I’m so puzzled by the reviews for this place. This is a glorified IHOP but overpriced. They want $6 per gluten free pancake? Come on that’s what a whole dang bag of pancake mix costs! The atmosphere was loud and chaotic. The coffee was awful, the bacon was skinny and floppy, the only redeeming quality was the mimosa but how do you mess up champagne and juice? Don’t waste your time with this place. We didn’t even finish our food, this place ought to be ashamed at the low quality food they’re turning out for these prices.

We decided to make a reservation for my best friends birthday and it was so worth it. I’m gluten, dairy and strawberry allergic so I assumed I would not be able to have desert. However they went above and beyond for me. It was an amazing evening and we will absolutely go back again.

We came here after a low key courthouse elopement to celebrate with our families. I had been emailing with Zoe, the food and Bev manager and she was very responsive and accommodating. She made planning a breeze. Everyone was so impressed with dinner and they loved their food. I cannot emphasise how much their time and communication with us leading up to the event was valued. Sometimes with the allergies in our party, it’s tough to find somewhere that is able to accommodate and I really appreciated the staffs’ attention to detail and their knowledge about the menu. They were able to accommodate gluten free and low fodmap diets. Also literally everything we ordered was delicious. I also loved how one of the staff brought us out a little extra bowl of caper berries to try after my father in law insisted that everyone at the table try one from the charcuterie platter. The view was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing and I’m so glad we chose Russell’s to celebrate our special night with our family.

Wine selection was very good. I had the tea brined chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun. It was delicious. The fries were awesome too. My biggest complaint was the lack of gluten free options or menu. Fortunately they did have the gf bun.

They have high quality sushi and they provide things very traditional if you're looking for real Japanese food and they updated the inside to give you that feel that you are in a Japanese restaurant not and some modern odd fusion. And they're very mindful that some people can't have gluten or other items. They have gluten free soy sauce in they even know what's in the different dressings if you can't have gluten if you can't have soy and they go above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful experience and that it meets whatever your health needs are. If you go later in the evening, They play beautiful relaxing traditional Japanese guitar like music. That would be my only recommendation is that they play that music more often or if someone were to request it and other people don't mind to switch over to the traditional Japanese music.
