We got a variety of pastas, pizzas, salads and sides. It was all fantastic, including the gluten free Caesar salad which my mum gave a 10/10. High praise.
I had the Pappardelle alla Norcina (Picture attached), which was lovely! I struggled to finish it as we also had garlic bread. My favourite part of the meal however was the focaccia we shared as a starter, which was warm, soft and had great flavour.

I had the special lion’s main satay starter and nasi lemak for main (both pictured). Starter was very good but the main was out of this world! Potato curry was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. All of the elements complimented each other so well. There were 6 of us and the bill came to £192 with all of us having starters, mains, sides and desserts, very reasonable price. 4 out of 6 of our party are meat eaters and we all enjoyed the offerings very much. Jessie (not sure of the spelling; with the cool dyed red hair) provided excellent service; she was really on it with the allergens, being knowledgable of what alterations can be made to the dishes to make them gluten free for my gluten intolerant sister, making sure to bring out the gluten-free dishes directly to my sister amongst a very big order for a party for 8, and even proactively ensuring the gluten-containing wasabi was not put on the dish, when we didn't even know wasabi wasn't gluten free. And she was also just really lovely and friendly. We had a great time eating here and practically rolled out the door after our meal. Thanks!

I've tried DD's in 3 places now and it's been good every time. The menu changes frequently as does the location though the vibe of the cafe in Marchmont is great for brunch.
The fried chicken is nice and crispy and a real treat if avoiding gluten (and also if not!). I highly recommend the Korean waffle if it's available (pictured at the Bellfield gf brewery popup). Very interesting flavours and not something you see everyday even with gluten.
They even sometimes have guest pop-ups themselves in Marchmont which is a brilliant idea.
