If you’re vegan, gluten-free, health-conscious, and/or a bit of a taste snob — this is the spot in Sydney. Just post up here each day of your stay and rotate through the wide-ranging, exceptionally balanced menu of thoughtfully crafted meals and dream-worthy desserts. My personal favorites: the rose and pistachio cupcake, the vegan Thai beef salad, and the “Gimme That” protein shake — but truly, I tried nearly everything on the menu and was impressed across the board. The staff is warm, the vibe is relaxed, and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating with WiFi. Bonus: they’ve got a great little deli section with frozen vegan staples and pantry finds to stock up on.

Hạnh Phúc Vegan 242 Elizabeth St Surry Hills. (Note entrance is on Albion St.) Once you step inside and are greeted with genuine warmth, you know you're in for a treat. Despite the sign when you enter, No Chili, No Garlic, No Dairy, No Onion (which might deter some), the dishes here are bursting with delicious flavors that even non-vegans like me can appreciate. Some options are also gluten-free. The star of the show is undoubtedly the Pho, available in various varieties, each one a delight. You won't be disappointed. The spring rolls and salads equally impressive. What sets Hạnh Phúc apart is not just the food, but the genuine hospitality extended by the owner. From the moment you walk in, you're made to feel like family, and this warmth carries through to every aspect of your dining experience. The owner's kindness knows no bounds, and ensure you leave with a smile on your face. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices at Hạnh Phúc Vegan are surprisingly affordable, making it accessible to all. In fact, the owner's generosity often extends to throwing in a little something extra with your meal, ensuring that you feel valued as a customer. One aspect worth noting, go to the bathroom. It may seem like an odd inclusion in a review but trust me when I say it's a “Cu Chi” tunnel experience. You will leave with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a newfound appreciation for the joys of plant-based dining.

Very homely and absolutely delicious food. Huge range of Gluten Free options which suited our needs. The service provided by the owner was extremely friendly and helpful when choosing our meals. I would highly recommend Mexican Burrito Cantina to anyone looking for a traditional Mexican restaurant.
