The gluten-free pizza dough wasn't that great but the staff was very friendly and super attentive to allergies and intolerances. Even too much since we were not served ice cream saying it contained gluten. Ice cream usually doesn't contain gluten (unless you get flavors like cake, biscuits, tiramisu, etc.) so I don't understand why. They gave us a table outside and it wasn't the best as it was on a street where cars passed, although there were few so we would have preferred to eat inside. The price was good and they don't charge extra for gluten free pizzas.

We had a wonderful meal at La Sciamadda dei Vinaccieri Ballerini in Sestri Levante. The farinata (socca) with cheese were delicate and delectable. The seafood soup was amazing, all of the seafood was so fresh as expected. We had a special tuna in a dark olive and tomato and pine nut sauce that had a beautiful blend of flavors. The chocolate torte was perfect, light, not too sweet and filled with hazelnut pieces. The service was fantastic. Luis did a wonderful job explaining the dishes and was attentive to our needs but not intrusive. One of the best meals we have had in Italy. And, fyi, we are gluten free and this whole amazing meal was GF!
