Good option to try if you are gluten free, not sure about some risk with contamination as all good in the same kitchen and unsure if fried in the same fryer. Was delicious and good options to choose from. Good for a quick on the go meal
We visited this place for dinner. This particular restaurant is more for takeaways so it’s pretty small but they have a few tables available so you can also eat there. The place is completely gluten free so there is no risk of cross contamination.
We tried two types of pasta, both tasted great! The pistachio tiramisu was okay but it didn’t taste much of pistachio and it wasn’t fresh so I don’t recommend ordering that.
The service was fast, warm and welcoming. The guy working there was very nice to us and also spoke fluent English.
Small suggestions I’d have:
- have the menu in English too
- add the original spaghetti carbonara to the menu (the one they have is with cream)
Great place! As a newly gluten intolerant person it's nice to have a place where I can shop for suitable snacks, as well as grab a quick bite!
The atmosphere is great and the service is amazing, the cashiers are always super nice.
Thank you guys!
For GF the food was very tasty and the sandwich’s were a big hit, the time it took for the food to come however was around30 minutes for 2 sandwich’s and there weren’t many tables. The coffee also came out cold. But overall was a good place to try
Fantastic little cafe for people like me who are allergic to gluten, wheat and dairy. The staff were fantastic at explaining everything and the food was delicious 😋
Nice 100% gluten-free café, overall safe for celiacs. The only thing not gluten-free is the oat milk though. I personally did not care for the taste of the coffee but the sandwiches and cookies are good.
An absolutely fantastic place to have breakfast or brunch! Super friendly personnel, and a very cozy place! They have a lot of gluten free dishes. Totally recommend checking them out when in Budapest.
A small shop where you can buy gluten-free food.
Simply enjoy between ready-made foods or delicious cakes or hearty rolls from the counter without any worries.
Worth a visit.
We came here for a refreshing drink in the scorching heat of Book Week. We only knew the name of the place, we didn't know what to expect inside. Then we were literally amazed. A huge collection of relics on the walls: guitars, clothes, records, posters, autographs from the history of rock from Janis Joplin to Elvis Presley to Jon Bon Jovi. We turn our heads from our booth, then bravely take photos of the walls. One of the waiters kindly encourages us to take a look around upstairs, as there are three levels. And we run up to the shop, then to the beginning of the next level, unfortunately the stairs are already closed there, so we can't see the upper level. However, we get into a great mood from the Bruce Springsteen song, Born in the USA, which pleasantly sticks to us in the background. We drink our lemonades, which are also pleasing to the eye, and they are absolutely delicious. The only drawback is that they only have oat milk as an alternative milk, which gluten-sensitive people can't drink, even though this is often combined with a milk sensitivity, as I have, but oat milk is the only alternative that is not an option (anything else: almond, rice, pea, coconut... would be good). So I end up giving up coffee.
However, looking at the menu, I realize that I have to come back here, since they offer gluten-free dishes, which we didn't try because we had lunch before. So there will be a reason to come back. Because I like the atmosphere of the place so much, besides everything, that I suddenly felt like living the rocker life.
Everything is very tasty. All the dishes I ate here were very tasty. The concept of the establishment is dishes without sugar, gluten and lactose. There are no queues. You can always park right there by the window.
Unfortunately, gluten-free food is completely new to me and today's order only added to my basic uncertainty. I saw how well-reviewed the place was and immediately liked it, but after WOLT delivered my order, I was saddened to see how big the portion was. I know that WOLT works with a fairly high commission, but I was still surprised by how bad the price-value ratio was. I don't question the positive comments written by others, but if we're being realistic, this is not worth 3000 HUF...
If Wolt works with such a high commission, you should think about how this will affect your service in the future, because I'm sure there will be other ignorant customers.
By the way, I know that you have to pay if the unfortunate person can't eat gluten, but these portions are still ridiculous and it wasn't a great experience either.
I've had celiac disease for 24 years, and I've never had a cream as delicious as this one in my life! Everything else I ordered was divine (a variety of sweet and savory cookies), but I wouldn't miss the cream one!😍😍😍
Nice discovery of this place in Budapest, you can have both sweet and savory breakfast, various options for all tastes even for celiacs, the food is of quality, the service is efficient (in only one case we were greeted by an incompetent and exalted girl) the young people who welcome and serve have proven to be patient and professional, the prices are in line with the quality, highly recommended!
Very patient with our family having two toddlers and kind service and staff. Great breakfast option! Really appreciated the gluten free options as well and catering to dietary needs.
Middle Eastern/Mediterranean inspired small plates made for sharing, very generous portions, recommend about 2 plates per person. Lots of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Very relaxed laidback atmosphere and cute interior. The staff were very nice and service was very fast.
I went by myself and got 2 plates plus a pita bread and I was very full and very happy. I got the Hummus Ma Lahma (homemade hummus, lamb and beef ragout, chickpeas) it was very nice and had amazing flavour, it wasn’t very spicy, and the hummus was so creamy and smooth. Unfortunately they had a busy day so were out of tabouleh and fattoush salad, so instead the waiter recommended the Pomegranate Chicken Liver (baharat spiced chicken liver, pomegranate syrup, tahini, pine nuts) which was nice but I wish I had gotten something else; for me personally, the pomegranate sauce was quiet sweet, and I’ve never tried liver before so the texture threw me off a bit and I got the ick after about 2/3 of the way through(but at least I tried something new), however it was very nice and full of flavour, the meat was cooked perfectly and everything was well balanced, but just wasn’t personally for me. The pita bread was SO light and fluffy and fresh, it was perfect.
Reservation highly recommended.
I was here with my family and can strongly recommend this cozy place. I have gluten allergy and they were very helpful and assisted me in finding something for me. I was stupid and added some beans from the plate of one of the other guests I was with, and the nice staff came running to tell me it contained gluten, and insisted to make me a new plate to make sure I was safe - even though it was completely my own fault. Amazing service from the sweetest staff 🥹 and the food and the vibe was also amazing!
A cozy place with interesting dishes, of which, unfortunately, we were unable to put together a vegan version even upon request. It would be great if there was at least one vegan main course. The hot syrup is very delicious and it's great that there is a gluten-free bun for the burger.
The most delicious food in all of Budapest. We went several times during our stay. They have gluten-free options, the portions are generous, and the desserts are delicious. They have gluten-free options in almost all of their dishes; more than 90% of the menu can be gluten-free.
Great food, great service! Hard to find good service in Budapest and I was pleased with this place! Food came quick and the staff were quite nice :) gluten free bread available
Several of us ordered from the restaurant, but as a gluten-sensitive person, my burger was the only one that was left out....for lunch, the fries were all in themselves...there's always something left out...I haven't received my money back yet
The sweetest two young ladies working the counter will make sure you get exactly what you want, even when you tell them the wrong thing bc you’re a silly American! Great matcha latte and americano with vegan & gluten free food
Brunch in the jungle
The scene is amazing with all the plants and the interior is beautifully green. You can even plant your own tree!
The food is good. Nice portions, good flavour and good price. Also gluten free options
We were with a big group and the service was excellent. Everything came at the same time and we were welcomed very pleasant
On Sunday, there were six of us at the place, where we spent a few hours in a very good mood. The service was first class thanks to Gianni and the food was very tasty. A special positive is that quite a few of the dishes on the menu can also be prepared in a gluten-free version.
Everything was delicious. The food arrived faster than we expected, and we really enjoyed it.
Evelin is a wonderful waitress.
We would love more gluten-free options!
We have been served by the amazing Benjamin !!! Such a jovial person with great service. Also the place was great too , with gluten free options for us with celiac disease.. again thank you Benjamin for your services and your cheerful vibe.
What an exceptional dinner! Everything was fantastic, and our waiter, David, was the epitome of professionalism. He took such great care of us! As someone with gluten intolerance, I was particularly impressed by how carefully he ensured my experience was flawless, despite my dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this place—great food and outstanding service!
A bit unprofessional service, but friendly. Nice atmosphere, but nothing special. Good food. I had the gluten-free version and the “bread” was rubbery and not very good. The coffee was very good.
Great spot for some brunch. Allergens are clearly marked on the menu and you can swap to have gluten free bagels for all brunches. We had the avocado bagel with salmon and the scrambled eggs. Both were very tasty and well portioned. They also make a great coffee. The service is a bit slow but it’s a pretty chilled breakfast. I would recommend this place for a relaxing meal.
