My sister has celiac and I have always hated gf food. But the cinnamon rolls are great and taste maybe even better than the gluten-ful counterpart. My sister was kinda sad that they didn't have any iced coffees but besides that this is a great stop.
Food is extremely healthy though what you see online is not necessarily what is available in person. At the time we went, there was supposedly something going on with the oven to where staff was having to cook one gluten-free pita at a time and the waitress compared the experience of waiting for our orders to waiting for water to boil.
The ingredients for extremely fresh, for sure. Most of the meals, savory. But it was very expensive.
My husband ordered his buffalo burger on the rare side (it needs to be undercooked not to overdry) and it came out medium well, very dry and with some grizzle in it, to boot. The waitress apologized and immediately offered to get a new one made. She said the burger would be compted but then clarified that the new burger would be comped (you were seriously going to charge for getting the order right?).
Overall, decent healthy food but very expensive.
The best place to eat in Santa fe. Make sure you get in line by 4pm for an in person reservation. Many gluten-free options. Almost all the deserts are gluten-free.
Casual and homey. Loved the enchiladas and huevos rancheros. Also had the salmon tacos and, tres peaches, wedding cookies, and gluten-free pie. Well priced. Will definitely stop by again!
The best🎉 vegan restaurant my family and I visited so far in the USA🌞👌🌟. We were passing by Santa Fe and needed to choose a place to eat. Being vegetarians, we always try to find good vegan or vegetarian places to eat. And, after finding this restaurant and seeing some bad reviews that people of Indian origin wrote I knew I would love the place: if they think the food isn't spicy🔥🔥 enough for them it means that people CAN actually eat it and not burn the hole in their stomachs and feel all the flavors and shades of different vegetables and varieties of delicious dishes. I have lived in India, and I can relate. Plus, with us we had a doctor who does some energetic healing 🧘♀️🧘 and it was his first experience of eating Vata-Pitta-Kappha balanced food and he said he felt energetically much better after having it (he had some stressfull days prior)- he got the "South Indian Sampler" dish wich is all doshas balansing (the menu said that).
Special thank you for your vegan and gluten free sweets: it's really rare find to get that good of the deserts that are tasty and won't give you a diabetic coma :))). Just enough amount of sugar for me❤️
Very friendly and caring personell🤗.
Will come again to eat here when visiting this beautiful and vibrant city😎💓🫶💫
The Santa Fe Teahouse is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or lunch while exploring Canyon Road and the historic Eastside. The London Fog teas are incredible (try the Santa Fe fog) and the gluten free scones are the best I've ever had. The whole menu is great and the staff are lovely.
Thankfully they have a lot of gluten-free options. That being said, I find it waaay too expensive for the quality and quantity of the food. Great staff. Food was good but nothing special. $48 for Conchinita Pibil. It was flavorful but not worth the money. My husband had a salad with figs and they were soggy. The chicken paillard was good , but $47. I get in NYC from an excellent place for $28.
Food is fine. Service is great. Cilantro rice is flavorful. We have eaten great food on our trip here in NM in Albuquerque and Taos and paid nothing near this. My son had a$20 Papusa. One single papusa.
Nope.
This is a commercial bakery with an embedded restaurant.
Parking is off street, in front of the bakery. You go through the bakery shop to get to the restaurant. There was not wait when we visited on a weekday morning.
We got gluten free blue corn blueberry pancakes with pinions, a side of green chili sausage, and a Mediterranean omelet with smashed breakfast potatoes.
The omelet was very tasty, with a healthy portion of feta and kalamata olives.
The breakfast potatoes, baked then smashed and fried crispy were the star of the show.
The green chili sausage was good but not exceptional.
The blue corn pancakes were tasty, with a reasonable portion of pinions on top. Like many gluten free options, they lacked structural integrity. They were almost as good as the equivalent blue corn pinion pancakes at the Flying Tortilla (which are not gluten free).
There was a window to the commercial bake
ry floor in the dining room where we were seated. We enjoyed watching cinnamon rolls being made during breakfast.
It was a little pricey, $50 breakfast for two, but I felt like I got my money's worth.
I come here every time I have a conference in Santa Fe and it never disappoints! Even the kids love the food and the options, and the service is always exemplary. They even had gluten free toast!
Passing through town and stopped for coffee and breakfast. Happy to see all of the gluten free options. We sat out on patio and Sunday morning bluegrass is where it’s at. It was a lovely experience.
So good we visited two times during our 5 day stay in Santa Fe! Fun atmosphere during dinnertime! Excellent food and great gluten free items on the menu.
Really great food and smoothie. I had the gluten-free Cuban crêpe and the paradise smoothie. The smoothie was the best smoothie I have ever had ever. And the crêpe was super delicious. The owner was very nice and accommodating and it’s a sweet little atmosphere.
EXCELLENT place for breakfast!! This is the cutest little Cafe with really great food options. Everything was delicious and service was EXCEPTIONAL!!
We found this on the Find Me Gluten Free app as my son has Celiac's disease. It was a great place with several options to choose from.
Must go. This Brazil pour over with white chocolate and currant biscotti is my morning joy. Love the bookstore and great music in background. Will definitely come back. The bagel is fresh and fluffy! Gluten free cinnamon muffin yum!
✨Phenomenal ✨ coffee, handy location, lovely courtyard. We went twice in one day. Really nice staff too, regret not getting any food which looked great and included vegan and gluten free options. Definitely recommend.
The owner of Magpie up in Taos recommended this place to me.
Delicious fish tacos. Love that there were many gluten-free options. The pork tamales 🫔were sooo good!
You haven’t had gluten-free bread until you’ve had Wild Leaven’s bread! Nestled in the burgeoning Rufina/Theatre district, you’ll feel like part of the creative Santa Fe playground. ALL of Wild Leaven’s baked goods are thoughtfully created, deeply nutritious, and soul-satisfying. Great coffee, and soups too!
Delicious fresh food, creative use of spices and sauces. Not your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. Several of the dishes happen to be vegan or gluten-free, and it was so wonderful to be offered something more upscale. We tried the mushroom sopecitos and the ceviche - both really tasty. For mains, we had the cauliflower rostizado which came with a yummy spicy sauce and the chicken mole which is served with blue corn tortillas. For dessert, a homemade nectarine and pink pepper sorbet was perfect. There are lots of tequila and mezcal cocktail choices, beers on tap, and a small but decent selection of wines. Place has a funky vibe, too!
We found this awesome little delight looking for "gluten free" between Pecos National Park and Santa Fe. A perfect stop for my birthday lunch! I had one each Carne, Pollo & Belly... Each was delicious in its own special way. Happy 55 to me! We will definitely be looking for both of you Floyds when we return.
Great food but only a few gluten-free meals. An omelet is my go-to. Nice gluten-free baked goods. Wish they had gluten-free bread!! Did not like the buckwheat crepe at all.
We had a delicious lunch here! Some allergy friendly options and they do have gluten free bread available for a charge. The flan was delicious! Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Comfortable and relaxing place to eat. Food and service were great. Had gluten free bread and buns. It’s hard to find restaurants that fit strollers near the plaza, but we had no problem finding a place for the stroller here, and they had high chairs.
A quaint little restaurant in the plaza area of Santa Fe. Compact seating with hard bench like booths. Small tables with chairs to make more room. Walls are beautifully decorated. Unisex bathroom, usually a line forms so be prepared. The food is decently good, our party of three ordered a variety of dishes. So, the food portions varied, such as the order of nachos which was just a handful of chips on a little plate, very small portion for a lunch dish. Now the blue corn tortilla enchiladas (3) plate was evenly portioned and not overly crowded, looked very appetizing.
I ordered the Santa Fe plate with x-mas style chile (red and green). The plate came with a tamale, enchilada, taco, beans, Spanish rice and posole. All squished on to a similar sized plate as the nachos were served on. The posole, instead should have been put into a separate bowl so the food wouldn't get all saturated with juice and become soggy. The taco was left off because one, no room and secondly, it was forgotten all together. Each plate comes with a sopapilla except for the nachos. Gluten free options are available but with the possibilities of obvious cross contamination should be expected but they will try and prepare it safely. I will return to try another dish.
A forever gem and a staple in Santa Fe! This restaurant is quirky, warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and wonderful at what they do, they will make you feel at home the moment you walk in. I love the NYC fused with Southwestern vibes, great for all ages and group sizes. Now onto what you are here for; the delectable food with the best prices in town! I am a vegetarian and have tried everything veggie on the menu. The chef is very accommodating to your dietary needs, whether vegan, vegetarian or gluten free. The servers and counter staff will gladly recommend dishes to suit your tastes. The challah bread French toast, Santa Fe hash browns, Tofu Scrambler and classic Huevos Rancheros are some of my favorites to name a few. Great portions and thoughtfully cooked and flavored! My most recent order was a veggie burger, but I wanted to make it a little different and decided to order it on a bagel with loaded veggies like sautéed mushrooms, peppers, and sauerkraut. I added cheese but can be easily made to be vegan, or you can add meat if you fancy that, or substitute the regular bagel for a gluten free one. My bagel veggie burger was huge 😋 ! I love NY Deli, great for all diets, and it’s not the typical boring food most delis and restaurants serve to vegetarians and vegans.
It was a messy snowy morning in Santa Fe today. I was one of many who is nearly clobbered by an aggressive driver. So my day started out a little challenging. I had my car in for routine service, and when I was done, I was really hungry tribes was nearby and they have a vegetarian sandwich. It’s portobello pesto and provolone cheese, and I thought that would make my day! It did. on gluten-free bread and they had the vegan almond chocolate chip gluten-free cookies. I’m not vegan, but it works just fine. And wash it down with an Ethiopian organic medium roast doesn’t get much better than that. The stuff was friendly and courteous and helpful and tries is my go to coffee house when I am in Santa Fe .
Excellent breakfast & lunch spot, soon to offer dinner. Great variety of American & New Mexican dishes. Clea, spacious, & large dining room. Plenty of efficient and attentive waitstaff. They accommodated my gluten & dairy free dining companion. Good prices & plenty of free parking in their lot.
What an excellent lunch specials, have gone 2 days in a row and have not found a place as fast or any where as tasty as this establishment!! And especially at their prices, will definitely return again. One suggestion would be to offer a gluten free menu but those without the allergy it's awesome! Waitresses and servers know their food menu and to which they like and are very helpful in suggesting. Great customer service, great food and very clean restaurant!
Very busy, especially at the drive through during lunch. The food's good. They have a gluten-free option with the grilled chicken sandwich and a gluten-free bun.
This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. They have a gluten-free bread option and are very easy-going with substitutions for food restrictions. I absolutely recommend this place.
We were visiting Santa Fe for the weekend and originally came here because the menu looked like it had some good dairy free pancakes. There wasn't much for dairy free or vegan (although I think they had some gluten free options), but I won't knock Modern General because of my dietary requirements. I had a standard (dairy free) breakfast sando, but it was definitely above standard. The staff was friendly, the shopping was above par for a restaurant/gifts format. I even picked up a book for a Christmas gift and I'm not a spontaneous shopper.
Amazing! The coffee was fantastic, I asked for a not so sweet peppermint mocha and it was the perfect. They had gluten free donuts that was a great surprise for my celiac daughter. Also, the staff was super friendly!

Amazing outdoor dining with an exquisite view of the Jemez mountains. The food was mouthwateringly (if not a word, it is now😄) mind blowing! Delicious ahi tuna lettuce wrap, truffle fries, hot, crispy sweet potato fries, an excellent margarita, finished off with a special, one of a kind gluten-free desert that was out-of-this-world delicious. What's better is locals get 15% off! Thanks Terra for the perfect dining experience!! My new favorite in town!!
We ate very well, there are some really good promotions and in general there is good value for money. There are also gluten free dishes, attentive and kind staff.
I work real close by and we eat here at least once a week, sometimes two. They cater to my gluten intolerance, making all sandwiches available on gluten free bread. I have ordered a variety of menu items and am ALWAYS satisfied, not only full, but flavors and textures on point. So, today when I pulled up to get my curbside order, I had an important text I needed to answer right away. By the time I was done with my conversation (less than a minute) the hostess was coming down the ramp with my order. Amazing customer service!
