Great little Cafe in the middle of Deep Cove. Coffee is good, baked goods are really great - freshly made each day. Iris the manager made us a special Gluten free cake at our request a couple of years back - awesome. Staffed with young people from the local area which I also like. Don't forget to check out the patio/deck out back to get away from the busy main deep Cove Street, or sit out front and watch the people sound their thing.
This was such an amazing experience! They were so willing with work with my celiac! They had so many gluten free options and the staff were so knowledgeable!! Definitely a repeat!!

The food and the service was fantastic. Most items are gluten free, and if you ask, the owner is very clear about which items are not gf or are fried with non gf items. Really great experience. I will definitely be back!

We came here for a quick lunch as we knew the food was reliable. They didn’t disappoint as we all gobbled up our food after a day of moving. We ordered the seafood fettuccine, beef dip & avocado impossible burger. The avocado burger was a nice change & wouldn’t hesitate to order it again. With all burgers you can choose to have it wrapped in lettuce instead of the bun. There’s gluten free past too.
Service was decent considering they were busy & short staffed. Great experience!
Came during happy hour and got a seat on the outdoor rooftop area, great views of the city and water. While we waited (10 min) for our seat my husband was given a glass of complimentary bubbles. We had the burger, beer, frozen lemonade, and grilled chicken club (gluten free bun was great!). Our server Taylor was efficient and friendly!!
I have celiac and this was by far one of my best restaurant experiences! The staff were very knowledgeable and even made sure to check that my drink was safe to have. The food was delicious as always. I’ve been to this location multiple times and I’ll definitely be back!
Came here for brunch shortly after they opened at 10 am on a Saturday. Had their Tan Tan Ramen (non-spicy version). It was tasty! The gluten-free version comes with rice noodles instead of the regular homemade noodles. The butternut squash broth was tasty! It was definitely on the thinner, lighter side, and not as rich as your traditional ramen broth (which we expected). The kale and nut medley were good textural additions! They also sell a variety of plant-based treats at the front counter, and refrigerated and pantry items. I picked up a rice crispy treat to-go.
Staff bring you the food, but diners clear their own table. Friendly service and there is lots of street parking in the area! I came to use my Plant Curious coupon, but also knew of the café previously having purchased their mochi cake mix (by The Plant Based Workshop) at an event last year. I don't live in the area, but would recommend and would be happy to return again!
Great little corner coffee shop across from a park! Has a few tables inside Adirondack chairs out front to relax in. Good hot and cold cafe and tea lattes. Variety of savoury and sweet hand held food (including gluten-free options) to complete the snack or light meal. Helpful staff. Good neighborhood meeting spot!
A shopping trip to North Vancouver lead us to Buddha-Full for lunch. To fully check out the menu, I clicked the Order Now button, where there are more items, and I can check 'Nut allergy' or Gluten 'allergy', select all kinds of Add Ons, check boxes on the 'No List' and the Sub menu. They are Buddha by name only – while Buddhists don't eat garlic – some of the menu items here contain garlic 😟. I ordered the Wild Heart Bowl with the miso ginger sauce, substituting stewed lentils with tofu, my partner ordered the Grilled Please Panini. Both looked good. I found the tofu a bit too dry and hard. The sauce was good. The sandwich was very good and so was the sourdough. We also tried the chestnut latte, but the foam milk was underwhelming. Then, I discovered that the entire 2nd shelf of their sweet treats display is gluten free. These days, because I have so many allergies, I have to check all the ingredients before I try anything, and not being to see what the sweets are made of means I didn't feel safe enough to try anything. I did buy the GF Almond Energy Bar which my partner enjoyed. Most of their customers behave like regulars. If I live near this place, I would become a regular as well.
As a local I go here frequently, there are not a lot of choices in Deep Cove and for sure we are lucky to have Arms Reach. Although it's not as busy in the winter its enough to make the atmosphere what it needs to be for a rainy winter night - cosy. It's not the cheapest option but you know your going to have a quality dining experience and a good time, every time and that is worth the price. I do occasionally get a bit bored of the menu, but that is because I'm there quite a bit and have gluten sensitivity - and the specials do help out with some extra variety. For sure worth a visit, book in the summer or expect an hour plus wait, due to its place by the ocean in the heart of Deepcove.
The staff was so friendly, service was quick. I have celiac disease and one of the owners came out to ensure my dietary restrictions were taken into account. She brought my food to me and confirmed all precautions were taken to avoid cross contamination. The pasta was the best pasta I have ever tasted, my husband couldn’t even taste that my pasta was gluten free.
Highly recommend Alberello!!
I’ve been to white spot many times in my life, but this experience was one of my favourites. We had a server named Gemma, she was fun and very sweet to my two sons. We recently discovered that one of my sons has a gluten allergy, and Gemma was very helpful in finding all the options for him, and reassuring she would let the kitchen know. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday brunch with my family.
Although we were more recently at the Lynn Valley location (which was also great), we have had many good experiences at this location. A really big shoutout to Darcy (because even though he shared he is usually at the Upper Lonsdale location he was at the Lynn Valley location today). He was attentive and thoughtful regarding a gluten allergy and went a step beyond by providing the gluten free brownie dessert after a really lovely meal and shared how he knows it isn’t always easy to come across a nice gluten free dessert. It was such a wonderful and thoughtful detail that went a long way for us. These are moments that make a customer feel special and cared for - and unashamed despite dietary restrictions/allergies. I wish for everyone who is impacted by food allergies and restrictions to be treated with such kindness, respect, and in this case, additional generosity. Thank you, Darcy and Brown’s for a really wonderful experience.
I am on the search for restaurants that offer GF anything. (I am not celiac). I was pleasantly surprised to see they had GF buns on offer for the burger ($3 up charge). With this up charge my expectations were high. When the burger arrived it looked unusual with white spots on the top, shriveled and flat. All for research I thought give it shot… it was horrible the bun was freezer burned, the beef in the burger was dry and bland, no sauce! thank goodness for ketchup that I added!
I would say this was the worst burger ever! I let the waiter know it was horrible. His comment was I will let the “chef” know and then started to explain to me how buns get freezer burn! He missed one point it properly was at the bottom of the freezer for a VERY long time. If you can’t serve a good GF bun don’t offer it!
The burger for $25 not worth the price every with out the GF. As I ate the beef only. I should have complained more but I did not
A word to the chef/cook If it’s freezer burned don’t serve it!
cozy fun atmosphere and absolutely delicious, quality food! the house made gluten free pasta is a wonderful option for gluten free folk. we especially love the pasta prosciutto e zucca (squash puree campanelle) and the flourless chocolate cake. the servers are all friendly and fun, and we always leave with smiles and full bellies!
We loved our dinner here. I had the salmon plate, which was Gluten free. It was cooked to perfection and the potatoes with the mustard sauce were absolutely divine. My husband had the Canadian AAA steak; mouthwatering!!
It was perfect for us that it was in the Bridge park, while it may have been more pricey for that reason, it was beyond convenient!
Ooooh looky what I found at Delany's today:
Nothing less than The Actual Factual Meaning Of Life! In a cup of deliciously warming coffee. (I wait in wonder with baited breath for when enlightenment will ensue).
I am LOVING that Delany's Lynn Valley now offers a small but tasty selection of specialised dietary options in their baked goods! I am seeing a regular smattering of vegan, sugar free, or gluten free muffins, energy bars and even scones.
The servers are friendly and quick on their feet, and represent the beautiful diversity our glorious nation.
Keep up the good work! Five stars for this review.
We ordered Uber from Burgoo whilst visiting North Vancouver. The Beef Burgundy was delicious and comforting after days of travel. The meat was tender and served on mashed potatoes. Since I am gluten free, this was a nice option. We ordered the donuts for dessert and they weren’t my cup of tea….too salty!
I ordered all of the vegan and gluten free menu items and the hibiscus ice tea. Everything was delish!! It was kind of fun to order at the kiosk and have food come out on the cute conveyor belt. It's a really nice dining room too, the decor is festive and tasteful. I'll be back.
We booked a large party event at the Northwoods patio and had a great experience from the time of inquiry to the end of the event. They have a great outdoor space and our group had a private nook tucked away from the rest of the tables.
Kat helped me with the booking and was great with answering my many questions, coordinating the event and ensuring we were looked after leading up to the day.
Miranda served our group and did a fantastic job keeping up and kept a smile on her face the whole time.
Overall a great experience and our guests had a great time. I would book with Good Co again.
If I had any suggestions, it would be having a couple of options for those who need gluten-free on the starter menu.

We were desperately searching for something on the menu for my celiac son and they casually announced that they could make gluten-free pannekoeken! Everyone was happy, food was fun and tasty. Would definitely go back.
This is my go to place to eat when I am starving and know the food is reliable. I had their usual fish burger with salad. If you have an aversion to gluten or bread, ask to have the burger wrapped in lettuce. A bit messy but worth it. There are other food choices but if you’re a legendary burger fan, go for it!
With the times of inflation, consider their happy hour from 2 – 5 pm and after 8 pm every day. A good selection of beer, bellinis’ or wine. There’s 3 categories of various appies at $6, $8, $10. They also have daily drink specials depending on the day of the week such as ‘Tapped Tuesdays’ - $1 off Nat’s on Tap. Regardless you can’t go wrong at any White Spot. Service was prompt and efficient.
We were accidentally given gluten which made my friend extremely sick but decided to give the restaurant another shot. So I made a reservation for my best friends birthday, confirmed by email. When we showed up they said we didn’t have a reservation and turned us away without offering any options.
I was taken aback by the quality of this cafe as it had many positive reviews. Firstly, there aren’t nearly as many food options as it seems online. There are no gluten free options outside of two dessert bars. The veggie breakfast sandwich was heated up in the microwave, was under seasoned, and contained an overcooked egg, two spinach leaves, a few sun-dried tomatoes and a tiny piece of feta. They got one of two drinks wrong (it was supposed to be iced). The matcha wasn’t flavorful. I would have given it fewer stars but the cappuccino was average.

Just had the juiciest burger and buffalo wings that made my taste buds do a happy dance! If you’re not afraid to loosen your belt, this place is a must!
Btw I’m gluten free so they made me a lettuce-wrapped burger!
