The only place in town with reliable GF cheesey bread or breadsticks. Most menu items can be made GF if you ask since they make their own GF dough in house.
I was excited to return here after not having been for awhile. I have celiac disease and am always grateful for allergen friendly places. However, the server seemed sarcastic, like I couldn’t quite tell if she was annoyed or joking. The food was also ridiculously priced. I paid $18 for my son to have a lil burger.. over the top for the amount of food. When we were ordering, she asked what another member of of my party would like. So this guest starts to order and all of a sudden she’s flustered. Oh I didn’t finish the first order. I can read and take orders at the same time. Ok but you asked someone to start ordering. How do they know you are wanting them to slow down unless you say it politely. I wish I’d say I’d bring my family here again as I think the food and purpose is great. But I can’t. Too expensive and servers (at least this one) act sarcastic with customers. Too bad. I won’t be back.
Good place to let the kids play while you eat. Not safe enough for true celiac to eat even if their sides are gluten-free. Cross contamination is likely.
My husband and I are from out of town and decided to try the food :). We absolutely loved the freshness and the gluten free options. The portion sizes for the meals we got were FABULOUS!!! Highly recommend the Papas Rancheras (we did no hollandaise, sub extra jalapeño sauce and sub egg whites). Then we also got the short stack gluten free Blueberry Delight. We both could not finish any of it and had PLENTY leftover. Also love that they actually put photos of their food on the menu (helpful for visual people!!) wish more restaurants did that! Disappointed that we don’t have one where we live or this would become a regular for us. It was so good we ate there two days in a row and got the same meal 😃.
They advertise gluten-free however when you arrive their chips are not gluten-free anything that is fried is fried in the same fryer so cross contamination is an issue. The manager did offer to fire up the a clean fryer which was very kind . If you are going advertise GF then you should have it available
Hands down my favorite place to get pasta. They sub in a tender GF penne for you, and the sauces that are GF are clearly marked on the menu. My favorite is the chicken “fettuccine” (in quotes because you will get GF penne instead) with caramelized onions and mushrooms. The bolognese is also excellent!
You can even get a flourless chocolate ganache cake which is delicious! Large enough to share with 2 people easily.
We ventured out after the ice and snow hit last week. Well worth it. Warm delicious soup and a huge bonus: gluten free bread for sandwich. Pleasant environment, friendly staff, clean and well stocked salad bar with lots of healthy choices. We'll be going back!
Came here for the gluten-free hamburger buns. We walked in to a COLD restaurant and asked the greeter who is the kitchen manager, to make it warmer. He never did. Then our server came who looked 14 with dread locks hanging in his face, covering his eyes. The music was so loud we couldn't here him speak. He didn't smile. We were lip reading while telling him what we want. I asked him to turn down the music a little. And, the music was obnoxious.....not pleasant in any way. He never did. Our 4 year old's hands, ears and nose are cold. Can't wait to eat and leave.
It was phenomenal. Our waitress, Angela, was one of the most attentive waitresses I’ve ever had. There were 10 of us, yet we never went long without seeing her. She took great care of us. I got The Old Fashioned, and my hash browns were some of the best I’ve ever had. The sausage and eggs were perfect too! I love that they offer gluten free options too because my niece and nephew have celiac’s disease, so sometimes we have a tough time finding places to go out to eat. They loved the Mickey pancakes! This is our second time coming here, and it’s been great both times!
Wonderful dining experience with welcoming and knowledgeable wait staff, double sided gluten free menu (upon request), and delicious food. I highly recommend for safe gluten free dining.

Great food and knowledgeable staff. Every server was willing to work with us to help my Celiac son find something he could enjoy. They have gluten free bread for toast. The chips and potatoes aren’t gluten free because they only have one fryer. They do have GF tortillas that they can sub for quite a few items. They advertise a GF bun for the hamburger but it’s the same bread slices they use for toast and the burger is so juicy it makes the bread fall apart, which my son hates, so I recommend just getting the burger without a bun or wrapped in lettuce. Otherwise everything was amazing and we felt very safe/confident eating here.
Beacon Cafe breakfast is delicious. In addition to a full menu for all, their gluten free pancakes are incredible. Their flavored coffees rival the drive through coffee spots. I wish more people knew about this hidden gem.
Best meat I have had in a long time. If you are on a carnivore or gluten-free diet this is the place for you or if you’re vegan this would be a great place to come and let your mouth water.
By far the best gluten free bun around. Also the manager at this location is fantastic about making sure to get customizations right. Order from this place! You will not be disappointed!
Great for multiple people with different tastes that can't decide where to go or what to eat. Everyone gets their own 11"crust with their personal choice of unlimited toppings (you go down the line like Subway). They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Staff were very friendly. Tables and restroom were clean.
Very slow on food 45 min. And just ok. Expensive for just ok. Cheesecake very good big plus for gluten fee. My opinion eat elsewhere then go for cheesecake
We went here for a team lunch and sat on the patio. It was beautiful! I was truly impressed by everything at Quince. The atmosphere, the food, the service. Our waiter Gabe was A+! Plus, they had several gluten-free options. I will be back with my husband for more of this perfect patio weather.
I am gluten-free with celiac disease anytime I’ve told them I need a gluten-free salad of any sort. They immediately change their gloves and wash their hands and then typically only one person handles my food. So for the most part it’s been really great. All the workers have always been polite. Every time we have gone and we have gone multiple occasions, I have never had any issues. Some of the items are a little pricey like the tacos. The fact that you only get two tacos for the price you do is a little excessive when you can go to another restaurant and get at least three for around the same price. Other than that, I have no issues
Service friendly, cheerful, helpful. No gluten free buns, but the girl who took the order helpfully suggested a lettuce wrap. Food was good and quickly served. Very clean atmosphere, but decor was somewhat austere (minimalist) for my taste. A very pleasant experience.
Giving all the stars because they are fine dining in north Texas with gluten free options! But They took off the watermelon salad and need to replace it with an equivalent soon because it is SO fresh and delicious always paired perfectly with the redfish! Please bring it back or replace with another delicious and unique flavored green salad!:)
I have never been to a most raciest restaurant ever we are in 2024 and that is just crazy from the jump the waiter ignored us not having chips in our table decided to bring a plate which was gluten free steak which was medium rare we had ordered well done from the Jump and I asked for a manager which all he said was we can take the steak you got and put it back on the grill that is cross contamination I stated he said not really yikes I hope everyone he is aware that if you have a wrong food or the meat is not to cooked they will take the same food you have and put it with everyone’s else’s food
This was a fun place to eat breakfast with my wife and daughter. The atmosphere is pleasant. It is on the Trinity river with bright sun on the patio in the morning, which is fun. The service was good. My coffee came in a to go cup. I would have preferred a mug, but to be fair I didn’t ask for a mug. There was no fish on the menu, which is a downside. I enjoy smoked salmon for breakfast and would have enjoyed that. Otherwise the menu is quite diverse with many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The coffee menu is broad and I would like to go back and try more. They have a coffee shop in addition to a sit down restaurant for dining in. I simply had a black coffee and it was great. I had the veggie omelette with potatoes and it was good. We will be back.
My servers name was Marielle, had the prettiest smile and was so friendly. Got our food out at a decent time and helped recommend things that accommodated my brother’s gluten allergy. Such friendly customer service!
Gluten Free Options.
(Everything except the buns are GF)
Nice location. Good burgers and fries. Look up the (not so) Secret Menu. Fries are gluten free! .
Food was excellent! Servers were great and we were a large group (about 15 people). Server was also very knowledgeable about gluten free options and recommended some dish modifications to accommodate.
The atmosphere, the level of service, and the food are absolutely on point here each and every time we come in. Every worker is attentive and constantly working to provide the best possible service. The food is fantastic, and they offer many gluten-free options that make it easy for a blended family (gluten allergies and no allergies) to enjoy a nice meal together in one place. The portion sizes are large, and we had plenty to take home. We never had to request a drink refill, plates to be taken away, or anything else, only the check at the end. This has become our new weekend spot, and we can't wait to return.
Not a vegan. Brought vegans and another animal killer with me. I did not like the flavors being presented in anything I tried. I think the burrito was wrapped in a gluten free tortilla. I like my tortillas with gluten. The vegans loved the food. The other animal killer I brought with me also enjoyed the food. I paid a lil over $100 for 6 people which is okay. Shame that you guys charge for chip and salsa refills. NOW, with all that being said, my BIGGEST complaint about this place is how uncomfortable I felt being in the establishment. I would think you guys would want to be as inclusive as possible toward your community. Just so you know, I knew the establishment was vegan before I drove to it. The "cancel meat" signs you have posted on every door come off as being very obnoxious, in my opinion, and made it hard for me to enjoy the experience as a whole. For these reasons, I'm out.
My Beloved Joe and I went between 5:30-6:00 this Saturday. It's our Fave Mexican Place, and our Fave Server, Karla, was working this evening. She saw us and ran over, greeting us with a hug, since it's been a while.
Joe got his tried and true, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, and a Margarita, and I have Celiac, and don't eat pork, so I try different things. This time was Ginger Fish Tacos, on lightly grilled, homemade corn tortillas, and blackened tilapia. They have many items that are GF Friendly, just let your Server know.
Because we munched on a lot of chips, and their incredible Fresh Homemade Salsa, we were to full to eat the large portions we had, but that's why there's 'to go boxes' !
Joseph, the District Manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was OK. We sang Karla 's praises, which he agreed.
Joseph, it was a pleasure to meet you. Hope to see you again soon
