The atmosphere and food was good, as well as management. Glad to see management was capable of providing a hospitable and pleasant attitude and service helping us. Our server was Paris, did not look to enthusiastic or happy to greet us or serve us, we were 4 adults and 1 toddler. 3 of us were in the food and hospitality service for over 10 years. Table maintenance was non-existent. Food was entered in for at least 30 minutes before she mentioned to us they were out of the croissants. Water refills happened once throughout the entire experience, as well as the appetizer being ordered to be gluten free and came out wrong and had to be sent back. We ordered hot tea and never got any refills for our tea. We were there for close to 2 hours and despite the bad service we were still going to tip 15%-18%. When we got the check we noticed there was an 18% automatic gratuity added. The receipt states we were a party of 6 when we were 4 adults and 1 toddler. Spoke with management and they were also speechless as this maneuver was never approved. So the waitress earned herself 0 tip due to the lack of service, and trying to add gratuity to a group that wasn't even over the restaurants head count policy of 6 or more. 2 of our party were locals that literally regular this place, and were embarrassed to introduce us to a place they were happy to go to but yet brought so much disappointment to them as well. They have dietary restrictions that made this spot ideal for them in the past but due to today's actions, they will no longer be relying on this location as opposed to the other location on the other side of town. Thank you to management for helping us out correct our checks discrepancies this review is solely influenced by Paris's actions today and has nothing to do with the restaurant, food, or management.

Attentive and professional customer service, exceptional food recommendations, with vegan and gluten-free options available. A welcoming and contemporary ambiance. Appropriate for romantic evenings, family gatherings, and social outings with friends. Easy parking and outdoor dining options.

What we ordered: Fried Chicken Salad Fried Green Tomatoes Plain Fried Chicken Sandwich (Added Bacon) Crinkle Cut Fries ------- When planning an airport pickup in the Richmond, VA area I turned to my handy dandy @Find Me Gluten Free App as always as I'm a gluten-free diner. They do offer gluten containing food. Orders are placed at a kiosk, you MUST choose gf so be careful you're ordering correct and be vocal about your eating restrictions. Staff was understanding and I had zero reactions. Would love to see this process made easier to ensure gf made completely correct and away from other gluten items. We will absolutely return when in the area again.

The fish and chips (gluten free) were godly, so crispy on the outside and perfectly moist and tender inside. I've never had better! The pad Thai was also the best I've had in Richmond. Will be back soon to try the Thai curries and definitely get another fish and chips.

This place is amazing. When we arrived, we were quite overwhelmed that there was a wait. But, they took our cell number and we called inside seated within 10 mins of arrival. So, good first impression. Then, we read the menu and had a difficult time deciding. The waitress was very helpful and honest about the options. They have gluten free choices at no additional cost. And, they have heart healthy options. My wife raved over the biscuits and gravy... I think she was impressed that the biscuit tasted like it was made from scratch. A big bonus to me was the uniqueness of everything. Although it was breakfast and brunch and lunch, they had their own signature. Definitely going back and highly recommend 10 out of 10! Oh, and they are hiring. What a great work life balance to arrive at 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning and be done with work at 2:30 or 3pm. BTW, there was no rush for us to finish exactly at 2:30. In fact, we left at 2:45 and there were still people sitting at the tables laughing and enjoying the ambience. The staff was friendly and did not mind our extended stay... And, they have an outdoor seating area
