Ristobar San Polo is definitely worth the stop! The workers are incredibly kind and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. My favorite is that they offer gluten free items, such as gluten free lasagna! They offer indoor or outdoor seating, and I believe they do to-go.

I highly recommend this place: in addition to being super nice, the food is really good! Everything was delicious and they had tons of gluten-free (and celiac-friendly) options. It is often full so it is best to book a little in advance.
Very good experience ! Best seafood pastas ever ! Great location ! And the waiters answered positively to all our requests, as gluten free pastas! Probably the best restaurant in Burano!
A wonderful surprise and discovery!
I didn't know this place, an extremely inclusive place not far from San Marco.
They have a separate totally vegan menu, and several gluten-free options.
The staff is very kind, and above all competent in matters of intolerances.
We ate a lasagna with radicchio and mushrooms (really creamy and tasty), goulash and a tasting of vegan cheeses and cured meats.
Enjoy the chef's entree and the gluten-free bread basket served hot.
The portions are not abundant and the price is not particularly low, but I think it is the right price for the research and direction of inclusiveness undertaken by the owners.
Finding a restaurant in the heart of Venice where intolerances are not a limit is truly beautiful.
I hope there will also be such inclusive bacari and cicchetterie in the future.
Really recommended!
I was referred to this restaurant by a friend who had previously visited Venice. I will say that making a reservation (day of) was very easy to do online and the service was top notch. They were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten free and dairy free) and offered replacements for anything that I could not eat on the traditional menu. The back patio was very quiet and had a great ambiance. The only issue was that as soon as the sun went down, the mosquitoes came out in full force. I realize this is not their fault and they were very good about providing big spray to our table, but the mosquitoes were actually an extreme deterrent. We almost asked to move inside.
The biggest reason for the 3-star rating is that he food was surprisingly bland. We ordered two appetizers, the tuna and the spider crab. The crab was tasty, but the tuna lacked flavor. For our first course, I ordered the pasta with scallops and mushrooms (very good!) and my friend ordered the zucchini flower pasta with prawns (extremely bland except for the prawns). For our second course, we ordered the fish of the day (sea bream). It was a well-cooked fish, but there was very little flavor or seasoning on it and the root vegetables were under-seasoned as well.
For a Michelin Star rated restaurant, and one with a hefty bill at the end of the night, it was not worth it in my opinion. There are far more places in Venice with $15 pasta dishes that were larger, more filling, and much better.
Sadly to say, I would pass on going back to this restaurant, even though the vibes and staff were great.
