We always come here when we are in town because they are so good at dealing with our celiac kiddos. Our server, I think Dexter, was fantastic and attentive. Highly recommend a visit. The huevos rancheros on the brunch menu were excellent.

Red Robins, Kamloops has the best gluten free buns of any burger place I have been to. I never feel deprived for having food sensitivities at this restaurant.
We also recently had part of our daughters birthday party here and Jordanne (server) and Nyree (Manager) were so accommodating. The kids menu has so much choice, the bottomless drinks are a hit, and the hot cookie to go always makes the visit for my kids.
Thank you for such a great visit.
Gluten free options weren't labelled on the menu but when I talked to the server about it she was confident in what options could be made gluten free. Food was good and staff were great help in managing my allergy.
We had an unforgettable evening at Maurya’s Restaurant during our Russian-Ukrainian girls’ night out—we were treated like Hollywood stars! The incredible quiet atmosphere was such a highlight— a place where you can talk to your whole table without having to shout.
The FANTASTIC cocktails were stunning, both in flavor and presentation, and they also made zero-proof drinks for those of us not drinking alcohol.
The best drinks in Kamloops 100%.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our food concerns, making everything zero spicy, gluten-free, and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional and made us feel so special all night.
Maurya’s is truly a gem in Kamloops—a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend!
my go-to place for gluten free poutine! the people there are super friendly and always load the poutines up with lots of gravey and curds! 😍 appreciate you guys!!!
As someone with celiac, I'm often leary of my first experience at a new restaurant. I was very pleased with how accommodating the staff was. They were very careful to make sure my food was safe for me. Obviously some things had to be modified but they did a great job and it tasted amazing. I'll definitely be back.
A local recommended this place to us and what an excellent place it is. The gluten free menu was extensive and the food was delicious (got the underbelly). All the food is locally sourced and cooked to perfection plus the staff were amazing.
Gluten free burger was excellent, fries looked like McCains and were blah and prepackaged gravy. For that price I would expect a better quality. Slow to receive though, no followup check on quality (serving 101)
My main two issues were/are: The "music" you play in a eating establishment is to enhance the experience for your diners people. The auto tuned pop garbage was only enjoyed by the 20 yr old diners, oh wait.....there were none!
Secondly; 22% as first choice on tip screen? Ridiculous.
Celiac friendly!!!
I ordered through door dash as I was staying in Kamloops for my boyfriends surgery and needed to order to my hotel. After seeing so many places that I felt unsure and unsafe ordering from with celiac disease, I decided to order the goddess bowl from chopped leaf with a note mentioning my celiac disease.
Not only is it DELICIOUS, but I was ecstatic when I saw on my receipt that they had marked it with a caution for celiac, and notes to use untouched toppings with clean spoons.
I felt so happy about it all I am writing this review while in the middle of eating haha. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are gluten-free and want to stay safe while eating out.
I ordered pakoras from the Indian street food stand and it took them 45 minutes to prepare my food. The staff acted like this was normal. I do not recommend. I found everything in the hall expensive, despite the low overhead of operating in a food court, and there were not many gluten-free options.

I googled who had the best baked potatoes, Kelly O'Bryan came up first!! Excellent food and a very attentive server! We had appetizers & drinks. They also offer several gluten free dishes in appetizers and entrees, very important!
Thoroughly enjoyed brunch at Red Beard. It has a groovy light vibe and helpful staff with delicious food. I am Celiac and they were able to make the amazing Monte Cristo sandwich GF. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested a side salad over the potatoes as there was a CC risk. It was one of the best sandwiches I have had. The side of maple syrup was the piece de resistance!
I had a London fog made with loose leafs tea and my company had a draft Radler with fresh grapefruit juice! These folks know how prepare both food and beverage. A must for locals and visitors alike.
Romeo’s used to be my favorite place. Me n the bestie would go every Friday but then the menu changed and became really small. They took away the pizzas (WHY) they were so good. The wing then became our favorite and they also removed those off the menu. Food is great but the menu is super small and next to nothing for gluten free so half my friends can’t even eat there really.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner! As something with Celiac Disease, the staff were super conscious and caring. Even bring out a appropriate palate cleanser instead of the gluten version. Thank you so much!!!!!
Frick & Frack recently catered a school function for my son, and provided a taco buffet, complete with two kinds of meat, toppings and salads. There were vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options and everything was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend!
Gluten free is so not gluten free...apparently you still have to ask for it to be gluten free even if advertised as such. Sick before I left building...omg...I rarely get poisoned at white spot....so go there often....but will be way more vocal now...lol
March 13 2024 at around 10pm I showed up to Dennys in Kamloops on Columbia. I usually avoid Dennys because I find they are overpriced and dont offer gluten free food in a simple manner. It seems that they have a lot of gluten free upgrades. Like fake meat patties, and English muffins... The previous time that I've been to a Dennys, I can honestly say I've had one of the worst natchos (different branch). The cheese was a sauce, without a good vegetable selection. And not moist and overall appealing. However they do put meat in it without charging extra. Well, since the server didn't seem inclined on helping me with my dietary restrictions, and there seemed to be only around 3 items that didn't require upgrades to become gluten free. I still went for the natchos, because 2 eggs isn't enough... The natchos were filling, but no surprise for taste and quality. I was also a bit frustrated to see a plate on the kitchen counter left unattended for about 3-5 minutes before my server grabbed it, added sour cream, and brought it to me. I'm sure the kitchen staff are doing exactly what they are told. But, Dennys can learn from just about anybody on how to improve their natchos, service, and pricing. The only reason that I didn't give a lower rating is due to friendly service, and 24/7 hours of operation. The Dennys site that I saw from google maps did not mention cash as an option? Are they supporting the agenda of a cashless society too?
The ambience was very nice, we had a Tatami room and it was lovely and the service was super. The food was also amazing. I have a severe gluten allergy and I had NO concerns, I was totally confident the food was prepared safely. Thank you for a nice evening meal while travelling through Kamloops. ( parking is also free for 2 hours while eating here - a nice little bonus ).
I love coming here because of the gluten free options, mind you I no longer eat any of the fried foods because I've gotten sick from it due to cross contamination, amazing staff on most days, however I don't like being gossiped about for having adhd and being denied my rights as a paying customer makes it really hard to return as a paying customer...
Oh my god, what a fantastic local restaurant!
We came for brunch (party of five) on a holiday Monday. We were immediately greeted by a smiling happy employee, and directed to a table.
The menu had an excellent selection of old favourites, so everyone was able to order something great. With the choice of gluten free bread, my daughter was able to order a full breakfast. We ended up with three breakfasts and two burgers (one being the daily special).
When the food arrived we were all impressed by the presentation and portions. No one was going home hungry today 😋
I can't say enough about the service we recieved. It was soup to nuts excellent without ANY snags. Our waitress/hostess did her job seemingly without effort, while keeping everyone in the restaurant happy.
The decor reminded me of happy memories, while being modern and up to date enough so as not to seem dated.
So, did we have a good time and eat some great food? Yes.
Will we be back? Yes.
Will we be recommending Kirsten's to our friends? Yes.
Will we be recommending Kirsten's to our enemies? No, they don't deserve it.
I ate here twice on two days! It was very good and there were many food options. They were excellent with making sure my food was gluten free and celiac safe. They made my feel separately to avoid cross contamination. Great experience! I'd recommend to anyway, especially people who can't eat gluten.
One of my favourite breakfast places because of this prawn and avocado dish. Gluten free without the bread and shredded hash-browns I stead of the smash brown. And also our waitress has always been great.
Brought our grandkids and they said it was one of their favorite restaurants ☺️ they each ate from the kids menu and I had gluten free dinner. The service was fast and friendly and food was very good.
wow!!! Priya is amazing service! she was so attentive to my needs as i have a gluten allergy. her customer service was excellent, she had a huge smile on her face and was great to deal with! its a nice little restaurant and great food. the food was fresh, restaurant clean and great service. food was fast as well!!
Gluten free options are so tasty!! Food was ordered online and picked up. They call to confirm the order and provide time to pick up. Staff is friendly.

Enjoyed a large group dine in with 2 children. The food came quickly and in stages allowing people to serve the dishes to themselves and the staff were attentive gathering dishes as needed. The food was good and the price was very reasonable for 9 people. The lemon crispy beef was so good 👍 and can never go wrong with the chicken chowmein, sweetnsour pork, pork fried rice and the egg foo young is the best 👌 I was told the wonton soup was very good and everyone enjoyed the food and service. All for $150 ish.
Breakfast Wes a very nice surprise - excellent service and good food. The farmers sausage and hashbrown potatoes were delicious, and gluten free toast was available. Well worth the visit!
Such a cute bistro! The food was phenomenal, the staff were so kind, and the atmosphere was very cozy. They had gluten free bread and tons of options for milk alternatives. We got breakfast here and really enjoyed it - the pancakes were particularly fantastic (served with mascarpone & fresh fruit), and the bacon and caramelized onion eggs benedict was so tasty.
The food was so good that we ordered a few more drinks to take with us on the road! Definitely try their London fog & house-made iced tea. ☕
Friendly staff, excellent food. My favourite dish is the Singapore Vermicelli Noodle dish, as a celiac person, this mix between rice noodles and curry are delicious. I could eat it everyday !!
Amazing food, with Gluten free options. When they say gourmet burgers they mean it! Really friendly and caring staff. We had never gone and were not expecting Live Music, made the experience even better! 10 / 10 Definitely going back!
Drinks were good, our server -Stacy- was great! Didn't have any food but what I saw on the surrounding tables looked good! I'm celiac and my server was able to recommend some good gf drink options.
Great McDonalds location, We stopped in for a quick meal on the highway traveling through Kamloops. Mcdonald's is becoming better and better at gluten-free options. I had a big Mac with a lettuce wrap and a poutine. It was a nice meal and completely gluten-free 👍
