I love that this restaurant has gluten free options and takes allergies seriously! I wasn't thrilled with the service tho. My husband and I made a reservation Friday evening for a date. I picked on open table a standard table, assuming that's in the dining area not the bar. When we arrived, they were busy and it appeared they ran out of tables so they seated us at one the extended tables from the bar. I wasn't happy with the experience there, although the bartender took our orders quickly and was friendly, no one ever came back to check on us. I had a request for extra sauce but no one came by. I would have rather waited for a table than be seated at the bar, because you don't make a reservation to just sit at the bar.

During our 2nd visit tonight we had the garlic Parmesan wings and ordered two personal pizzas. There was a minor mistake in our order and the manager went above and beyond to make things right. We will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later. Definitely recommend going!!! And please don’t pass out on the garlic Parmesan wings!!! They also offer gluten free options!!!
We found this place online before a road trip through the area, as they had gluten-free pizza crust and vegan cheese available for me. My pizza was amazing, as was my fiance's regular crust/cheese pizza. Our server was lovely and the atmosphere was very old-school pub, with large brick pizza ovens in view. Definitely a place to visit in West Hartford :]
Four of us had a great lunch today. We were served by Taylor who was friendly and knowledgeable. One in our party needs to be gluten-free and Taylor was very helpful in letting her know what specific items could be made gluten-free. I had a turkey burger and I don’t order it restaurants because it’s usually dry and tasteless. But the turkey burger was seasoned, moist and delicious. Three of us had the eggplant fries which were a real treat. We will return soon.
Their gluten free pizza is the best I’ve had - and I’ve tried a lot! They have soo many options for GF pizza which is hard to find too. I do agree with one of the other reviews that the GF crust was a bit burnt/overcooked; I didn’t necessarily mind but you might want to request they don’t crisp the crust as long.
Delicious GF egg and cheese sandwich. They can make anything GF on the menu which is great for a celiac like me. It was nice to have soft big bread as I hardly find that anywhere. The coffee and upstairs atmosphere was nice as well. We will return.
Really like this place… it was an early dinner as we were going to a show… I was looking forward to the chicken parmigiana and it didn’t disappoint! It was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Wife had chicken a la vodka with gluten free pasta. She too was very happy! I forgot to take pictures….
I wish I could leave more stars! From the drinks at the start all the way to dessert at the end everything was FABULOUS! Tony provided an absolute excellent experience, if you’re in be sure to see if there is room in his section. Cherry on top is my dietary restrictions (celiac) was accommodated with the up most care!
I've been coming here on and off for years, and the food has always been just ok, but over the past few months we've had outstanding food! And they are the only place in my rotation that will make most dishes gluten free for me. The drinks are expensive, and could use a bit of a heavier pour for the price, but the service is always great. This place is back on our weekly rotation.
Stopped in for takeout while on a roadtrip. Service was quick, the staff was kind and the interior very inviting. Gave off a family style atmosphere with a priority on good food, drinks, and comfortable environment. The burgers were flavorful and cooked to the right temperature. They also have a good gluten free bun option.
This is our go-to Thai place in Hartford County. The food is great, staff are extremely friendly, and the prices are good. Portions = hearty.
Highly recommend:
Spicy Hot Basil Noodles
Basil Fried Rice
Green Curry
They handily accommodate vegan and gluten free diets, sometimes in the same dish. The fried tofu is incredible.
Dine in if you can, getting it fresh from the kitchen beats having it sit in a box!
If you had reservations about the price, don't. It was worth every penny in quality and amount. And of course, gluten free!!! My personal rec: the yams.
I love going to the cheesecake factory! We don't go often. But it is always fun when we do! The whole hustle and bustle of this restaurant, with its cosmopolitan air and sky high ceilings decorated in a "Blend of Victorian, Egyptian, and even a touch of Hollywood glam" the ambiance is second to none! ( : You feel like you stepped onto a movie set in Morocco! ( :
The menu is phenomenal too! Wow! It is literally a book filled with all manner of culinary delights for you to enjoy! ( : And for me, having to eat Gluten Free, all GF items are clearly marked throughout the menu making it very easy to choose a delicious option! ( :
Above and beyond.
We went for a luncheon. My wife is gluten free. They made, at a moments notice, her a GF meal. They also brought out a GF dessert without request.
It’s was really appreciated.
Good food, good atmosphere, seems short staffed. I really enjoyed my strawberry boba tea and that they had clearly marked gluten free options. However, waiting at the counter for my item I got ignored as the cashier ran around dropping off orders and pulling things out of the oven. I eventually gave up on ordering a full meal and just got a drink so I could leave. That said, the food looked good and smelled great. I just didn't love the service. I would give this place a second chance, the ambiance is nice and lots of people seem to like to set up and work from the location.
Tried Le Mazet tonight for the first time and it was so great! Great service and each and every staff member that greeted us was so friendly. We started with the steak tar tar which was one of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the duck sandwich on greens (which was a nice gluten free option) and the salmon. Both were very good and both came out shortly after the other. Will definitely come back again in the future!

Great food done quickly and for a reasonable price. Options for different dietary restrictions available. Were very understanding about such restrictions, even offering to use a separate press and knife when we ordered one of the paninis with gluten free bread!
The food is excellent. We each had a flatbread (one gluten-free, one regular bread) with delicious middle eastern dips. The regular bread was fantastic - hot out of the oven, drizzled with good olive oil. The gluten-free bread was surprisingly good, so much so that the gluten-tolerant member of the party would happily have eaten a flatbread dish with gluten-free bread. Service was pleasant, just a bit chaotic, but the restaurant was busy and crowded at the time. The dining area is very tight, and was busy on a Sunday early afternoon. There was also a brisk takeout business going on. I suspect that they will need to expand into a larger restaurant space in the near future. Plenty of free, on-street parking, plus a small free off-street lot.
