Good option to try if you are gluten free, not sure about some risk with contamination as all good in the same kitchen and unsure if fried in the same fryer. Was delicious and good options to choose from. Good for a quick on the go meal
Great place! As a newly gluten intolerant person it's nice to have a place where I can shop for suitable snacks, as well as grab a quick bite!
The atmosphere is great and the service is amazing, the cashiers are always super nice.
Thank you guys!
For GF the food was very tasty and the sandwich’s were a big hit, the time it took for the food to come however was around30 minutes for 2 sandwich’s and there weren’t many tables. The coffee also came out cold. But overall was a good place to try
Fantastic little cafe for people like me who are allergic to gluten, wheat and dairy. The staff were fantastic at explaining everything and the food was delicious 😋
Nice 100% gluten-free café, overall safe for celiacs. The only thing not gluten-free is the oat milk though. I personally did not care for the taste of the coffee but the sandwiches and cookies are good.
An absolutely fantastic place to have breakfast or brunch! Super friendly personnel, and a very cozy place! They have a lot of gluten free dishes. Totally recommend checking them out when in Budapest.
We came here for a refreshing drink in the scorching heat of Book Week. We only knew the name of the place, we didn't know what to expect inside. Then we were literally amazed. A huge collection of relics on the walls: guitars, clothes, records, posters, autographs from the history of rock from Janis Joplin to Elvis Presley to Jon Bon Jovi. We turn our heads from our booth, then bravely take photos of the walls. One of the waiters kindly encourages us to take a look around upstairs, as there are three levels. And we run up to the shop, then to the beginning of the next level, unfortunately the stairs are already closed there, so we can't see the upper level. However, we get into a great mood from the Bruce Springsteen song, Born in the USA, which pleasantly sticks to us in the background. We drink our lemonades, which are also pleasing to the eye, and they are absolutely delicious. The only drawback is that they only have oat milk as an alternative milk, which gluten-sensitive people can't drink, even though this is often combined with a milk sensitivity, as I have, but oat milk is the only alternative that is not an option (anything else: almond, rice, pea, coconut... would be good). So I end up giving up coffee.
However, looking at the menu, I realize that I have to come back here, since they offer gluten-free dishes, which we didn't try because we had lunch before. So there will be a reason to come back. Because I like the atmosphere of the place so much, besides everything, that I suddenly felt like living the rocker life.
Everything is very tasty. All the dishes I ate here were very tasty. The concept of the establishment is dishes without sugar, gluten and lactose. There are no queues. You can always park right there by the window.
I've had celiac disease for 24 years, and I've never had a cream as delicious as this one in my life! Everything else I ordered was divine (a variety of sweet and savory cookies), but I wouldn't miss the cream one!😍😍😍
Nice discovery of this place in Budapest, you can have both sweet and savory breakfast, various options for all tastes even for celiacs, the food is of quality, the service is efficient (in only one case we were greeted by an incompetent and exalted girl) the young people who welcome and serve have proven to be patient and professional, the prices are in line with the quality, highly recommended!
Very patient with our family having two toddlers and kind service and staff. Great breakfast option! Really appreciated the gluten free options as well and catering to dietary needs.
I was here with my family and can strongly recommend this cozy place. I have gluten allergy and they were very helpful and assisted me in finding something for me. I was stupid and added some beans from the plate of one of the other guests I was with, and the nice staff came running to tell me it contained gluten, and insisted to make me a new plate to make sure I was safe - even though it was completely my own fault. Amazing service from the sweetest staff 🥹 and the food and the vibe was also amazing!
A cozy place with interesting dishes, of which, unfortunately, we were unable to put together a vegan version even upon request. It would be great if there was at least one vegan main course. The hot syrup is very delicious and it's great that there is a gluten-free bun for the burger.
Great food, great service! Hard to find good service in Budapest and I was pleased with this place! Food came quick and the staff were quite nice :) gluten free bread available
The food was amazing and extremely flavorful. There were lots of gluten free options and our waiter Shakh was knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. Would 100% recommend.
Brunch in the jungle
The scene is amazing with all the plants and the interior is beautifully green. You can even plant your own tree!
The food is good. Nice portions, good flavour and good price. Also gluten free options
We were with a big group and the service was excellent. Everything came at the same time and we were welcomed very pleasant
On Sunday, there were six of us at the place, where we spent a few hours in a very good mood. The service was first class thanks to Gianni and the food was very tasty. A special positive is that quite a few of the dishes on the menu can also be prepared in a gluten-free version.
Everything was delicious. The food arrived faster than we expected, and we really enjoyed it.
Evelin is a wonderful waitress.
We would love more gluten-free options!
We have been served by the amazing Benjamin !!! Such a jovial person with great service. Also the place was great too , with gluten free options for us with celiac disease.. again thank you Benjamin for your services and your cheerful vibe.
A bit unprofessional service, but friendly. Nice atmosphere, but nothing special. Good food. I had the gluten-free version and the “bread” was rubbery and not very good. The coffee was very good.
Great spot for some brunch. Allergens are clearly marked on the menu and you can swap to have gluten free bagels for all brunches. We had the avocado bagel with salmon and the scrambled eggs. Both were very tasty and well portioned. They also make a great coffee. The service is a bit slow but it’s a pretty chilled breakfast. I would recommend this place for a relaxing meal.
A very pleasant place, suitable for studying and working! The cakes are very delicious and it is worth mentioning that there is a sugar-free and gluten-free, vegan selection as well!
This is the second time I order from them and I got a delicious Burger. My gluten-free request was served in a very good atmosphere and kindly. I also got a smiley on the package with a pen. Five stars for me! :)
The food was tasty, we had the goulash soup, but it took a very long time to arrive. Getting the attention of the staff was also a challenge. A plus was that in addition to an extensive dessert menu, they also have a dessert without sugar and without gluten. A big mistake was that when paying there was a choice between tipping 12 or 15%, we wanted to pay 12% but the waiter clicked on 15% after we said 12, not very nice.
Impressive interior! Very cute design. Never have seen anything like this. We enjoyed our dinner here: good service, tasty food, and lots of cocktails to choose from! They have a good wine menu too, including both cheap and expensive options. They were able to accommodate Gluten Free options: instead of pita they serve cucumbers that you can enjoy alongside with the traditional Jewish dishes like hummus and etc.
This is a lovely place with great vibes .The pastries looked delicious, and the orange gluten-free cake I had was truly tasty. The lemonade was also very refreshing, and I’ve tried the coffee on a previous visit , it’s definitely a good one.
The service can be a bit mixed, sometimes very friendly, other times a bit rushed, especially when asking about ingredients….It would be wonderful to see more gluten-free savory options on the menu.
Overall, it’s a great place to relax
Very good espresso and cappuccino. Incredible gluten free selection. Service is a bit slow and not too friendly but we got through it. Definitely worth the effort even if it is a bit touristy!
If you’re in Budapest and looking for a stylish yet welcoming spot, Honey: Brunch, Coffee, Bar is a must-visit! Nestled in a charming part of the city, this place seamlessly combines the best of brunch, quality coffee, and vibrant bar vibes.
The brunch menu is a highlight. Whether you’re in the mood for classic eggs Benedict, fluffy pancakes, or something more unique like their honey-drizzled specialties, every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They also cater to dietary preferences with vegetarian and gluten-free options.
For coffee lovers, this spot is paradise. The coffee selection is expertly crafted, and their honey latte is a standout—perfectly sweetened without overpowering the rich espresso flavor. It’s an ideal place to unwind or enjoy a quiet moment with a book or a laptop.
In the evening, Honey transforms into a lively bar, offering a curated list of cocktails, wines, and craft beers. Their honey-themed cocktails are both creative and delicious, giving a nod to the name and adding a unique touch to the menu.
The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between trendy and cozy, with friendly staff who make you feel at home. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Budapest, Honey is the perfect spot to enjoy any time of day. I can’t wait to go back!
I’m gluten intolerant. I asked the staff twice what they can prepare that’s safe for me to eat and each time they gave different information. In the end they served me food they said was gluten free but I got sick from it so clearly it wasn’t…
Just exceptionnal. Cocktails are delightful, service is impecable and enjoyable. Original recipes cooked perfectly. There is even gluten free options like bread, desserts etc.
Gluten-free beer. We had a wonderful dinner. Very friendly waiters. Daniel the best of the bar, very attentive. We were in Budapest for five days and I would return to this place a hundred times.
