My coworker wanted to try take out from here and they have a limited GF menu: GF bread for burgers/sandwiches. Please note the fries are NOT celiac safe, so I got a side salad. Also sauces are limited as some contain beer. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten, and my food was phenomenal! 🍔
Came here for a family birthday dinner and had an incredible time. Our server was great, food tasted very good, and the atmosphere really made the experience. Menu is also easy to navigate for gluten free options.
Great service! Very accommodating! Good food, able to eat safely here as gluten free with staff understanding of cross contamination issues. Lovely meal!
Things to know:
Slaw = Raw Cabbage (for texture! No Mayo. This is a good thing).
Allergies = Super friendly. Clearly marked on all menu items; able to alter order for GF/DF for my wife who has Celiac.
Ambiance = bomb. Music was straight passion pit and phoenix. Bob’s burgers on the TV. Chattering teeth toys hanging from the ceiling. What more can you ask for?
Service = incredible. Andrea was knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and struck a great balance between making sure we had what we needed right away and leaving us be so we could enjoy our food. Her recommendations were spot on.
Prices/portions = also spot on.
Happy Hour = Half priced beer every day 4-7pm. It’s also not busy at all. Come here then.
Creole Fish & General Tso’s Shrimp Tacos = to die for. Literally. The shrimp taco was so spicy it almost killed me. I loved every minute of it.
Fly Bird = Nothing to write home about. This was my first visit and I hope I just caught them on a bad day, but I expected fresh tenders and these seemed like they were frozen/overly breaded. I’ll try again before I write it off wholesale. Redemption: the Fly Bird Custom Sauces were great and worth the extra $1.50. Try the Banana Pepper Honey Mustard. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy.
Excellent food, excellent service, awesome gluten free choices. This was quite possibly the best restaurant meal we have had in years. Thank you to the amazing wait staff & to the skilled kitchen staff for a meal we'll remember for a very long time!
They have gluten free fried chicken! Three Lives has incredible theming, the food was delicious, and drinks are unique and fun! The Super Nintendies are GF, and the tots can be made GF also. They were so good, and I had no reaction later on. Highly recommend! I plan to come back every time we're in town. 😊
This place is not for gluten free or celiac people. Until they change their business listing about being gluten free, all Kubal locations will keep messing up your Google Maps results (I have mentioned this to staff before). They only have a small basket of packaged gluten free brownies. My oat milk latte was not to my liking (it was one of the worst I’ve had and I have tried them at every coffee place in the city), but I know many other people who enjoy their coffee beverages here. The main benefit is the ambience.
Stopped in to Mona Lisa today, Sunday. They were serving a buffet menu all day, with different offerings for Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner. (On Sundays offerings are buffet only)My husband had the brunch buffet. There were some nice options, and all the food was homemade. Price seemed reasonable. I was unable to order the buffet as it contained many items which are not comparable with my dietary restrictions. They do have a gluten free menu but they are not contained on the buffet. Initially we considered not being able to stay, however after explaining my dilemma the owner graciously offered to make me one of the gluten free entrees. (See below for more info about dietary restrictions). I ordered the gnocchi with spinach, red pepper and Kalamata olives. It was definitely homemade and delicious. They were amazingly accommodating. Service was good. Would definitely recommend for those in need of gluten free.
This place is a hidden gem! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their selection of beers and local NY spirits was fantastic.
For any Dungeons & Dragons fans out there, the menu had a clever theme that was subtle enough for those who wouldn't notice, but a fun wink to those who did. Even better, the variety on the menu was impressive, with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options to please everyone. The sweet potatoes and fae salad were delicious!
The brewery hosts board game nights on Tuesdays. That was unexpected and I wish we had more time to partake. We had the chance to meet Dan, who generously gave us a tour of his amazing brewery.
Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu and rotating brews!
