Let me start by saying that for us, finding a suitable place for a family lunch is a Mission Impossible undertaking, as we are a large family with 4 children, two of whom have celiac disease, which is why it is not always easy to find a restaurant that caters to dietary needs. special and at the same time with an excellent quality/price ratio. We have known Sciamadda for some years and we can attest that we have always left with a smile. Today we tasted, among other things, the classic Ligurian farinata, one of the best we've ever tasted, always soft inside and with a pleasant crust on the surface. The most appreciated dish was an unusual combination of spaghetti with cheese and pepper with mussels and plenty of katsuobushi (Japanese smoked tuna), also tasted in the gluten-free version with tagliolini. Compliments to the kitchen and the waiters, in particular to Biti, who guided us with sympathy and kindness in choosing the dishes.

The Le Gardenie restaurant in Riva Trigoso is truly exceptional. Value for money of the highest level, they have a very wide choice of dishes (not to mention the wine list and the Cantine Lunae Black Label... if you find a restaurant that has it on the menu, you should NEVER miss it) almost all also available for celiacs - despite not being a distinctly Gluten Free restaurant - as well as the pizza which they also do to take away. The staff is attentive to every need, so much so that they created special dishes for me and also brought me, instead of the usual pre-packaged bread, a gluten-free flatbread made sensationally good on the spot. The only flaw: it is almost always full and you have to book well in advance. PS: dispassionate advice, the chocolate nuggets of dessert are so delicious that they alone are worth the dinner

This is my favorite restaurant in Sestri! The food is amazing, especially if you’re gluten-free or dairy-free like me. The Fritto di Pesce senza glutine is the best I’ve ever had! I came back twice for lunch. You need to be patient with the lady serving; she means well and she is really nice.

Special restaurant facing the sea, superb attention to the customer! A corner of goodness and kindness, Jeff the boy who served us was very attentive and friendly. My partner has celiac disease and they prepared everything carefully to adapt it to her needs! Much more than recommended!
