Have been here before and enjoyed the experience so thought we’d give it another go.
Smashed Avocado Bagel (with Salmon as an add-on) was generous and the salmon portion very generous. Bagel was very tough to cut with a knife though but maybe being gluten free had something to do with that? Very tasty though.
We also had the Poke Bowl which was underwhelming. Not the traditional bowl at all, as it was on a plate. No sign of coriander in the rice, no kewpie mayo, no crispy shallots and no sweet chilli (all were advertised on the menu). Pretty disappointing for $32.90 and our two meals and bottled juice made it an $80 lunch.
Really lovely staff. I have specific diet restrictions and they kindly made me a toastie on gluten free bread. Most of my group got coffee and the big sausage roll. What a great deal. The sausage roll really is big!
Great service tonight from our lovely server Ethan. Easily helped us with our gluten and soy allergies. Was a nice nostalgic time as we no longer have a Cobb and Co where we live.
Best food I’ve had while in NZ! Was super busy but food came in good time at all and was simply amazing! Absolutely recommend!
Good gluten free options too!
The food was delicious, the customer service excellent. Only downside - so many wonderful options to choose from. Excellent gluten-free options. Positive consumer experience thanks 😊
Great place for a quick bite to eat or full feed.
Very clean and waiters are very pleasant and curious.
This time just went for a lge bowl of chips and wine as we know this place caters for persons with Coeliac.
I just got the worst GF pizza from the Koutu branch. The normal pizza is good, but the gluten free pizza is absolutely uneatable. GF is not a choice for everyone! 😞 If you can't prepare GF food don't say you can and then add extra charges and expect people to be happy with tast- less food 😡
Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The waiter was great in helping my wife with some changes to her meal as she is on a gluten free diet and has some other food intolerances.
My steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.
Tonight table of 4.
1 gluten free. Which when asked the server what options, to his reply anything we can change the menu to suit. Food was beautiful. Personally I had the ostrich special..... divine!
Fantastic service, time between courses was perfect, drinks were never empty.
Highly recommend.
We will be back!
Yummy fusion if Latin American cuisine, tasty food full of flavor, many Gluten-free options. Sangria with a tocuh of sherry was exceptional, so was the staff. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend trying their home made jalapeno sauces too. Thanks Sabroso!
Really lovely spot for dinner. I brought my family here last night - we have three vegetarians, a vegan AND someone with gluten allergy, and Lovely India catered to all of us beautifully. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive, all the dishes were absolutely delicious and the prices were fantastic. 10/10 we will definitely be back
Sadly thus place let me down, on the menu it says several items are Gluten Free, I'm Coeliac so need this to be true sadly it isn't, when I went to order they told me everything is cooked in the same oil etc, I was extremely angry, IF IT'S NOT GLUTEN FREE DON'T ADVERTISE IT AS SO ! Only call it GF when it actually is !!!! Learn about this please !!!

We really enjoyed our evening at The Brook. Keith was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about food and wine. There was an excellent selection of gluten /dairy free options on menu, which was so refreshing. All the food we had was absolutely delicious! Compliments to the chefs 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻We would love to dine again.. very happy we found such a great restaurant in Rotorua.
