate chip muffin is to Die For. You wouldn’t know it was gluten free. It’s that good.
My home-base Cafe Patachou. Much too conveniently located near my home. It's hard to eat out and eat healthy. I love to get the chicken salad sandwich on gluten free toast and sub out chips for arugula. So yummy and I swear it has restorative powers.
I am an admitted Cafe Patachou addict... but I swear their chicken salad sandwich has restorative powers! And only place in town I know of you can get gluten free waffles!! 💙
I love eating breakfast here when visiting my daughter at Purdue University. I’m gluten free and I love that I can get pancakes or gluten free toast with my omelets. Ash was an excellent server! Very friendly and helpful!
An update after my visit: despite noting that I have an allergy and needed the gluten-free pancakes, I was served pancakes with gluten. Through sheer luck, I commented on a separate allergy-related issue, and a new staff member (not the one who took my order) got confused and asked "You do realize these have gluten, right?". They prepared a new, safe, order quickly, but it was concerning. I recommend that those with allergies place their order through a manager, and have the manager double-check with the kitchen that they read the order correctly.
I haven't even been here yet, but I already love them due to their commitment to safe gluten-free food for those with Celiac and other severe medical responses to gluten. I'll update this review after I eat there this weekend
Delicious vegan and gluten-free food and drinks that leave you feeling good! (The greenfields salad/dressing is my personal favorite) Friendly and personable staff.
The outdoor seating space is great in downtown fishers. Alaina was a great waitress. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good food and gluten free options I appreciate!
I have two small kids and needed to get out of the house, I knew I needed to go to Main Street. What a great treat to get an awesome gluten free sugar cookie and lunch to go. I am so grateful for this friendly and warm coffee shop!
Loved this little sandwich shop. The gluten-free bagel was so good, it made me so happy to find a great place for a quick bite with gluten-free options! Next time I’m passing through again, I will definitely be stopping by!
One of our favorite spots-the coffee is so good and there are so many options for Gluten free / dairy free. Jordan, the manager, was great to work with for a recent collaborative event! They have renovated their shop and are also offering more catering options---highly recommend!
We really enjoyed the jerk chicken wrap and the BBQ chicken salad, and left with some delicious desserts!
Tons of gluten-free options, and it was great meeting the owner and her family.
5 stars for the service; 4 stars for the food. Huge shout out to Crystal for doing a great job waiting on our table of 10. She was attentive and made sure that one of our gluten-free friends had what she needed. I appreciated that I could substitute the fries with roasted vegetables - they were tasty and perfectly cooked. My one complaint is that my matcha latte was far too sweet; l I wish I knew they add honey. Also, they ran out of vegan gravy at 11am :'(
Outstanding food, with plenty of gluten free options! Great service, where you’re encouraged to take your time enjoy your meal and company. We happen to stop at this place visiting the dunes, we’ll be back if we’re ever in the area again. Thanks!
We enjoy the details of many of the dishes. The ingredients are sometimes surprising and that’s the best thing about many dishes on the menu. Sure you can make salmon and cauliflower at home, but probably not like Field Brewing makes salmon and cauliflower. Their recipes and dishes are just always a delight to us. If you’re gluten free, they take their gluten free preparation very seriously. Enjoy!
I came into town for work and knew I could find gluten free options at cafe patachou. Loved the gluten free avocado toast! Service was quick and friendly.
5 stars all around. Super cute, unique cafe. Espresso based drinks, teas, smoothies, and quick bites. Gluten free items available.
Great location, dedicated parking, indoor and outdoor seating. Very kid friendly.
Solid experience every single time. I’ve been vegetarian for almost a decade… lived a variety of places and tried a lot of plant-based food. I can confidently say NOTHING tops this place. I’ve never had tofu so flavorful. I’m also gluten free, and their menu has gluten free options labeled (there are a lot!!). My fav dish is the Singapore noodles, I crave this at least once a week.
I’m so happy to have found a coop like this. It is totally worth the 40 minute drive! Unusual foods that are difficult to find elsewhere and staff who actually know what they are selling. Not to mention quite a few local suppliers. Organic, locavore, seasonal, gluten free and vegetarian options as well. What more could you ask for?
Fantastic waitress, I think her name is Paula. Super friendly. My 1st time there as a gluten free dining experience was great. French toast was really good!
I absolutely LOVE this coffee house. The owner is so friendly and has made each experience very personable. She remembers my name, what i order and makes recommendations on what she thinks I will like, remembers where I work and asks me about it. I love the morning crowd that is in here whenever I come in. They always put a smile on my face. I love the variety of local vendors that sell there items. There are so many different interesting things to choose from. I love that when I come buy here I am not only supporting local but also supporting a small local owned business that also supports local artists. Not to mention the garlic chicken salad sandwich that is amazing! While I am not a vegan or look for gluten free options this shop supplies so many options. My daughters love visiting this shop with me on Saturdays or when we all happen to have a day off. If you get an opportunity definitely check them out. You will leave with a smile on your face!
My family and I are traveling and came to this amazing place for breakfast today. I have Celiac disease and finding good gluten free options can be very difficult. Hotel continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I found this place on my Find GF now app, and wow did it impress!! It’s in a quaint area located in an old train depot station. The energy and vibe of the restaurant is so warm and welcoming. We were greeted right away with smiles and seated. Menu offered a plethora of choices, many choices for GF like waffles, pancakes, and French toast. I had eggs, bacon, fried potatoes (which omg amazing!) and GF french toast which was absolutely delicious!! My daughter had the chicken and waffles and said it was amazing! Her boyfriend had Gouda and Brie omelette and said best he ever had! Hubs had eggs, fried potatoes and bacon with rye toast which he said was soooo good and nice to have the option. Coffee…also amazing!! The restaurant was very clean and had a country urban feel to it. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Also, another thing we loved is that they had some super cute pins and stickers that represented LBGTQ+. In the bathrooms there were printed signs that offered help for anyone who may be in an unsafe and/or abusive situation. They also use paper straws which is a small and meaningful way to help our environment along with wildlife and sea life. Little things make a big impact! All these things add up to an amazing experience! One that we were proud to spend our money and time at. If you’re near Batesville, and looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch, I highly recommend here. Thank you!!
Fantastic local place !! must stop in your visit to Indiana !! Food is good excellent and the service is out of this world !! Ana is an excellent hostess !!
PS they have gluten-free pancakes and they are the bomb
I've been here a few times now. The doughnuts are incredible every time. I'm not a fan of any of the coffees or their matcha with regular sweetener or honey. They don't get very sweet, which is fine if you're not very big on sweeter drinks. Also, in the past I've ordered beverages from parlour doughnuts with almond milk but when I visited today I was told they don't offer any non-dairy milks, which was pretty disappointing. I enjoyed their avocado toast with gluten free bread, it was yummy, but the egg looked to be poor quality on par with CFA eggs (being health conscious I always opt for pasture raised, organic eggs and they are much more orange in colour) so that could use some improvement. Drive-through service is always friendly.
Reasonably priced food for ths atmosphere and food presentation/freshness. It was really good. The bacon was so yummy. They also have gluten free bread!
What a great place for an informal meeting! I love all the food options, vegetarian and gluten free. Drinks are GREAT!! Staff is informed and nice too.
Wow!!! Now I know why everyone raves about this place. The food was delicious and the bakery was incredible! They have Gluten Free peanut butter cookies to die for along with GF cupcakes and regular bakery items that i wanted to take home and eat all of them!!
Omg this place is ahhhmazing! So chill, relaxing and the food & coffee is great! Good decaf & sugar free options for coffee. We got the bacon & cheese gallete + a gluten free cinnamon roll THEY WERE SO GOOD 💗💗
Highly recommend. Cute donut shop with kind staff. We went specifically for the gluten free donuts for our 7yo and we were surprised at having options to pick from. Their other (regular, non-GF) donuts are good too! Our other kids enjoyed their donuts too.
