I am not vegan or vegetarian. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked zest. I got the mushroom alfredo pasta and it was so good. We also got nachos to share - which if you don’t think about it as nachos and more just a chip and dip dish then it’s delicious. The roll was also pretty good and the dessert was amazing
This Mexican restaurant is 100% gluten free and free from seed oils. Their food is fresh, healthy and delicious. I highly recommend. I tried their homemade chips and salsa, enchilada and fajita and everything was delicious. It is a little on the pricier side though.
I love the food at Vertical Diner. Everything is vegan and there are many clearly labeled gluten free options. Once in a while the service is “off,” but I’ve been going here for years and it is one of my favorite places to eat in SLC.
Connor was the one helping our table. He was very helpful and kind and making sure everything was fine. And always asking us if we needed anything else. My daughter could not eat gluten and he made sure that her food was safe to eat. Great and delicious experience!!! I will definitely come again.

PF Chang's impressed me from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern and traditional Asian-inspired decor. The staff is attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu.
PF Chang’s is a fantastic option for anyone needing gluten-free choices. I tried the gluten-free Mongolian Beef and gluten-free Fried Rice. I was blown away! The beef was tender, the sauce perfectly balanced, and the flavors were bold and delicious. The Fried Rice was the best I have ever had blending the same bold flavors and taste as the Mongolian Beef. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring my meal was prepared safely, which gave me so much confidence in their handling of gluten-free meals.
It’s rare to find a place where you feel this cared for with dietary restrictions. I highly recommend PF Chang’s if you’re celiac or gluten-sensitive – delicious food and peace of mind all in one!
Our server, Creed, was friendly and engaging. The Manager, Aaron, stopped by our table to check on us. We had a wonderful conversation with Aaron.
The food and service are simply outstanding. I give a solid five-star rating!
First off, I'm from out of town and these guys are way way better then Spencer's. Secondly, I have celiacs and they guided me on what to order and I didn't get sick. I'm writing this the next day so if you have celiacs you know. Third, the wine in all bottles is protected by argon, which is heavier than air. You'll never have a bad wine at this place and they have a selection. Fourth, service is great. Fifth, food was great. If I come back to Salt Lake, I'll bring my fellow travelers here. With that I give them 5 stars on every thing.
Delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Alex the owner was so funny and inviting. I just wish they would learn to make their Alfredo sauce gluten-free and have at least one gluten-free dessert option. The gluten-free pasta was cooked to perfection!
It's usually okay, I have to eat gluten free and they have some options. This last time though I tried to get a steak rice bowl that was marked gluten free on the menu. They said the steak they used for it wasn't gluten free, and brought it out to me without any protein on it. I would've been fine with that but they still charged me full price for the STEAK rice bowl with no STEAK. Would've been nice to see them offer any of the other GF meats they have or at least not make me pay full steak price for a bowl of rice and raw vegetables.
We stop at the blue pig every year we go to Moab for rodeo good food. They have options for me I have Graves disease and hyperthyroidism and autoimmune and gluten allergy.
I ordered a gluten free pizza to be picked up. The order was $45.07 for a 12 inch pizza. I specified on the ticket that I’m allergic to gluten. First they got my order wrong, and gave me someone else’s pizza (presumably not gluten free!) and then when they gave me what I ordered, it was essentially feta cheese sprinkled on bread with zero sauce. I am so unbelievably disappointed and will never come back.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, especially when it comes to dietary needs.
As someone who eats gluten-free, I was thrilled to see so many safe and clearly marked options. From the corn tortillas to the rich, savory enchiladas, I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. They even offered gluten-free chips and made sure there was no cross-contamination.
The guacamole is a must-order—super creamy with the perfect balance of lime and spice. I also loved the carne asada tacos and the chicken mole, which had incredible depth of flavor.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with great gluten-free choices (without sacrificing taste!), this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back.
Every time I visit SLC, I make it a point to go to White Horse because the food, cocktails, servers, and vibe are all on point. This most recent visit, I had the burger without a bun to make it gluten-free. The burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The simple arugula side salad and the pickles are my favorite additions to any meal there. Get an extra side of pickles if you typically love pickles. You won't be disappointed. I had two cocktails: Beneath the Pines (gin-based, herby, bright) and Tainted Love (vodka-based with citrus, cucumber, and floral) that I would absolutely order again. Both were so refreshing and unique and NOT sugary sweet. Get to the White Horse and spend time to savor everything.
This is the second time we've been here and both times the food and service was top notch. They also can make most of their menu items gluten free if needed. I highly recommend Wood Ash Rye!
Absolutely lovely evening. Super tasty and Andrea our server was incredible. Also they have Gluten Free and other food allergies labeled on the menu and we really appreciate that.
Great place! Very accommodating and knowledgeable about alternatives for gluten-free. Waiting staff was also awesome! Open table said there were no reservation available but went anyway and our group of 3 got a table almost immediately. Second time, made a reservation for 6 and was able to change to 8 before showing up. Would definitely go back and have the Elk!
Had a great experience here! I ordered the mushroom omelette and had gluten free bread with it that was delicious. It was a savory focaccia style bread with green olives which you can rarely find gluten free, so I was really happy about that. The server was friendly and the outdoor patio in the shade was the perfect atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
Oh capitan, my capitan (it'll make sense when you see their uniform tags). I went last Friday for the first time with my husband's work party and WOW. I'm just going to list all the incredible things so I don't go on and on about each portion of the drinks and meal that were my favorite (because who has an hour to listen to me talk about it?!). The espresso martini, the wagu steak special, the seafood tower, the brussel sprouts, the seared tenderloin with poached lobster tails, the smells of literally the whole 10 top we had, the incredible waiter that was SO attentive to my gluten allergy after I told him I had Celiac, and finally...the Noble Paloma cocktail! Everything was absolutely exceptional and our waiter, Alex, was the BEST. Definitely want to go back and it'll probably be soon, after I've been raving about it to everyone I know since.
Located inside the Hyatt Hotel connected to the Salt Lake Palace Convention Center. Ohhhh this is worth a stop! The food was high quality and you can tell the chef took time to pair the foods beautifully. The oysters were by far the best that I've had in years. Scallop was amazing but the shining star was the Uni toast.... Never having had sea urchin like that it was a beautiful crunchy and smooth combination. For dessert we had the lemon custard and the hot chocolate. While I would prefer a few more gluten-free options or modifications I will be coming back to try the lunch menu! Additionally the sound level is perfect. You can still hear your neighbor and it's not loud and equally. Perfect to take someone who has hearing loss.
My go-to Chinese take-out place! The food is always so good, fast, a great price, and I love all the customizations they offer (gluten free, brown rice, spice level, etc.). Best Chinese in Salt Lake!
This place is exceptional! Al was our waiter and he was very attentive, nice, and answered all of my questions. I found out that the owner is Brazilian and there are two more locations in Brazil. The way they renovated the space from the old restaurant before is so well done. Very chic and high end now.
I ordered the lamb chops which were outstanding. The pear dessert was also amazing. I have an allergy to gluten but Al helped me determine what was and was not safe on the menu. Most everything can be altered to be gluten free if it isn’t already. The pear dessert is the only gf dessert option.
Definitely recommend Libertango. There’s nothing else like it in the area and they are also open for lunch.

The Christmas parlor was awesome for a Christmas nerd like me. The drinks and themed food were awesome!!
Leo is the best, totally took care of us. The staff here is awesome! They even checked into some liquor to be sure it was gluten free.
The best!
