Bar located near the central station and Chinatown.
The menu features many varieties of pancakes, including Dutch ones, both sweet and savory.
I appreciate the possibility of gluten and lactose free options.
The pancakes, the one with apples and the one with chocolate chips, are very good and generous in size.
Unfortunately, despite being young, the staff is not friendly, never a smile and when I asked if there were vegan options I was told by a girl to look on the menu even if there was nothing written on the menu, I solved it by talking to the male waiter who was able to point out options not listed on the menu.
We spent €10.70 per person for two pancakes.
They were kind and welcoming, as someone who can only eat gluten free they were really accommodating to my allergy and I had a lovely and delicious time!
GLUTEN FREE BEERS!!! Highly recommended place, there are two types of gluten-free beers and they were very delicious. Great music, attention and atmosphere.
A group of us went in , no problem sitting down , very attentive to us , ordered gluten free fajitas, came it was really good , had the pitcher of margarita between 4 of us ,was faultless
Bright, vibrant, friendly venue with wonderful food at very reasonable prices. It was my first gluten free meal, having struggled to find places to accommodate my dietary requirements. I enjoyed the ambiance, the city skyline and the delicious food and would strongly recommend this venue.
Well, I must say the fries were good but a friend ordered a gluten free burger and first of all there was a really long hair on it, but it didn't really bother her because well we thought it can happen but something that really shouldn't happen is that she got severe problems because apparently there was gluten in it. Even though she asked the staff 5 times if her meal is really gluten free.
An absolute must-try if you're in Amsterdam 🙌. Probably the best fries I've ever had: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served in generous portions 💯😍.
Plus, almost the entire menu is gluten-free 🌾✅ (only two sauces aren't, and they're well-marked). As a celiac, I felt comfortable eating here, a huge plus!
I ordered a medium portion with truffle mayo and BBQ sauce for €9.50 🍟🍄🔥. Crazy delicious! The medium portion is more than enough for someone with a hearty appetite.
📍 Super conveniently located in the center, ideal for a street snack worth every euro. Highly recommended.
🚶♀️There's usually a bit of a line, but it moves quickly!
🌱It also has vegan options
Super tasty gluten-free pancake, but what got me was the niceness of the server! I wish I asked for her name so I can refer her! She was so nice to make sure she explained that the pancake is made separately from the rest to prevent contamination. She got out of her way to make me feel extra safe to eat there. Thank you!
Being in such a touristy area and next to the Patagonia store we were afraid to fall into a trap. But the vegan lasagna and Cesar salad were very good. The waiter was particularly nice substituting croutons by gluten free bread without even asking. So, full of North American tourists and elsewhere, but worth the stop!
We just happened to stop here, and I was SO happy because there are SO MANY gluten-free options. The menu clearly identifies what is GF. Food was delicious
I rarely leave negative reviews. I will start with the positive, which is that the cut of beef I had (tenderloin) was very good.
Unfortunately, there were several negatives:
* the mixed vegetables were literally frozen vegetables that had been microwaved, with two slices of sautéed onion and one slice of sautéed pepper thrown in. No seasoning. Maybe 1/4 of a bag of frozen carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower you could buy for €2, and they charge €6,50.
* the baby potatoes were baked, with essentially no seasoning, no oil, nothing. Just baked.
* the gimmick (which I hadn’t realized ahead of time), is that the meat cooks at the table on a hot stone. So if it’s over-cooked, that’s on you. The instructions they give are to cook it 30 seconds on each side. That is not enough to come close to browning the outside of the meat and it will be completely raw. I don’t like overcooked meat, but 30 seconds on a side?? I don’t think you could brown the outside without way overcooking the meat. It pretty much can’t be cooked properly this way.
* water cost €6,50.
* the old fashioned cocktail (€14), was made with cheap whiskey and overly sweet.
* service was very slow and the servers didn’t know what was gluten free or not.
* the website claims to have over 75 menu items. I guess they are counting different sizes of the same cuts of meat, mixed and matched with the sauces that cost an extra €2,50 for ~1.5 tablespoons of sauce. When you don’t order the extra sauces, they bring the plates with empty bowls.
After this, we definitely did not try dessert. I guess this is what we get for eating in the tourist district.
I should have been suspicious when they didn’t have their menu online. Definitely got dubious when I saw paper napkins.
I’m amazed at all the positive reviews.
Super good. I think one of the best burgers we tried. Really nice salad, good bread + nice meat and very, very tasty and fresh. I loved it :)
I tried Keto version of burger, without bread and was with salade. So it is Keto and gluten free friendly.🥩🍗🥓
Price range is good for Amsterdam.
You will need about 15e per person with some drink. And that is not too much for Amsterdam. Highly recommended for all meat lovers.
This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a rather fancy restaurant with a homey feel in the middle of Amsterdam. They have only a couple of menu options but that’s a good thing because everything tastes great. They are very facilitating towards gluten free options. The staff is great and they have good wines.
